I bought this shirt in two colors. Love the relaxed fit and the cut. Bought in petite (thank you for petite options) - Perfect length, perfect arm length, and love the zipper. Perfect for fall outdoor activities. The zipper on the one shirt is tricky, hard to connect at the bottom. But no big deal.

True to size in shoulder. A bit short in waist length . Fabric is very soft and comforting. Pockets are stupendous. Great with a T shirt and jeans.

Love this shirt and the colors of the Angus and Princess Mary plaids. I had no idea how nice the zipper would be compared to the button-down ones. My only complaint is that this didn't come in a slimmer fit version.

I love it, It is comfortable and the petite size is true to all other LL Bean tops I have purchased. The only issue I have with this item is it is difficult hooking the zipper together at the bottom.

I find the sleeves are tight. I can only wear it with a sleeveless tank, otherwise I like it.

Seam at shoulder separating. Appears to have been improperly sewn.

This is a great non fleece addition to my layering choices. The fit is spot on for layering until you come to the sleeves, I have to unbutton the cuffs to fit over my small hands and the left sleeve rides up on my smart watch as well.

This was so soft and comfy. Since I plan to wear turtlenecks under this, I did order a petite medium as I prefer a looser fit. It was perfect. The only reason for 4 stars and my only disappointment was the plaids at side seams did not match. I would think at this price point that might have been a standard. I will definitely plan to order another color.

I originally purchased a Petite Small in Scotch Plaid. When I tried it on the body was short and boxy. There was enough room for a pregnant belly and the arms were short, but oddly wide. The Color was very dark and did not go well with my skin tone. I returned and reordered a small regular in the black and white plaid. The arms are still way too wide and short, but the overall fit is better. The color is great too. In terms of material I would rate this a 10. The hoodie is light and soft but very warm.

This shirt would have been abundantly big enough, loose and boxy everywhere but the shoulders/armpit/sleeve. Just not enough room for layering and this will be a great layering shirt! Sent back for the 3x but I'll probably swim in everything not related to armpits! Liked it well enough to try it again.

I love the soft flannel, and the POCKETS! I am not fond of hoods, and really wish there was a hoodless version. The zipper is stiff for the weight of the fabric, and does curl some. I don't really care about that because I wear this shirt for warmth and pockets, but a snap placket would lie much smoother (like the fleece lined, no hood version of this shirt).

The shirt is large for me, but that is how I wanted it to fit, with a light weight down vest under. I wish it came in subtler plaids, or even something else besides plaid. Otherwise I am happy with it.

Happy to find this in petite size !! Imagine my joy to find something in my Smith Clan Tartan! Fit's to size although very generous in arm length for a petite size as we who need that size typically have shorter arms. It's comfy and they always wash well as this is my 5th flannel hoodie!

This is my first LL Bean purchase probably in decades. I had been eyeing this hoodie in Rob Roy (I think that's what they call the black and red check) for awhile and all the size S sold out except in Tall. I'm long-waisted so the small Tall fit worked well. The sleeve length is perfect for me. The colors and style are better than expected. Room to layer a sweater underneath. However, I have to say that for the price paid, I was (as at least one other reviewer has indicated) hugely disappointed that after the first wash (followed directions on the label) BEFORE my first wear, there was significant and obvious pilling on both sleeves. Need to improve on material quality. It's warm, cute and fits well so will keep.

I ordered the jacket in a petite. It does hit below my hips. There is not a tie string to pull, so you can make the jacket tight at the bottom. It is very soft and comfortable. Even though it's just a smidge too long I still really like it. I am sure when we get back to going to sporting events I will like that it's a bit long, so when I sit down I am covered.

Soft, inside pockets, lovely bright color. I normally wear large for a slightly loose fit, especially for outerwear. After reading reviews, opted to try both L and XL for best fit for layers. Out of the package, XL was bit too big, but the L fit perfectly as a shirt, and at 100% cotton, did expect some shrinkage even with cold water. So went with XL. Wore it multiple times alone, with a puffy vest or under light jacket and was perfect for walking the dogs and working from home on chilly mornings. True to size until it needed a wash. Cold water, hung to dry. Still shrunk nearly a full size. Glad I got the XL, but looser fit drastically diminished. Still works, still soft. Just lost the desired extra length in body, sleeves and bit in the much needed chest area. Hence the 4. Disappointed in the amount of shrinkage for the price.

After reading the reviews, I purchased both the Medium and the Large to try on at home. I normally wear a large with LLBean. The Large was perfect in the sleeves, but VERY large in the body -- much too large. The Medium fits perfectly, although sleeves are about 1/2 inch shorter than I would like. I've decided to keep the Medium. I can always roll up the sleeves. Hoping no shrinkage though!

I love anything flannel and I love this jacket..... however.... the fact that it is shorter in the back is not flattering. It is warm and soft and perfect weight for Southern winters. Great layering piece!

Ok I LOVE this hoodie and and the material, colors, texture, pockets, everything. So cute. Except it's MASSIVE. I could fit 2 of me in here. I plan to exchange it for an xs. Love it other than that.

I really liked the material and color of this top, but it was much too large for me in the body. I typically wear a medium or a large, but the medium was quite boxy. I would suggest sizing down one or two sizes on this one.

I loved the material and colors in this top, but it runs very large, especially in the width. I bought it for a relative and had to return it because it was much too big. Nice in every other way, but size down if you purchase it and think about the length. The length seemed normal but didn't align with the width of the body.
