I purchased this flannel hoodie in a Small, Grey Stewart. The sizing is generous and I probably could have worn the XS, but I like the little extra room for T Necks and even a sweater. I am 5'6", 136 lbs and usually wear an 8. The Grey Stewart color is just lovely and perfect for grey-haired me.

The fit is great, the flannel is cozy. Looks great, feels great...and it's a zip up hoodie!! Hooray!

Soft, comfortable, attractive hoodie! Not heavy, which I love! Might consider downsizing one if you want more shape & less bulk. It's still plenty big for some layering. Personally I would have liked a bit more length as I was hoping I could wear it with leggings, but at 5'7" it's just a few inches shy of covering enough. Will still look great with slim jeans & boots!

Much better than expected--the fabric is soft and warm, the seams (and zipper) are finished with twill tape, there are plenty and large pockets, the zipper works flawlessly.... I am quite pleased! Good fit--relaxed and roomy, yet not sloppy.

Very nice lounging top, but it looks great for town too. Even though it is a relaxed fit, it does not look sloppy.

I ordered this hoodie for myself and one for both of my daughters. We all love it!! The flannel is the best quality, heavyweight, and the zipper and leather pull on the zipper are also very nice. It is roomy and has nice deep pockets. I am 5'5" and 150 lbs and ordered the XL because I like things oversized. Very true to size! Everyone should have one!

This is one of the best Flannel shirts I've purchased. The plaid matches throughout the garment and it's soft and comfortable. Deep pockets too. I've washed it twice so far and it has held its' shape. No shrinkage either. If you are looking for a fitted garment then you might not be happy with this shirt. Because of the loose cut, it layers well and I foresee wearing this shirt all through the fall.

I have not worn it yet but the quality is superb!. The fitting is perfect. I hope it stays that way after washing.

Exactly what I was looking for. It is true to size with room to layer.Very soft, and comfortable. I am 5'4, 158pds. I ordered the large which was perfect.

I love this hoodie, and it is a great surprise. The arms are long enough, it's very soft, and the pockets are perfectly placed. I love the interior pockets for poking my phone and the dog walking paraphernalia in. It fits loose, but that's the way I want it because I wear it as a jacket. I wash it in cold water and put it on a low dryer heat setting for just a few minutes. I hang it to finish drying because I'm sure it would shrink. I ordered the red/gray and it's really pretty for fall. Nice job, LL Bean!

I love this flannel hoodie. It's so soft. I know I'll be wearing it often around the house and on my fall walks. I can't recommend it enough. Thinking about getting a second one.

I have purchased 2 of these! I love them. I have worn them all seasons. As a jacket on summer nights, or an extra layer in the fall or instead of a sweater in the winter. I'm finding I'm disappointed when it's too warm to wear mine! Thick beautiful flannel plaids. Fit is comfortable and easy. Pockets just the right place and size! The zipper sturdy with a nice leather tab. Washes like a dream, no shrinkage after many washes. I can't think of one thing I don't like about them. If your considering buying one of these, don't hesitate, you will not be disappointed. In fact I think you will love it! Grab your favorite plaid before they sell out!

I bought this to take to Colorado during late August, early September this year and it was just the perfect little cover-up when the temps started to dip in the afternoon. I wore it just about every day and was very pleased with the weight, color and softness of this hoodie. I had gifted one to my son last year and I admit to coveting his until I decided to get one of my own. I'm so glad I did. I know I'll wear it often!

This flannel shirt jacket fits like a glove and the flannel is so soft. It's my new happy flannel jacket. I love LL Bean's new trademark color, Bean of Freeport Hunting because it has a subtle brightness. I'm 5'4", size 14, and went with the large. The flannel is soft, the pockets are handy, and it fits comfortably. I will pair it with a new pair of true shape denim jeans and a turtleneck. I'm ready, Autumn.

This by far is one of my favorites!! Quality all the way. Lighter weight but that's totally what I love!!

Love this shirt. Or should I say jacket? Worn either way it is great. Good weight and good fit. Not everyone wants form fitting clothing all of the time and the straight cut is welcome. Easy to wear. The only thing that would make it even better would be if it also came in some solid colors..

I bought this shirt for an Alaskan cruise, and it was perfect! The flannel is soft and substantial, and it's perfect for layering. The pocket detailing is great. Overall, it's a warm, comfortable, functional, and beautiful shirt. Can't wait for cooler weather so I can wear it at home in Minnesota!

Love love love the fit. It is comfortable and loose but not so loose you get swallowed in it. Great arm and shoulder room for moving. I will definitely be ordering another color. Flannel is perfect weight for me because I live in the south. Thank you ll bean for an awesome shirt/jacket.

LL Bean has the best flannel fabric. I have several of the shirts and am very pleased. They always wash well and look nice. It's great that there are so many color choices. Please don't change this flannel shirt!

I bought this for my daughter who loves it so much she has been wearing it as a swimsuit cover up because she doesn't want to wait for the cooler weather -- will definitely be getting her another color for Christmas!

I just received the Scotch Plaid Zip Hoodie. I am 5'4'' and 136 lbs. I ordered a small (usually wear a medium) after reading some of the reviews and I'm glad I went with the smaller size. It's perfect, and still has enough room to layer underneath. I haven't washed it yet, but I plan on doing it gently, and putting it in the dryer for a short time. I love the Grey Stewart color, it's a nice medium gray, with some subtle green, and the red is close to cranberry, which I like. I have a couple shirts of that cranberry color which will look really good under it.

Some of the negative reviews of this shirt, were actually positive reviews for me. I love the weight, which I would call medium, I disagree with it being a light weight flannel. I like a boxy fit, vs. fitted fit, so I love the fit. Colors are bright and vivid. I am 5'1" and weigh 100lbs. I ordered two different colors in a petite small and the fit is perfect, with a bit of room to spare IF they shrink. I never put flannel in the dryer, I hang it to dry. From photos, I thought the zipper was 3/4 in length, but it zips all the way up the front, which is better. I am very pleased with my order!
