Just what I was looking for in a fall pullover for taking walks on crisp fall days or to wear inside when the temperature dips below freezing. Was looking for something in a petite, but settled on this and it works. Runs true to size and the pockets are nice and roomy as well as warm. Fits snugly. I bought a small in the blue shade. Lovely. I weight 120 lbs and stand just over 5'2". Order up a size if you want to wear another heavy garment under it, but it's plenty warm with a long sleeved shirt. Plan to take this to Alaska in May.

This sweater is amazing. I require a lot of my clothes - stressing an overall need for utilitarian garments that can keep me comfortable, dry, and warm in the woods and on weekend camping/backpacking trips, and also follow me out into the real world and still look presentable. This sweater does all of those things. It's a little bit bulky when packed, so it's definitely a gratuitous warm layer if I pack it in a day pack, but it's also not prohibitively bulky. It's so soft, and has worn well - doesn't pill at all under the arms or where my pack rubs against it, which is a major pet peeve of mine! The color is gorgeous (royal plum) and hasn't faded with a few washes. The fit is pretty true to size, if a little large. I am a 5'4" curvy lady, and I ordered a large and it fits with enough room to pile a layer or two underneath and still be cozy, but it doesn't look baggy. The pocket is great too! Super soft on the inside, and seamless on the front, which looks a little nicer than the traditional kangaroo pocket.

LOVE this pullover! It is made out of great material, comfortable and fits perfect. I ordered a medium (I'm 5'5 and 130lb) and it fits just right.

I contemplated ordering this last year, but ended up not doing so. When I saw it back online I didn't hesitate and ordered the pewter color right away! I'm so happy I did. I ordered the medium, which fits perfectly, not too tight, still roomy without being super baggy. The material feels very nice and durable and the quality is amazing as always. I love that it has a vintage look to it. I can highly recommend this pullover and I would love to have one in another color!

I've been looking for a comfortable, warm, and stylish fleece for awhile and I'm thrilled to report that this fleece is it! I am 5ft 4in and weight 112lbs and the XS fits perfectly: it hits right on the waist and lands perfectly on the wrists with a comfortable fit. I can wear a t-shirt or light long-sleeve shirt underneath the fleece without feeling or looking bulky and it looks awesome with jeans or corduroys. Also, I threw it in the wash, let it air dry for a few hours, and I was good to go!

The weight and feel of this pullover is perfect for fall or winter. The deep pockets are a plus, and the cut is perfect for all sizes of women. I purchased a small and usually get an XS, and it fit nicely across the shoulders and hit just below my hips. It'll be great for really cold days outside to layer or wear under a light winter coat. Thank you LL Bean for a classic, comfortable piece that I want to wear all the time!

I am VERY pleased with this item! I had considered buying a similar product from another name brand that was almost double in price - so glad I found this one instead! I got the gray color and it looks great with everything. It is very soft and comfortable. Even though I live in the South and it has hardly been cold enough to wear it yet, I haven't been able to take it off. I am 5'8" and wear a size 12 jeans so I went with the XL and it is perfect - I will definitely be able to layer comfortably although I think a L would've been fine. Definitely recommend!

I put this pullover to the test at an outdoor evening event. I was wore this pullover for about 8 hours, 6 or so of them spent outdoors on a cool fall late afternoon and evening. The pullover, first of all, looked lovely on. It's comfortable to move in, but also flattering to my shape. It's breathable, so I didn't get overly warm when walking briskly. The inside is delightfully soft, while the outside looks like a very nice marled sweater. The double-layer of sweater and fleece also kept the wind out quite nicely. I remained comfortable for the entire evening and am so happy I bought this pullover! It's going to be my go-to fall staple. I typically wear a medium in LL Bean items, and ordered that size - it fit true to size and was comfortable over a long sleeved t-shirt as well.

I'm so impressed with this item! The soft fleece lining feels like a sweatshirt, but the woven exterior and cut look extremely flattering. Do yourself a favor and buy this now.

I love the style and fabric of this pullover. The fit is great and it can be layered for extra warmth. Great color, too- got it in "purple sunset"

I live in Arizona and it never gets super cold here but this pullover is going to be just perfect for the "winter" months! I want one in every color!

I just picked this up in my local store after admiring it online and it's absolutely perfect! I had originally wanted the same style from that brand that is more expensive that starts with a P - but I love supporting LL Bean so I was psyched to discover they had the same one! I tried both brands on and would pick bean's fleece again and again. Not sure what everyone's issue with the sizing is - it's slightly more fitted than their other jackets but that's ok. I wear an XS in the quilted riding jacket and a S in this fit perfectly! It's not too short and not too long - very flattering fit. I am 5'3 and 115-120lbs. I hope that mountain red becomes available again this season - I want more colors!!!

I absolutely adore this pullover & wish I had been quick enough to order one in the sold out light spruce color. (I ordered the light gray and am thrilled with it) I am VERY picky about the clothing I wear: it has to be comfortable, stylish, cut well & made from quality materials. This pullover meets all those criteria. It is also soft, warm and washes up nicely. Perfect for those cool Fall morning walks. IF I had to list a drawback, I would say that the sweater is a bit longer than my liking, but I don't think it would bother most people. Fantastic buy...I plan on buying another in a different color.

I'm so delighted with the sweater fleece pullover! I was looking for a sweatshirt alternative for our cold, rainy winters in the Pacific Northwest and this is perfect. It's heavy enough to wear alone but not bulky, so you can layer it if you'd like, and the sweater-like knit on the outside gives it a more polished look for running to the store or casual outings. The inside is soft and cozy. The cut is slightly fitted, so I found that a larger size worked best for me to allow for the opportunity to layer. Either way, it looks trim when on, unlike my sloppy hoodies! I bought my first one in the red, which is a beautiful color, and loved it so much that I've ordered the blue/purple and can't wait to receive it. So glad I gave this a try! It will be well-loved this winter!

Got my pullover last week and love it. I tried it on in the store first, to determine what size I needed. It is a bit fitted, so if you like sweaters larger to fit over bulky under layers, I would suggest sizing up. I like the longer length. I'm 5'9" and long waisted so this works for me. I purchased the mint green color and it's so pretty! For those of us that love sweaters but hate the maintenance of special washing instructions, this is the perfect combination, sweater appearance and fleece convenience.

I love this sweater. I can see myself wearing it everywhere. At home, errands, to work. The quality is superb. I too had looked at another brand that I also like but decided on this sweater. Could not be happier. The logo on the chest is very cute.

The color is great. I like my sweaters a little loose so I needed one size larger.

I bought this sweater in pewter and was not disappointed. It's perfectly soft and cozy inside with clean, flattering lines and a great heathered look. I'm also loving the vintage L.L.Bean label. Great purchase.

I have this sweater from LLBean and I have this sweater from another high end outdoor company...they call it the Better Sweater, but I can assure you that LLBeans is $30 less expensive, built better, fits more comfortably, and is made out of the exact same material--so who has the better sweater? This sweater is built to last, warm and cozy, affordable and looks great on. It is the perfect weekend wear for the northeast--looking great with slacks or jeans, and even layers well with a tank and denim skirt for chilly starts to the day. The fit is true to size. Thanks LLBean! This one is a keeper!

I've bought 3 out of the 4 colors. It's so warm and soft. If I could wear it everyday I would. I wish they'd make more colors!! :)

Soft and Cozy. I am 5'2" 115 and the XS is a perfect fit. I love the light gray color. It is great for layering. I can use in all seasons. Love it!!!
