i bought this jacket for our two sons. Our 6'1", 210 lb. son had a perfect fit with a large. He has long arms, and the jacket was perfect. He could even wear a thick shirt or lighter sweater under it. Our son who is 5'10", 165 lb. had a roomy fit, but could accommodate a heavy sweater under it. Since he will be using it in a cold climate, this will be perfect. If wearing just the jacket, I would get him a medium. It is not a skimpy cut. Very soft and versatile. It has a more polished look than fleece.. I bought one for myself, and wear it all the time. It's comfortable with temps in the 50's with a long sleeve shirt.

This jacket arrived as a Christmas present for my son. When I bought it I wasn't sure it would fit as well as it does. Beautiful design, warm, comfy and true to size. You won't go wrong picking out this jacket!

I bought two of these since I could not decide between the red and blue colors (I confess to not only a little vanity, but also trouble in decision making). Comfortable, great fit, and the colors are very bright and attractive.

My son is picky about fit and comfort so when he wore it everyday after Christmas I knew I found a winner. His wife liked the more professional look and slim fit.

I bought 2 of these as Xmas gifts - one for my husband (XL) & one for my son (medium) to wear walking around his college campus in NH - he doesn't want to wear a bulky jacket to classes but sometimes has a long walk. They both love them & have worn them almost every day since Xmas. They look great on and seem to be true to size, if maybe a little roomy but not enough to size down.

This jacket is just what my husband wanted! Good quality and perfect fit...perfect roominess. Thank you!

Loved mine so much I bought this for gifts in both men's and women's...perfect fit and feel. They were thrilled! It has shape to the body, so not boxy, and slightly longer in the back. I love this as a 3-season jacket as well as under a shell. I don't know, but the body must have a bit of wind break, but not the arms....makes it great for bike riding!

Had to return for XL the XXL was too big -- sent it back for an exchange

I purchased the full zip sweater fleece for my husband and it looks great on him! It's super warm, comfortable and looks good with jeans or khakis. He's able to comfortably wear a long sleeve shirt underneath and the sleeves and length are plenty long enough.

If you have a relative slimmer figure, expect this to look a little baggy on you. It's certainly not a slim cut. The Large left significant room on my 6 foot 200 lbs frame. I returned it but otherwise it's very warm and made of great material.

I bought the large tall for my husband for Christmas, and he absolutely loves it. It looks a bit more dressy than just a regular fleece. Also, I went with the full zip which he appreciated as oppose to the 1/4 zip.

This is a soft, warm, light fleece jacket. It is great for adding a layer to keep warm at home or in the office in cold weather. It is just right as a jacket when outside on in cool weather. It quickly became a staple in my wardrobe-I bought it in black which matches with most of what I wear. This is a LLBean high quality product, once again.

Perfect fit, great color. Perfect fleece jacket and competes with all the major brands in terms of warmth- i've owned most of the others as well.

The tall is great for a bit of extra length so you stay warm and covered when reaching up or bending down! Good arm length too! Very happy with this fleece!

A good all purpose fleece, wears well, looks nice if you want to dress it up or be casual. Warm but not too constricting. Convenient zippers/pockets.

I really like this jacket. I had the pullover and then I bought this as a second to have another color. It fits well with enough room to wear a flannel or other layer underneath, but is trim enough to wear with just a t shirt. The Napoleon pocket is great and makes this better than the pullover imo. 5'10" with a 42-43" chest. I normally wear large or extra large shirts depending on the brand. I'm consistently a large in LL Bean tips. I wear a size 36 waist in pants and this isn't too big around my waist. It tapers enough to look good without being tight or restricting. I wear this around town, hiking, and on my bicycle. It doesn't block a lot of wind, but it will handle most wind below 10-15 knots. No buyer's remorse here. I would gladly buy again or buy for friends and family.

Love the feel of the fleece. Seems softer than others I have bought. Fits great.

Just what I would have expected if gotten from the store in Maine. Surprised by the warmth it provides without being too heavy or bulky. Finish is excellent. Will get lots of use so time will tell on durability.
