This sweater fleece pullover is just a dream. Unbelievably warm, but with a sweater outer that is just as suitable and appropriate in the office as it is useful on the trail. The Pewter color is beautiful and I love the retro Katahdin logo. I've had a hard time getting the fit right on this one, however. The Misses XS was too baggy, but when I sized down to the XXS, I found it to be a little more snug in the chest than I was comfortable with. I may try a Youth XL and see if that works better ... this pullover is just too great to not have in my closet!

I saw this online and had been looking for a similar pullover. The price was right so I tried it. I ended up trying it on quickly in the store and buying it in a small, which is my normal size, but had to return it because I found the sleeves to be too short. I exchanged it for a medium and the sleeves are a much better length for me, but the mid section is a little more baggy/loose than I would prefer. I kept the medium because I really liked the sweater, it's super warm and comfortable, but would like it better in a smaller size with slightly longer sleeves! For reference, I am 5'6" and 138 lbs. I would definitely still recommend this product.

I was considering a similar item from a different brand, but this was a better price & I got it on sale. It's ok, but the arms are a bit short for me. I also have the Sweater Fleece Jacket, which I prefer over this pullover. I ordered the bright sapphire & I do love the color!

I should have bought this sooner! I've been eyeing it for a year now, and after a slight meltdown two days ago about not having a warm enough sweater, I hopped online and bought this. I paid extra for shipping, and it came a day earlier than expected. The inside fleece is so soft and cozy. The outside feels like it's sturdy enough to withstand outdoor adventures. My only complaint is that the pocket sags a little even when I put my phone in it. That is the only reason why I gave it 4 stars. I will definitely be purchasing one in another color soon.

This is a great fleece to add to your winter wardrobe. It's something you can throw on over a t-shirt or long sleeve to keep you warm on those cold winter days. Great fleece that will last for a long time. True to size.

I could not wait for its arrival but, once on it seems very snug in the shoulders & the arms seem a bit too short. I am debating returning or exchanging for a men's large but worry it won't be flattering.

I live in Portland, OR, where we have had some unusually cold weather this year. The sweater fleece is great! Very warm- sometimes too warm when the weather is normal. The fabric and cut are a little more restricting than regular fleece, but the styling is pleasant, colors are nice. I am 5'8", and 165 lbs. The large fit just fine. That said, I am really missing the comfort fleece! It was less expensive, and a better weight for our climate, was movement-friendly and looked good in casual settings.

I have these sweater fleece products in the jacket, coat, and pullover styles. The pullover style is the most versatile in that (once I removed all of the logos) it can pass to wear to work. I have the pullover in black and pewter because they do not have a contrasting trim (which I think makes it more casual). This item can be (somewhat) dressed up and dressed down, and keeps me warm during the winter.
I would give this 5 stars, but the liberal use of logos (3 of them) is over the top. (I removed them with a seam ripper.)

I bought this in Kelp Green. Love the color. I'm somewhere inbetween a size Small and Medium (usually small) in most LLBean tops. I bought the medium because I read in some of the reviews that it's a little snug, and I'm glad I did. (However, I can wear the sweater fleece vest in a small.) For reference, I'm 5' 126 lb. The pullover is a bit itchy for me when worn next to my skin, but I don't anticipate a problem as long as I wear something between my skin and the pullover, like one of Bean's heat keepers.

I received the dark grey Fleece as a gift. I usually wear a medium, but need a large in this particular style. I gave it 4 stars because the collar doesn't lay flat.

Purchased this item in size large, because LLBean clothes tend to run a little bit bigger than normal - I had to return it because it was too small. The extra large fits, but it is a bit more fitted than the picture shows. Overall, it is nice and warm and I do like it even though the teal color I originally purchased was not available in XL

the item is very warm and comfortable to wear. the color I ordered was blue green and I thought it looked more blue in the picture. I don't generally wear things this green, but I have worn it two times since it got so cold hear and found it very warm.

I love the material, the color, the shape, but I misjudged the sizing when ordering sight unseen. I wanted a reasonably priced alternative to similar Patagonia styles. This fits the bill for the most part. My measurements fall between XS and S per the sizing chart. I went with XS because I wanted a closer fit. The pullover fits great around the hips, waist, and arms; however, the shoulders are too narrow. My shoulders are somewhat broad though. If you are waffling between sizes, I'd size up.

I purchased this sweater about two weeks ago and so far so good. I have washed it once without any issues of shrinkage or loose hems. I gave it four stars because the sizing can be tricky. I actually went to an LLbean store to purchase the sweater. I typically wear a medium but I was having a hard time choosing between the medium and the small. The medium was a little more roomy and the small was more form fitting. I asked for assistance from one of the sales women on the floor. She graciously and kindly helped to determine which size looked best. I ended up purchasing the small. The small is a bit more tight in terms of getting the sweater on and off but not impossible. I am overall pleased with my purchase.

This garment truly has the appearance of a sweater on the outside with the cozy, soft feeling of a fleece on the inside. However, I was surprised by the snug fit as compared to the other LL Bean fleece garments. This garment fits well with a light layer, but I don't now how well it will work once I add an additional base layer this winter. I own MANY options & colors of the comfort fleece garments, and they are all sized to easily allow multiple layers underneath. I work in a construction office that is quite cold during the winter, and I have to wear multiple layers to keep warm. (light base layer, turtleneck or flannel, and fleece) I do really like the big "kangaroo" pocket which I think will help keep my hands warm this winter.
Overall I really like the appearance of the garment, and I may consider trying the full-zip option which may be easier to get on over multiple layers.

Looks great. Runs small. If used for layering, I recommend going up a size or even 2, depending on what wearing underneath. A T-shirt is the most I will be able to wear, and I ordered my usual size

I bought this because I like its retro vibe. I actually love the classic logo on the chest. It is definitely cozy which is what I was going for. I wish it was a little more fitted, but I guess that is LL Bean for you. I am 5'7 and 116 lbs and the XS fits but is a little roomy.

I love this beautiful pullover, got it in the olive green color and it goes with everything. I would wear it all the time except it is HOT to wear in a normal office setting. I go outside a lot with my work and it is perfect outdoors if it is 50F or less. I normally do not get hot and have other fleeces I can wear indoors all day, so I guess it must just be exceptionally thick or less breathable than others. Still, love it and will wear it outside all fall and winter. Might not need another layer!

Overall good quality. it is slightly fitted. I would prefer one more snap so that putting it on over your head was a little easier.

This fleece pullover is very warm and comfortable. The outside looks and feels like a knitted sweater but the inside is fuzzy and soft. It fit true to size. I did have a problem with the gray fabric that has the snaps. Mine is starting to become a little discolored. I think it is from the oils of my skin. This doesn't normally happen to me so I was disappointed. I recommend being careful with that gray fabric.

Love the slightly longer length: body length hits just above mid hip and sleeves cover the wrists. I'm 5'6" & 130 pounds. Medium was roomy enough to fit over button down shirts but not too bulky. Shoulders are nicely tailored, square. Great quality. I ranked 4 rather than 5 because of two things. 1) 1/4 zip could be longer. A collared shirt feels cramped around the neck and I can't get the layered look I desire. 2) The LLBean label on the front is like a huge name tag. AWFUL. But! I easily (carefully) removed it with a small blade cutting each stitch. No damage was done to the item. So I would recommend!

This is a warm pullover with flannel lined pockets. Very cozy. Love the color and style. The sleeves are a bit short but my arms are short so that works out fine for me.

I like this, but I would caution that if you want something roomy, you should size up. It's thicker material, and very warm.
