The large regular size fits me perfectly, I usually order the tall size for the extra arm and body length, however, the regular cut for this fleece fit my extra length needs perfectly. The color is great and it is warm and stylish.

I purchased two similar items on the same day expecting to like the significantly more expensive item from another retailer. Much to my surprise, this item provided the warmth, functionality and fit I was seeking. It is my casual go-to jacket. One of my requirements was to have warmth and style without being too tight. This has been accomplished with one exception, the logo on the front. The logo is colorful and too bold for my liking. I would prefer the more muted or blended logo. The only reason why I've been able to tolerate the patch is because I see so many others and have learned to be less bothered by it. I returned the more expensive item to the other retailer and have not thought twice about it.

Great layering piece and good quality. Ordered for my husband who loves wearing it. It fits true to size and makes a great gift.

This fits me just right, provides extra warmth as layer under another jacket or by itself on not so cold days.

I have broad shoulders and long arms, based on size charts and reviews, I decided to order the large. The fit is perfect, I ordered the green it it looks great. I will be ordering a second in a different color.

Birthday Gift for hubby. Anticipated to be a bit small because of the slight fit. However it was a good fit, no bulking anywhere as you find with most fleece. the slight fit was spot on. ok, so no flannel or anything to bulky underneath, but this is a bit more on the dressier side so you wouldn't want to anyway, very stylish.

Cozy sweater fit, with the convenience of full-zip. I have had one from a competitor for the past three years and have had a difficult time wearing anything else when fall and winter temperatures arrive. The slightly fitted fit of the fleece against the body makes this a warm, comfortable go to with business casual and pajamas. I was pleasantly surprised by the PERFECT fit of the L.L. Bean Sweater Fleece, providing me the slight bit more length in the arms and torso I would like in my other brand.

i bought this for my fiance to replace his worn-out fleece from another brand. He typically wears a size medium, and the medium fit him perfectly. It looks smart with his business casual work attire, and he wears it almost every day. If you're comparing different fleeces to get for your guy, get this one!

This sweater jacket arrived in perfect condition. More like a heavy sweater than a jacket, but a very neat and tidy fit. Very warm, and it dresses up jeans or even regular pants. I'm really happy with this purchase. And I recommend it.

My husband loves the way this looks and feels (he wanted grey) but requested that I remove the colorful LLBean label from the chest. That was easily done!

My husband is usually a 2XL Tall and this item was true to size. The quality of the fabric is very nice and he likes the gray color.

I had been looking for one made by another competitor, (starts with a P) but I'm so glad I went with this one instead. This is a great buy and I ordered it during a promotion, which saved me another 20%. The jacket fits great and is really warm. I will be buying another jacket (or pullover) in a different color soon.

I tried a few other fleece jackets of about the same price range and LL Bean's quality, fit and style won me over. It's not baggie like Columbia but not overly fit like another. Well worth the money.

These are by far the best pile jackets I have used. I bought several and wear them every day. This jacket is perfect for where I live in the Rockies where the temperature varies greatly depending on if the sun is out. I use it around town, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, fishing, hunting, banging nails on the barn roof or just sitting reading with the heat turned down. It is long enough for a 6'4" person which is unusual. The exterior is knit and the interior is pile. It is more of a trim fit that works well under down parkas, rain gear and wind anoraks. After hard use the exterior knit and binding tape on cuffs begins to pill but this is true of every pile jacket I have used. To minimize this wash it inside-out. The chest pocket has a vertical zipper and is deep enough to easily fit sunglasses, a phone or small camera. ( LLBean's designers too often put tiny pockets on men's clothing, but thankfully this pocket is big enough.) The side pockets also have zippers and are again well designed.

I just purchased my fourth, the previous three (in different colors) are still in use: this fleece is what I wear around the house all winter long. Light, warm but not overly, and as a bonus, the front zip pocket holds newer, larger smartphones nicely.

Purchased the jacket for my husband. He loves it! He is always receiving compliments when he wears it. He even is thinking of purchasing another color he likes it so much. Very pleased with the quality and would recommend to others. Thanks LLBean

This is a nicely tailored lightweight jacket. My only regret is that I don't have many chances to wear it because winter is a month or two early here in MA

I was in Vermont in mid October and found that I didn't bring a warm enough fleece to go under my shell. I bought the Bean's Fleece full zip jacket and was pleasantly surprized at the close knit of the garment that not only keeps out the cold but has a little wind protection too when worn as a stand alone without a shell. The zipper has material behind it to keep the cold from infiltrating through the zipper.
