I like the shirt just wish it was a smidge larger. Better fit if not trying to layer

First - the Gen X side of me loves the plaid look. Second - the shirt is so comfy. It works great for putting a tank or t-shirt under and staying warm when temps are upper 50s or so. Third - I read reviews before I purchased and understood that it could be boxy but I was willing to try it. It is boxy on me. I could try sizing down to a Large however I believe my waist would not work well with a large. With that in mind, if I needed to layer more underneath that would not be a problem. Because it's boxy it's not my favorite top but it is in the rotation for top 10.

I like this shirt however it really runs big in the waist.

I bought this in 2X, a size bigger than usual LLBean clothes. I think a lot of their Women's clothes run smaller than other brands, especially in shoulders and length of the sleeves. In the larger size, it fits. I haven't washed it yet, but won't put it in the dryer. I love the softness and weight of the flannel and that I can wear a tee shirt underneath.

Almost too small but cute! It's a lot lighter weight than I thought it would be buts so cute! I want to purchase more

I actually ordered 2 of these jackets, but one of the jackets has a zipper that gets stuck every time i wear it, so I will send it back and hope for a different one. However, the jackets are well made, in great colors.

I bought this for my girlfriend. She likes the fit and the comfort of the material but thinks the fabric is a little thin for a hoodie that she would wear in cooler weather. She will wear it on a little warmer Spring and Fall days.

I got a size larger because flannel shrinks so badly. I'm glad I did. It would be perfect if it were longer. I like the zip closure. The colors are my favorites.

I bought a 3X. The arms are too tight for the body of the garment. which is too generous. I usually fit your 2X or 3X just fine.

This is a very nice, warm, and comfortable shirt. however I washed it according to directions in warm water and it shrunk a little. i think cold water would be better

This is a nice hoodie, but it's blousy(large) around the waist. The sleeves are a little short, but the plaid is nice and well made. Probably should have bought an extra small petite, but I based the size on the size chart. It's a good weight for Southern winters.

I really do like the idea of this zip hoodie, but the fit is not ideal. I wish it were a tad longer. I like relaxed, but a little shaping would have been nice. This is very boxy. That said, it is warm and comfy.

I've purchased two of these hoodies, one in the grey stuart plaid and my newest one in the royal stuart plaid. I love the hoodies themselves. The fit is perfect for me. The color of the grey stuart was exactly as expected. The royal stuart, however, was a big disappointment. I love this tartan and have a number of items in it, from flannel sheets to a face mask. The red in this tartan is supposed to be a very deep, rich, true red. The red in the hoodie I received is a faded, orangy red. If I had gone to the store to look at it and that's what it looked like, I wouldn't have bought it. I've decided to hang on to it until I can visit the store in person and look at the other ones they have there. Maybe I just got one from a bad color batch and I'll exchange it at the store. If they all look the same, I'll return it. I didn't give it less stars because my gripe is only with the color of the one I received and not the line of hoodies itself, which I really like.

So far so good. I bought two of these in different plaids. I have worn one more than the other, but only about three times. It looks like it might be getting pills. But I don't know. I hope not because I would hate to have to return it. It is very utilitarian and soft. It can be used as a sweater or light jacket around the house or going out anywhere.

I bought a regular medium. The feel and density is perfect. It is cut too boxy though. Wish it was a little longer in the rear and not so wide in the waist. Will try the small...

This shirt is warm and well made. I am only 5'7" and it seems a little short. This shirt would be AMAZING if it was made in tunic length. Think of how great it would be if it were longer and could be worn with leggings and boots. Overall, a nice shirt. Looks good with jeans and very comfortable. Let's think about making this in tunic length L.L Bean!

The mid section sticks out and makes you look a little pregnant from the side - and I'm done looking like that! I wish the cut was a little better but the fabric is very nice.

I normally buy a size 1x in LLBean tops, but this particular hoodie was on sale in xlarge so I took a chance. Glad that I did. The 1x would have been too big. Great workmanship with binding tape sewn on the inside seams. Tunic length that covers my bottom. Soft cotton flannel. It did shrink a tiny bit after washing but it is still loose fitting on me. Also, I am short so the slight shrinkage in length didn't affect me but it might be discouraging for a taller person

its LLBean! on the upside--the hoodie is super soft (even after washing!), warm but not too warm, light and fits great. I wear it all the time, much to my husband's chagrin.

This is comfy and fairly warm and I love having the hood. I would definitely size down. I typically wear size medium in everything but that was way too big so I exchanged for a small, which still has more than enough room (I could easily also wear an xs in this).

This is a great casual zip up. I have worn it a lot since I got it and it is going to be perfect for fall weather. I usually wear a large so that is what i ordered and it is slightly big. Even though it is slightly big I love it, so comfy and gives that extra layer for breezy or cool days. I will definately be getting another one, maybe lined next time.

I had to take this shirt back. I'm usually a medium and wear size 8 pants. This was very big in the stomach area and around the waste. It was deceiving, made me look a little wider than I really am.

I bought this shirt/jacket as well as the red waffle Henley to wear underneath as the picture shows. Henley fits great. The plaid shirt/ jacket fits big. I would send it back for a smaller size, but there isn't a medium and I don't want to pay the shipping to exchange. I love 5he look and the plaid colors.
