Like another reviewer, I have been wearing this pullover non-stop since I got it. I originally ordered it in pewter, loved that one so much that I ordered another pewter to put away for the inevitable day when the first one wears out or gets damaged, then ordered the purple sunset and dark charcoal heather colors as well. I check here every day to see if more colors have been added (please?!) I personally would love it in tan. This pullover is warm and comfortable and definitely a step up from fleece. I have two dogs and two cats and regular fleece attracts their fur like a magnet. I don't have that problem with this item. I personally love the retro LL Bean label on the chest. I hope it stays on future offerings. Please keep this item in the catalog forever - in more colors!

I bought this shirt in the fall and wore it through that light jacket period in the autumn. It always looked great and kept me comfortably warm. As more wintry weather approached, I bought a second one. These pullovers make for a great layer when spending time outdoors. The fit is flattering, and they wash well.

This pullover is a very great coat for fall and early winter. The colors available are great. The fit of this coat is also fantastic because it allows room for layering.

I received this fleece about a week ago and have basically been wearing it ever since. To the point where a colleague asked--somewhat pointedly--"Did you wear that yesterday?" I should probably get a second color. Anyway, I purchased this in the plum color and it is lovely. Furthermore, it is an exceptionally cozy and comfortable. My only qualm is that I wish it came in less-femme colors. Get it in hunter green or black (or both) and I'd buy another.

Was looking at buying this for myself for a while and finally went for it while doing some online Christmas shopping for Dad (got him the fleece-lined flannel, which I also have and love). Also had a 20% off coupon, which made the decision easier. Was torn between the grey and purple sunset color, ended up getting the purple and love it! It's soft on the inside and super comfy. Perfect to keep warm outside during the fall/spring or inside/layering during the winter months. This also is a great fit. I'm 5'0" and 130 lbs. and the small fits great. Sleeves aren't too long, which is always a problem with other clothes. Another great LL Bean product. There's a good chance I'll ask for the grey at some point in the near future.

Great weight, fabric, fit. Love to wear this indoors and keeps me warm when I translation outdoors for grilling or dog walk.

This is my second sweater of this style. I am always cold. This sweater is just wonderful, toasty warm, comfy and I just love it.

I've been struggling to buy this pullover (in mountain red# for months now. I finally was able to take advantage of a restock at the flagship store in Freeport. I was looking for something that would be warm, yet professional looking; comfy like fleece, but with a touch more sophistication, like a sweater to wear to my office. This hits the spot. Mine did have a slight odor upon arrival, but that dissipated with (1) wash; I suspect mine stunk less than others, as it was already unpacked/unpackaged from a store, rather than the warehouse. Additionally, this garment is true to size, for a ladies fitted item. Contrary to what others have said, I don't believe it runs small. If a contoured ladies fit doesn't appeal to you, you should size up or just avoid this style. The ladies fit lines of the top are what keep it from looking frumpy. I ordered it in my size and a size larger, because the reviews made me nervous, and I ended up keeping my size.

This pullover is amazing - ordered size M (5'7, 145). I actually bought the Men's one in Olive, size S because I loved that color too. It's so cozy and warm, it fits perfectly, and I love the big kangaroo pocket in front. I do agree with other users about the weird smell, but maybe it will recede when laundered. I don't even care about the smell though because I love the item so much. I do not like the dowdy women's colors that LL Bean produces sometimes, and that is why I went with the Olive in Men's for my second purchase. You will not be disappointed if you order this - they flew off the store shelves when I saw these in Sept - order fast or they will be sold out for sure!

When I saw the royal plum color I had to have this fleece. I initially ordered this in a medium from the catalog but didn't love the fit, so I exchanged it for a small in the store. It definitely runs large, although the shoulders are narrow across the top. I'm typically a small or medium in LL Bean depending on how much room I want for layering. I'm 5'3", 145 lbs, 36D and a former swimmer so finding items that fit my upper body without drowning my torso is tough. The small is nicely fitted and very flattering, with enough room to even fit a long sleeve under it. It's very warm and comfortable without feeling bulky. I will probably be buying another in a different color. As some others have said I noticed a faint chemical smell but nothing that wasn't covered up by my body spray and will hopefully wash out.

I have worn this a lot already. The feel is soft and warm, and the fit is perfect. My only suggestion would be that a less ostentatious logo be used or that it not be used at all.

This item was on back order but it was definitely worth the wait. I am so pleased with the fit, feel and construction of this garment. I look forward to wearing it many times.

Fit is great. Despite it's appearance, it looks slim when worn. Quality fabric. Nice, cool grey color. Goes on more easily over a silk T-neck than cotton blouse or T-neck. Would like more colors

Love this fleece. Warm, comfortable, soft, and cozy. Great for layering when hiking - love the roomy pouch. Looking forward to wearing it indoors this winter when the temperatures drop.

A warm and good fitting sweater. I wear it every day. I normally have trouble with fitted tops. Not this time. I wear a turtle neck under it and it still is roomy without it being sloppy.

This pullover is made of really nice material, non pilling, non shedding and fits great. Warm and cozy for those chilly fall days.

Hello! It's the 90's, and your mom wants her awesome fleece back. This sweater fleece is ON POINT. Even down to the awesome LL bean tag on the outside. The quality is excellent - comparable to the 200+ dollar sweater fleece by another popular brand, but much much cheaper. And actually? I think its even better quality. I got it in grey four days ago, and have worn it four days straight. I will be buying more when more colors are available. I really wish the men's neutral colors (rust, green) were also available for women. I just like neutrals. I am 5'10 and 140 pounds (size 4) and a medium fits me fine. It's a tad bit wide in the body area, but not so much that it looks bad. A small would have fit me better in the body, however, I am sure the arm length would have been too small. The arm length of a medium is perfect. Maybe eventually they will offer tall sizes in this amazing fleece. Oh, also, it DOES shrink a tad, even though polyester usually doesn't shrink. I was hoping it would shrink a little, so I washed mine on medium heat (not tumble dry like the tag says). Something to take into consideration if between sizes.

I absolutely love this sweater and have put other colors on my Christmas list. It is comfortable, adorable, and in my opinion, true to size and the "slightly fitted" cut is an accurate description. However, "slightly fitted" button-up shirts, I wear a size small, and found the size medium in this to be the fit I was looking for - room for a thinner layer underneath, but not baggy or sloppy. So, the recommendation to size up may not be a bad one, though I am usually a size medium in other brands. For reference, I am about 5'6'', 150 pounds.

I just got my plum fleece sweater along with the grey one. The grey one is made in Jordan and the Beautiful soft plum one is made in Vietnam. I love the quality and softness of the Plum one but the grey one I'm sending back because it is slightly scratchy but not too much. I prefer a solid color also and the grey one is more of a woven fabric. They both fit perfect. I am 5.7 170 lbs and they both fit loose but slightly fitted. It's a perfect sweater and I just now ordered the blue and the red one hoping they are made the same as the Plum.Also at 5,7 I have long arms and this sweater is a perfect fit in the arms. Absolutely NO smell to these sweater so the previous review must have got a lemon...Thank you LLBean for my comfy new wardrobe. P S the collar lays flat or as a turtle neck..

Love the snaps closing and pocket. Size is fine. Marl adds interest. A bit stiff but I am sure after a wash it will be fine.

What a warm, comfortable, and stylish top. I've purchased three of different colors. I hope LL Bean never stops making these!

What more can I say. It's a really soft pullover and great to wear this time of year when things are getting colder but you don't want to give in and put jackets on. Good quality so worth the price you are paying.

i am 5'4 and 120lbs and i tried both the s and xs. for me, the s almost fit, but was longer than i wanted, and a little loose. the xs was perfect, i can still wear layers under it, but it was the right length and fit. i use it for fall hiking, but also wear it around brooklyn ny

I normally wear PXS/PS/XS in LLBean clothes, and after trying sizes XS, S and M (thank you for easy returns/exchanges, LLBean!) I settled with size S because the XS the tips of the shoulders were sticking up, not sure why, maybe because they are narrower than normal.

This is a great sweater! So warm and cozy and perfect now that the weather is cooling off. Quality seems great....I wouldn't expect anything less from L.L Bean!
