I bought this sweater fleece for my mother. She loves it and can't wait to wear it when the weather gets colder. The outside is like a sweater and on the inside is a fleece lining. She's looking foward to wearing it by itself as a jacket. She couldn't be happier.

I'm 5'2" about 120 lbs and I usually order XS in bean shirts. This fleece is perfect! I may have even been able to order a small for a little extra room, but I like the way mine fits; I can still fit a layer or 2 underneath. My only suggestion is that L.L.Bean makes this cozy sweater into a vest!! That would be perfection. This is a great addition to my cold upper peninsula of MI winters!

I am 5'5" and 135 lbs., typically wearing a size medium. I bought this in 2 colors, both mediums and I would say they are very true to size with plenty of room for another layer or two underneath for extra warmth. They are styish and unlike fleece, do not pick up every pet hair in my house and that is HUGE if you want to get out the door without using a lint brush! The only downfall for me is the plastic snaps, painted metal would have been more durable as I hope to have these for many, many years.

I love this sweater, it is very warm, comfortable, and attractive looking compared to similar items from other brands. I am 102lbs 5'4" and bought a size XS, and it fits perfectly to my liking. A size XXS also fit, but was a tad bit too fitted as I wanted this sweater slightly looser. It fits very nicely (my favourite part!) and doesn't look boxy. After many washes, it has a nice worn look to it, hasn't faded or changed size/shape. I only wish there were different colours! As a redhead I love earthy tones that go well with my hair colour. Unfortunately, there are no earthy tones, but I bought the Purple Sunset which looks more blue. Definitely considering buying another in the Dark Charcoal Heather.

I love this pullover so much I have purchased it in three colors and I wear one two-three times a week. Just order up a size to keep it from being too snug.

Perfect Sweater or fleece, can be dressed down or dressed up, warm, cozy and comfortable, you look great and feel great wearing it.

I live in Chicago and while this has not been a polar vortex winter yet, i still get very cold all the time due to having lost 40-42 lbs in the last few years and down to ~128 lbs now. This is the absolute best sweater or fleece I have ever worn in my life, even for the full price I paid. I am 5'3", 128 lbs and the small fits like a glove with a thin full sleeved layer under it. The cuff keeps out the cold without being constricting around your wrist, the shape is slimming and makes you look dignified despite being pretty thick. The pocket placement is perfect for hand warming or for keeping that cell phone or kleenex handy for perennially runny noses like mine in the winter. I initially bought the purple sunset. The color is great, neutral, calm and goes with anything. I also looked at the red in-store. It is dull and not as vibrant as seen in the picture here. The plum looks great but I decided against it as it goes better with blacks and light jeans and not as versatile. I have just ordered the blue green that i managed to track down to one store that had it in stock somewhere in MA. But i looked at it in store and the color is very pretty and neutral and should go with virtually any jeans you could throw at it. The dark gray is beautiful and much prettier and more impressive than you can see in the picture here and had it been available in my size I would have picked it up at once. I have never seen anything as beautiful in LL Bean. In terms of upper body fit, I am a 38d and it fits great. The snaps are very high quality and i can get away with fastening just one for a casual look and that keeps me plenty warm. The label doesn't bother me as it gives the piece character. The collar does not lay flat but this is a plus for me as it keeps my neck pretty warm which I love. The gray piping gives it a very distinguished look and overall this is one of the best pieces I have ever bought at Bean and I buy a lot. Buy without hesitation, you will be happy you did as you revel in warmth and style all winter long.

I bought this pullover right before the big snow storm hit this year in NY. It kept me very warm while shoveling the driveway and going out on those cold, chilly days where you can feel the wind down to your bones. This is now my go to sweater. Will end up getting this as a gift for family members next Christmas.

Absolutely love this pullover, I wear it to coach, when I'm walking to class, and to ski (its the perfect middle layer). Super warm and comfortable, I bought the purplish color and am probably going to buy another one. The material is sturdy, but very soft and cozy. I am 5'6", 150lbs, with an athletic build, my back tends to be very broad from the training I do and swimming, my chest is 34DD and a Medium fit me perfectly!

Exactly what I was expecting! I've been eyeballing this for a while now and I'm so glad I ordered it. The lilac color is so pretty! I was nervous about sizing but I'm glad I went with my normal medium. They definitely run true to size but still feels comfortable to layer with. I'm 5'4, 135 pounds, and have a DD chest and the medium fit perfect. Thanks L.L. Bean!

My wife is always feeling cold in these winter months. She absolutely loves this fleece pullover. So much so that she ordered another one in a different color. Fit is excellent, washes well, and did I mention, it is the warmest piece of clothing she owns. Recommend highly!

I had been looking for a sweater in this style for a while and came across the LLBean option, which was a fraction of the cost to some of the other similar options. I decided to give it a try and am SO happy I did. This is a great, lightweight, very warm sweater! The cut is great because it gives some shape but is roomy. I like the weave on the outside and the cozy fleece on the inside. I went with the light grey and did size up (I am normally a S/M and went with the medium) and it fits perfectly. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it -- LLBean never disappoints!

Very cozy, nice to keep warm in the house on a cold day, or to wear outside under a coat. Fits perfectly, but I'd recommend a size larger than normal if you want to have it roomy and relaxed. It has a warm and comfortable feel.

I have worn this top during the cold weather and have been nice and warm.

Saw this pullover in the nearby LL Bean store. Tried on my regular size and it was very comfy and form fitted. Plum color not available in my size, so I ordered online. Came within a few days and have enjoyed wearing it since. Nice and warm. LL Bean even gave me a matching credit when it went on sale a week later. Thanks LL Bean!

This pullover has been my winter uniform. Very comfortable and warm. Casual yet completely presentable. I wash in cold and dry on low heat and it's kept it's size/shape nicely.

Found a fleece pullover I though appropriate for a gift for my wife. I struggled with selecting the right size but your size table was most helpful. She loved it and I loved it on her.

I have this Sweater Fleece in the Purple Sunset, which was actually my second color choice (Royal Plum was not available in my size). I actually love this color and think it will be more "neutral" for me than the Plum. I see more blue than purple in this color,so it's perfect with jeans. I did size-up upon reading the reviews and speaking to a very helpful LL Bean customer service rep.(I am 5'5" and 145 lbs and the Extra Large is perfect for me.) It definitely runs smaller than any of the previous fleeces I have ordered. The kangaroo pocket will hang just a little bit below the hemline, if I have been using the pocket. Otherwise it's not a problem. I like that the bottom of the fleece is not fitted or a tight elastic. I appreciate that it skims my hips, not hugs them. I find this to be just a bit dressier than my usual fleeces. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and am considering ordering another color, maybe the Royal Plum when it comes back in stock. This top is comfortable and warm. The color choices are all pretty. I like that it has pockets and that the sleeves and hem are not gathered. I am very happy with this purchase.
