I purchased this for New England weather/an upcoming trip to London. I have yet to fully test its warm but I'm extremely happy with the fit. As someone with hips, I struggle to find long winter coats. This does not flare out on me like some other reviewers mentioned and I find it fits true to size. I love that it's light and easily packable. Can't wait to truly test it out. I ordered a large, 5'5"/150lbs.

I was shocked at how light the coat felt when it arrived and even more so to see how warm it was when I wore it. Telling everyone about it!

How can something so light be so warm? I don't know, but somehow, it is. It is not bulky, so that even when layering you don't feel like a balloon. I like the 3/4 length, too, and the fit is true to size. It has just turned cold here in Chicago, so I anticipate a lot of use from the coat.

I love the coat. It's light weight, not at all bulky, and keeps me warm.

I absolutely LOVE this coat. It is lightweight but warm, fits wonderfully, is cozy, and looks great! Winter is just beginning in Michigan, so my only hope is that it is warm enough for me as the temps continue to plunge!

This is my second Ultralight Down LL Bean Coat; It is warm, not heavy, good length and love the color!

I love LLBean outerwear but I find it difficult to find the perfect fit for my size except for this coat. So lightweight and so warm. It is offered in the jacket, mid length and long coat style. I chose the 3/4 coat which is simply perfect and so comfortable.

This is very warm, ultra light coat, perfect for extended time outdoors.

This coat runs true to size which is rare these days. I usually have to go up a size to comfortably fit around my hips. I am usually a size 12 and bought a size medium. It is warm, light and packable. A pretty perfect combination. This is the type of item I would expect LL Bean to produce and hopefully for years to come fantastic fit and slimming even in down!

It's lightweight, warm and classy! I love it! It fits as expected; I wear a Petite Small. Sometimes Petite small sleeves are a little shorter than I like but the sleeves are perfect on this.

This is hands down the best coat I have ever owned...and I am a coat girl, so high bar. It is the perfect weight for warmth but not bulky. And bonus is it has a nice cut and flattering shape. It def. runs large, I am busty and usually XL, but it was too big so exchanged for a L and it is perfect, even for a layer underneath. LOVE LOVE this , worth the money, high quality and excellent fit, thank you LL Bean!!

Warm and lightweight. That's exactly what I was looking for.

I haven't worn it yet but it fits true to size. I like that the pouch is attached , but practice getting it in the pouch. Practice makes perfect!

Fits well, not loose, not tight. Lightweight yet warm. Can start off with cold morning and continue throughout day when temps rise.

Got this jacket for my Iceland trip and it was perfect. I'm 5'2 200# and was roomy enough in the arms to not feel tight with layers underneath. Also since I'm short the length was just about my knees so didn't feel too long. I should probably give this a 4 start as the color doesn't really match what I ordered but it's grown on me.

This coat fits extremely well and is lightweight, warm & comfortable. It's great for running errands and running my dog. I'm getting lots of compliments on it!

I love my new coat! The fit, color and just the right "weight" or fluffiness.

This is my second one, only because the color of the first one does not go with all of my clothes. These are my "go to" coats - perfect in a range of weathers, washes beautifully (don't forget the tennis ball in the dryer!) and good for all but the dressiest occasions.

I'm very pleased with this coat. Haven't worn it yet, as the weather is still mild, but I look forward to wearing it this winter!

I've been eyeing this coat for quite a while, and finally purchased it a few days before a trip to the Scotland and England. It was EXACTLY what I hoped it would be! Warm but breathable, water resistant in light rain, and easily squashed into my bag if needed. Living in MN, this will easily become my go-to fall and winter coat. It does run big. I'm 5'6" and 135 lbs and tend to wear a M in tops and 6 in pants. I ended up getting an XS coat, and I still had room for a big bulky sweater underneath without feeling restricted.

My wife loves the coat! Looks great, warm, comfortable and priced right!

It is so comfortable!!! It is lightweight, and easy to put on and off! Can't wait to wear it when cold weather comes
