I absolutely love this item. It is true to size and very comfortable. It is great with layering and keeps you warm, but not to warm. I would definitely recommend this sweater fleece.

Great fit, very comfortable, warm

I bought this for my husband to wear around the house in the winter, as we keep our home on the cool side in the winter. He finds it very comfortable and warm. Fits nicely.

I bought this in a Medium Tall. I don't like sleeves that are too short and this is perfect. In fact I worry because I am almost between sizes. Large is too large and medium is almost snug. The outside is like a fine knit but does not snag, where the inside is soft to the skin. I'm a 35" waist with a bit of belly but not fat. As this jacket is tailored some everything fits like it was tailored. There is room in the chest and shoulders where the waist is more snug. The arms are big enough but not sloppy. I wear over a T-shirt and would have to go for large to wear over shirts or flannels. I can move around without restrictions, without the bulk. Would layer nicely under a jacket and the zip up collar will keep your neck nice and toasty. It is soft and sooo comfortable I just love it. I look forward to needing to wear it. There is no downside except to say, where's the 38-42" sizes? The blue is really sharp. Just had to say.

I bought this jacket to be warmer than a thinner fleece jacket I use for golf on cold days. A perfect solution. Provides warmth without restricting my swing.

I purchased the Sweater Fleece in Deep Mustard, very happy with the purchase. The sweater is very warm, soft inside material, fit is spot on. Would recommend highly. I prefer the full zip to the pullover for comfort reasons.

Very comfortable and a great fit and easily maintained

I love the jacket. It's a mens for this 73 year old gal but I think it looks good on. When I first got it the size and color were wrong but LLBean replaced it with the right one. This was partially my fault and a little bit their fault. They took care of it and no shipping charged.

Sweater is good quality, warm, "go to item" in cleveland winter. Perfect for in house and layer under outdoor coat. Some reviews indicate sleeve length too long. In fact as a big and tall customers sleave length is perfect and hits just past wrist. Little disappointed in sales item tactics, confusing as item pictured as sale is blue. Triggered a call to customer service as I order same and believed I did not receive sale price.sale is only in yellow out of many colors available. Ok sale technically accurate. Ease of customer understanding=No. Clearly the sale item should be listed as item pictured as one color one item on sale. Not up to LL Bean standard.

I am between XL and XXL for most shirts and jackets. This XL Tall fits me very well. My neck is 18" My arm length is 36".

I absolutely love this jacket. I'm tall and thin and the medium regular fits me perfectly. It's not a huge wind stopper, but most fleece isn't. It's perfect for those mildly cool days on it's own or cold days with a few layers underneath. The jacket looks as great as it feels, too! Some people have complained that it sticks to long sleeves and should have a nylon lining. While I do agree that it sticks to sleeves, it's not really an issue for me. Just hold the jacket sleeve while removing your arm and you're good to go. All-in-all... great jacket. I'd love to own a second one soon!

Based on previous LL Bean fleece purchase, I expected this fleece-lined jacket-sweater to be warmer. Weight is good, leading me to believe it would be warmer. I find that the diameter of sleeves in men's/unisex-looking clothing fits better, so although a female, this jacket feels and looks good on. Just have to layer more to actually be warm. Love the color. Wish the label were the embroidered thread, matching color kind, not a bright tag.

Everything I hoped it would be. Perfect for the cool, damp evenings here.

The product is fine. Unfortunately, the sleeves are about 2 inches too long and will need to be shortened.

I like how the zipper works, when fully zipped up it keeps my neck warm and the wind out.

I read some reviews that this sweater is boxy or long in the sleeves or doesn't fit quite right, but I found the Medium to be an excellent fit in length with the extra room just right for layering over a button-down for work. For those wanting an athletic fit, Bean has options - I recommend the North Ridge Fleece. This fleece is warm outdoors, but comfortable enough to wear indoors and compared to other brand sweater fleeces I own, I found it to be warmer against a cold winter wind. This one is a winner, LL Bean.
