I sent one of these to my brother and my sister and both really like them. Gave one to my best friend, and of course, I have 3 of them myself. They have the right pocket size, fit perfectly. My brother, who never likes anything I get him for Christmas, actually called me to tell me he loves his! That's a positive review, let me tell you!

I love everything about these. They wash great, look great and my entire family wears them. I have purchased five to date (sailcloth, charcoal and black). I am not disappointed in any of them and steal my husbands when I need a change of color. The weight is perfect for when I don't want to wear a coat while out running errands, but can leave on once headed inside, too. I honestly can't say anything negative about them.

Comfortable, warm, light, pleasing. Both my wife & I have one. One of those pieces that we will wear for ever.

I received a Sweater Fleece Pullover for Christmas and within just a couple of days, I ordered a second one! The Blue Green and Sunset Pink are even more beautiful in person than online. This sweater is so warm and cozy. With a light t-shirt underneath, I do not always need to wear a coat outside, even in cold Midwest weather. I love the retro logo and the kangaroo pockets. PLEASE keep making this in additional colors - this pullover is now a staple of my wardrobe!

I have had this pullover for about 5 hours and it's already my favorite thing I own! It's the perfect amount of warmth mixed with classic LL Bean styling. The fit is perfect (I am 5'6" 170lb and purchased a Large). I'm so excited to wear this (all the time) and already have it added to my wishlist in another color!

I can't say enough nice things about this sweater fleece. It layers easily, looks great, and is so cozy and warm. I get compliments on it whenever I wear it, which is often! My only complaint, which isn't even worth a whole star, is that the front pocket can't actually hold anything. Even something as small and light as my phone drags the lining down below the hem. But I don't really keep things in kangaroo pockets anyway.

I love how warm this pullover is! I get cold easily, so I wear it every day. I also wear the pullover to work with just a t-shirt underneath and don't have to complain about how cold I am. I would definitely recommend this fleece to friends!

Absolutely love this sweater. It's super warm, very flattering and the higher collar definitely keeps the wind off of your neck. Hope to purchase another one in the very near future.

I have a sweater style fleece by another more expensive outdoor company and it has lots of pilling already. I have worn the LLBean pullover for about a year now (light gray); it has been through many washes and lots of activity with a toddler, and it still looks brand new. I wear it so much I just bought another to get a different color in the rotation. This is a great classic staple that offers a nice alternative to my tired sweatshirts and sweaters.

I received this pullover as a gift, and am so very pleased with it! It's very warm, well-made (of course: it's LLBean!), flattering, and is the perfect extra layer for indoor winter days or going outside on those spring/fall days. I also love how the bottom can fold under a bit and look blousy. For reference, I am 5'8" and almost 140 pounds; the medium looks and fits great. (I could perhaps fit in a small for a fitted look, but love the little extra room a medium provides for layering underneath...and it doesn't look "big" at all.) I received the black color, but called to exchange it for the blue-green and can't wait to wear it full-time, pair it with burgundy pants and dark jeans, hike in it, wear it to late summer night outdoor concerts...I know this is going to be a wardrobe staple for many, many years to come (and I may just need to request another color next Christmas!). You won't be disappointed if you order this!

I'm loading up on all things warm (light coats and heavy coats) as I move west to Montana. I was a little skeptical about buying this specific pullover online due to the reviews saying they run small but I also didn't want to size up and be too big. It's AMAZING! I'm 5' 8" 180lbs. solid and usually wear a large in jackets but I sized up. The XL gives me plenty of room to add layers and it's not at all too bulky to just wear with a light shirt. I'm VERY pleased with this beautiful grey color and the coziness of the fleece pockets! Definitely buying a few more in other colors!

My mother-in-law doesn't use the internet so I give her catalogs with sticky post notes for my holiday wish lists. By some accident, a sticky note must have slipped off and I ended up with this pullover. I am so glad I ended up with this pullover! It does run small but since she ordered a bigger size, it fits perfectly. I love the front pockets and the soft fleecy inside. It makes me feel like I'm wearing pajamas but it doesn't LOOK like I'm wearing my pajamas. It's super warm and there's no need for additional layers. I'll probably put a sticky note on this pullover in the catalog next time and get another one.

I received this Fleece Pullover for Christmas and it is one of my favorite gifts. I have other ones similar like it from other big company names and this one is the best! It fits true to size and the quality is very good, better then the other ones. If you don't have one you need it in your winter closet!!

I usually have a hard time finding the right size at LL Bean because I am a petite person, while LL Bean's size usually runs large. Even when I buy XXS, LL Bean can still be somehow big for me. But for this item, I tried XXS Reg in the store and surprisingly, it fits very well and the sleeves are the perfect length (the fit is kinda like other regular brands' sizing for me). I agree with other reviewers, the opening does look small, that I have to remove my glasses in order to put the pullover on (but just small not tiny). It is a thick quality fleece that is perfect to wear when the indoor temperature is low or when you are doing short-period or light workout outdoors. For your reference, I am 5'4 and 105 lbs.

Thick, really thick material, nice color. I'd say to size. I ordered it big so I would have space for a heavy sweater under it, which I didn't have to do, it's that cozy. I want another one, in a smaller size. That sweater's taking care of me.

I had been eyeing this sweater fleece for quite awhile before I finally decided to purchase it when I had a 20% off coupon. Now that I have it, I would have gladly paid full price for it. It is very warm (I've been wearing it around the house as well as to/from the gym in 35 degree weather), roomy, and comfortable, but looks nicer than a regular sweatshirt. The only flaw I have noticed so far is that the grey piping cuff on one sleeve is fraying after only one wash. I was surprised at this, because otherwise it washed very well and seems like a great quality piece that I hope to have in my wardrobe for a long time. Sizing - I am 5,1; 145 lbs; pear shape; and wear a small in most LL Bean flannels - A medium in this sweater fleece fits perfectly for what I wanted. A small probably would fit me more like the model in the pictures but I wanted it big enough to wear like a true sweatshirt.

Got this sweater as a gift and I love it so much. It's so warm and comfortable, a perfect everyday sweater. Only thing I'd recommend is sizing up if you are someone who likes their sweaters a little more oversized like me.

Comfortable and well made. I was looking for a different fleece and came across this. I read quite a few of the reviews on this top and couldn't decide between purchasing a large or extra large. I am 5' 11" and 155 pounds. I typically wear a large, but will admit I like my sleeves to be on the long side. I ended up buying the large and am happy with my purchase. I would buy another in the same size. The top is slightly fitted but I can wear a Smartwool baselayer underneath. The sleeves come right to my wrists. This is shorter than I normally like but not anything that would make me return the top. I have washed and dried it a couple of times already and the top doesn't appear to have shrunk. If you want a heavier baselayer underneath or if you like your sleeves a bit longer then I would size up. Otherwise I would go with your regular size. I intend to purchase more in different colors.

I previously had owned a Patagonia fleece similar to this LLBean option. I decided to change it up and buy this fleece which is less expensive, and found that it was also more comfortable, and a better fit. Very cozy and very reliable. I liked it so much I bought one for my mom and one for my sister for Christmas. I highly recommend this purchase.

LL Bean's Sweater Fleece Pullover may be my favorite Bean purchase yet! I bought this fleece over a month ago, and I live in Northern Maine where we are currently experiencing below 0 temperatures. This morning I ran outside to start my car, wearing this fleece, and I did not feel the breeze pierce my sweater. I also often wear this sweater to work where it can be on the cooler side, and it keeps me warm all day. I have put it in the washer and dryer, and it has maintained its shape.

Love this pullover fleece! Love it because it is thick enough to keep me toasty warm, yet shaped to not look like your typical bulky fleece. I also like the fact that the two side pockets are actually connected into one large one where I can store my phone and keys. I ordered the olive green one and it is beautiful. Thank you LLBean for another great product.

I have worn this fleece almost every day since I received it over 2 months ago and I couldn't be happier with it. It fits like a sweatshirt and I can fit a thin cashmere sweater or fleece pullover underneath it. It is warm, looks good and is holding up so well. I disagree with the comments regarding a stiff, scratchy fabric. I don't find it to be those at all. It's my favorite item of 2016!

I absolutely love this fleece top! I got the green/aqua color, which is quite flattering. And it's very soft and warm, perfect to wear in freezing Chicago winters. I ordered a small, and the fit -- including the length -- is just right for me (5'4", 110 lb).

I love this sweater fleece. It is super soft and warm. I love the big pocket in front to keep my hands warm. Extremely well manufactured. I plan to buy more of this style and the full-zip. I used the size chart and ordered a small. I am 5'5" 136 pounds 34 DDD. It is a little snug in the chest but fits great everywhere else. I have laundered it a couple of times now and so far no shrinking or fading. Got it on sale but it is worth full price.
