I love this flannel so much. It's the perfect fit and the material isn't really heavy which I really like. I bought it in two colors because I love it so much, and I'm thinking about buying a third.

I bought three of these ( different colors!) - assumed they would be what I usually find: very thin flimsy flannel, plaid stripes unmatched, etc.. What a surprise!! These are thick, substantial flannel, very soft, stripes are properly matched. Much higher quality than I had hoped for. I am buying them for my daughter and daughter-in-law for christmas. Very pleased!

This is a great flannel that can be used as a shirt or light weight jacket. I have worn this shirt several times. It comes out of the wash great! I like the relaxed fit of the garment. Not fitted for those of us who might have a bit of a tummy as we age.

This shirt is the perfect light sweatshirt for the fall! It's lightweight but keeps you comfortably warm. Plus, the patterns are so beautiful and classic you can't go wrong!

I love flannel and this is the best! Soft inside and out just like flannel is supposed to be. Love the leather zipper pull and other little details. I will be using this as a light weight jacket outside now that the weather is cooling down as well as an extra layer inside. Great for layering and soft enough to wear to bed!

My scotch plaid flannel arrived just in time for our Wyoming Fall. I ordered the zip hoodie in Dress Gordan and have received compliments each time I've worn it. I'm 5'7", 130 lbs and got the small. Perfect sizing for me, with room to layer, not too bulky, not too small. Love Love Love this hoodie! So much that I ordered another in Stewart Victoria. Thanks LL Bean for your amazing scotch flannel! I don't want to take it off.

I love this shirt. Great for fall or layering in winter. Washes great and the quality and construction are what I expect from L.L. Bean. Wish it came in solid colors...I've already ordered a second shirt.

This shirt is awesome! 100% on brand quality that we all know and love from LL Bean. The fit is perfect, the fabric is soft & high quality, and the leather detailing takes it to the next level. The first time I wore it, my coworker immediately went online and bought the same one. I always get compliments every time I wear it.

I absolutely LOVE this shirt! I love LLBean Scotch Plaid to begin with, as it is a hearty flannel. I have two regular flannel shirts and love them, but I am always cold including my head. I use this as a jacket over a layer (or two), or as a cover up when I crawl into bed (my husband likes the air on high...burr). It is soft enough for bed, but looks dressy enough for casual Friday work. The best part is the sleeves are long enough even after washing! The zipper is sturdy and the pockets, although not big enough for my phone, can handle keys, money and lip balm all in one. It is not a fitted shirt but has more of a straight cut, loose enough to slide down over the hips. Runs true to size for relaxed fit (for reference I got the small and I wear a size 6 usually) This is going on my Christmas list in another color!

This top is very roomy, so I found that going down a size still allowed for layering room. The flannel itself is exceptional, far exceeding the weight of department store types, not to mention its supreme softness. The hoodie styles with the leather pull tab on the zipper makes this a fun addition to any casual fall and winter wardrobe!

This is a great flannel hoodie. Maybe runs a little large. I wear a medium top and, after reading other reviews, decided to order this in medium. Even though I wore tops under it the fit was still roomy enough to feel comfortable.

I love how this shirt looks on me. Makes me happy that fall is here. It fits just as I expected by the description. I ordered my usual size as I plan to wear another shirt under it. Very nice quality with the plaids matching. Really appreciate that.

This is a very comfortable lightweight jacket. Cozy, soft flannel, and true to size. I like that it has pockets both inside and out. Since I live in SoCal, it is still a bit warm to wear at the moment, but I expect it will be the perfect jacket for the Fall weather here. I may be buying another pattern in this style to wear with other colors.

I had been wanting a flannel shirt. This is a really nice one, and I am happy with it.

I have only worn it once as it is still a bit warm where I live. I love the colour and it is soft and snuggly. I would not hesitate to buy it again.

Since I have Gordon Setters, and LOVE full zip overshirts, when I saw this shirt, offered in a Dress Gordon plaid, I just HAD to buy it. It is even better than I'd expected, full-sized, even in a small, as advertised, soft and comfy, with lovely touches like the leather pull on the zipper and binding inside the hem. I wore it to an event, and two people who were there have since purchased it as well. Bravo to you, but no surprise!

I have four ( five if you add the button up spring version)and they are worn from the first hint of cool weather until late spring. They are great for warm weather to have if you are going into an air conditioned restaurant. I have bought several for gifts also. It is the most versatile piece of clothing I have. Even with my Boy Scout uniform. Still holding out for one in "Princess Mary pattern" I wear mine over tee shirts and of course they look great with jeans. This crosses all generations and I am often asked where I bought them.

I love the fit and feel of this shirt; it'll be a lightweight top layer for me. I'm outdoorsy-Pacific NW but still like to look put-together. I ordered the Colquhoun plaid thinking it had turquoise in it, but the color is much darker in "in person" than in the picture. However, it coordinates perfectly with my LLBean Dark Teal LS Pima Tee, so I'm happy.

I love this shirt! I don't wear shirts with buttons so generally haven't worn flannel shirts over the years. But this one, a flannel hoodie with a zipper, is terrific! I bought a medium and it's roomy enough to wear a t=shirt under. It's very well made and I plan on ordering at least one more in a different color. You won't be disappointed if you buy this shirt.

I own three of these fabulous shirt jackets and absolutely love the softness, the hood, the zip front, and the deep pockets. With that said, two of the shirts -- the Black Watch and the Colquhoun -- have perfectly matched plaids at the front and side seams, and one -- the Bean of Freeport Hunting -- is a crazy mess. I may return it because the mismatched plaid does not look like a quality item.

I purchased this item as a "try" item. Well, I tried it on, fell in love with the softness of the flannel, and immediately ordered another one! I guess that means I loved it!

my friends wonder if I gave away all my other clothes because it's what I always grab. It's soft and comfortable, washes and dries beautifully, and is perfect for layering-- over tees or sweaters and under jackets or vests.
