This is a very nice, thick fleece but it is a little shorter and form fitting than other items of the same size and fit. It has a high quality look and feel and is perfect for cool fall days/nights. Am keeping and hope it stretches out a bit with wearing a few times.

I followed the advice of many reviewers and bought a size larger than my normal Small Petite. The Medium was too big and baggy even with a shirt underneath. I will return for a size smaller.

I absolutely love this pullover fleece but I have one issue with it. The giant pocket in the front is not tacked down at the top so if you put things in the pocket like your phone is dips below the hem line and you can see it. I'm going to have to tack it down or add a strip of fabric and sew it down at the seam across the chest. I'm surprised this was missed during fittings. I'm normally a medium but I wanted it to be super cozy so I sized up and it fit my shoulders better this way. The coziest pullover I've owned!

LOVE this sweater but dislike how short the body and arms are, personal preference is it to be a tad longer

I have a sweater fleece jacket and liked it (after I got used to the fitted style)so thought I would get a pullover. It is beautiful but it was fitted and more difficult to pul over my head-very close fitting, so I sent it back. I had ordered a large and usually wear that size. I would like to get a vest but they are only in the men's at present, so may order one of those.

Wicked comfortable and warm! Does fit big for an xs. I would order smaller than you normally do. Great quality.

Looks & fits great. I'm a 2x and this style is very slimming. The fabric is very thick & a bit too warm for me most of the time. I do love the look, though.

This is the first sweater fleece I have purchased. It is very warm and comfy especially with a cotton turtleneck underneath. I especially like the slightly longer length as compared to my old fleece pullovers. If I could change one thing it would be to have a slightly larger opening at the top.

Overall, love this pullover. My only complaint would be the kangaroo pocket isn't sewn in on the top on the inside, only the sides so when you put something a little heavy, like a phone, it sags and you can see it coming out from the bottom. However does not deter from how warm and nice it is.

I really like the fit and overall look. I'm disappointed that during first wearing, the sweater started pilling where the sleeve touches the hip. For the price and the make I would expect much higher quality.

This is a little tight getting it on and off, but once on, it fits very well and is very comfortable. Warm and cozy!

This is a great staple for anyone's wardrobe. I own it in 'topsail' and get compliments on it when I wear it and I feel that it always looks sharp. The fleece on the inside is incredibly soft and the fit is nice, with room for layering. My only complaint is the kangaroo pocket- what was the design team thinking? It is basically useless because the moment you put anything in it with a little bit of weight, the lining from the pocket hangs down past the bottom of the fleece. If you carry one car key or a piece of paper you could use it, but a cell phone- forget it. LL bean- please redesign the pocket issue and this would be a five star product!

Sweaterfleece are beautiful garments. When I finally got the XSmall on my body (with the help of my husband) it looked great but I was restricted. Couldn't lift my arms to type without it pulling on me. Taking it off by myself was impossible and hilarious. There is no give to these seams whatsoever. I sent it back and got Small and still need help getting it off but it looks good and I can move around better. I wish the seams had some elastic in them. I wear an XXSmall in the fleece lined flannel and a small in sweaterfleece if that helps anyone. It is crazy warm. I have cream and sunset pink.

I loved this jacket. It is soft and warm and the color is beautiful (Bright sapphire). However, I may be chunky and have to buy a 1X but I do not have the shoulders of a linebacker. The shoulder seems on this jacket fall halfway to my elbows. That sewing detail then leaves excess fabric above my chest which bunches. I had to return it. Would I buy this jacket again? Most definitely, but I would wait until I lost some weight- like that's gonna happen- so I could buy a smaller size and hope the shoulders were more in line with my body type.

This is perfect for wearing as a layering piece in cold weather. I usually order mediums in other items, but this is very fitted to the body and I wish I had ordered a large. Ok to wear if I'm out walking in the freezing cold, but not comfortable for lounging around the house, which is part of the reason I purchased it. Since I've already washed it I can't return it. Good quality, but in my opinion a little $$$ for what you are getting.

I really like this top and it is very warm. It doesn't "give" much and I have to take off my eyeglasses and struggle to get it on and off. My daughter has one also and she agrees that it is hard to get on and off as well.

Love this top for a cold winter day. But it would have to be "cold". I found if the temp. is 40-50's it's too warm. I like the finished hem but would not buy one for my husband because he is long wasted, so this shirt would not fit him properly. Quality is excellent and so is the fit. I'm wearing it right now. :-)

Pullover itself was well fitting, nice color, however person receiving gift didn't like the stand up collar; no problem though, returned to nearest store for another item

As the title states, this will shrink in the wash. I exchanged my normal petite-small size for a petite-medium. I own two (sailcloth & sapphire). There is a fit size between the two mediums. As noted in some reviews, these fleece sweaters (which do not look like fleece) do not have a stretchy fabric so pulling them over your head means you must think of it as no-stretch sweater. I don't find that a problem and this more than compensates for the sweater's warmth and comfort. Here is my MAJOR Bean complaint: When I order a solid color, I want the trim color is be very similar/same. I dislike black or grey trim used on so many of Bean's products. I feel it detracts from the garment and for those of us with a pale complexion, it does not bode well at all. Compare the "sailcloth" color with the others. The "sailcloth" looks smart (especially without the logo which I carefully removed) whereas the others with the dark trim do not look as refined. I want to look and feel feminine. I do love the comfort. For our palefaces, I hope this is a winter repeat next year with lighter colors with a similar/same color binding.

I ordered this for myself for Christmas and I love it! It is very warm and cozy, and would be perfect on its own on a nice fall/spring day, or as a indoor layer in the winter. I typically wear a small in LL Bean tops and this one fits well, actually a little roomy, which is perfect for layering. I would say it is particularly roomy around the middle, and narrower at the shoulders and bottom. The only gripes I have with it are the kangaroo pocket- it needs to be stitched inside to ensure it doesn't droop down, and the snaps would be classier if they were metal instead of plastic. Other than those two minor things it is a great top and I can see myself wearing it a ton!

Very warm, soft and comfortable sweater. Fit is a little on the snug side but looks wonderful. Am thinking of ordering a navy one also.

I bought this sweater last fall in bright sapphire. The color is really beautiful. It is truly warm and cozy. Personally, I feel like it could be looser on me considering Bean smalls usually fit me pretty comfortably and this type of garment is meant to be layered over something. I love this sweater and am so happy I have it, but might get more use out of it if it were bigger or had an extra button at the chest, making it easier to pull on and off.

I love the old style polar fleece pullovers, but I didn't like the new knitted fabric. I hope LLBean will go back to the original style.

I have one in medium (slim fit) and one in large (roomy fit). I prefer the roomier fit so I can get a few layers under it and enjoy the warmth. Fits well, if kind of boxy (but hey, isn't that what we want from it?). Washes well. Shrinks a bit (so the medium went from a bit roomy to slim fit).

Great sweater, nice color (sailcloth), neat, one problem. The side pockets connect like a pouch inside. So too much fabric bunches and shifts around. The fabric of the pockets actually hangs down and sticks out a few inches at the bottom front hem. It's therefore impossible to wear. Anyone handy with a needle could probably easily fix it. I can only guess this is some fluke or goof with the sweater I received.
