Well made with heavier duty fabric than most fleece jackets. Two large interior pockets for carrying phone/tablet/etc. Three exterior pockets for keys/phone. Sleeves long enough to partially cover hands. Over flap along zipper keeps the wind out. Great for autumn/spring days.

This product has it all. It's stylish, super comfortable, and high quality. I'm totally pleased with the one I have, and I would order another with no hesitation.

I bought this to replace an older LL Bean fleece jacket, I've had for probably 15+ years. I love the new shade of blue and the extra zip pocket for my phone... It can be worn over a sweater, sweatshirt, or any extra layers you may need and still fits me perfectly. The price was fair and It is actually a little heavier than my older one, which I am still keeping to wear while doing yard work...And I like the new logo better than the embroidered one on my original fleece...

Needed a new fleece jacket for the coming winter. This certainly fills the bill...great fit, great color choices and very comfortable material. This should be perfect. I just wasn't expecting to have to use it this early in the season! Glad I ordered early.

I ordered this and a hooded version. I was concerned about the Medium. But, it fits perfectly. I'm a thin guy with not much meat on me. Very warm. I have to make sure I am putting it on as I exit the house so that I don't start sweating!

This has been already been well used for the unseasonably cold weather here in Tennessee. Glad I had it!

It's a little big, but that's the way I buy sweaters for winter. I like the extra room.

We have recently moved to a colder climate, and my husband needed a another layer for cool fall mornings and evenings, so we ordered the Bean Sweater Fleece, Full Zip. It has been the perfect piece to slip on when he needs just a little warmth. He also found that it was sufficiently warm for sub-freezing temperatures during a recent cold blast. The quality is excellent, and the full zip is perfect for him. The zipper works well, and appears durable.

Chose the XL Tall size. This fit me very well. The jacket is light weight, but provides a level of warmth for a fall day. Worked well with layers (a sweatshirt) underneath for colder evenings on a recent trip to Colorado.

Love this jacket/sweater. Did have to have the sleeves shortened, but that's always the case when I buy clothes "off the rack." I've been using tailors for most of my life whenever I purchase pants, coats or shirts. Since the weather turned a couple weeks ago, I've worn it almost every day.

A very nice three season jacket. Fits perfectly, very comfortable. I've received several compliments about the jacket in the few times I've worn it since purchase. Would recommend.

I have been wearing LL Bean fleece jackets and vest since to mid 80's and they are the warmest most comfortable piece of outdoor clothing that I wear.

This is the best fleece zip front item I've ever experienced.....it's rugged yet soft and durable

I purchased it in blue. As soon as my 16 year old granddaughter who lives in New York saw it, she asked to try it on. She loved it. So I told her she could have it. Great for young and old.

sweater fleece was as advertised, comfortable and warm with well functioning zippered pockets. itchy when worn initially but expected to go away after first wash as experienced with prior purchase

This jacket was a surprise. I had purchased the mustard color sweater fleece as it was on sale, and I prefer softshell type jackets. The material is indeed sweater fleece; not quite one or the other, but rather both. I had tried the large, even when I had some 10-20 extra pounds on me and it was too baggy. The medium fit better and unlike some LL Bean such jackets, this one fit and looked like it was trying to be stylish and not just functional. It is warm in the fall and light winter, and as a inner layer under my softshell it was great. Really, a very good product; stylish, good quality, great color choices, good sweater fleece combination and I would say a better jacket than the classic name brands that are often purchased by my colleagues. Again, a very, very impressive jacket. I have since purchased three other colors; charcoal, blue and gray.

At 1st I was disappointed to find that my previous 2 jackets had been discontinued. I took a chance the this jacket was a viable substitute. Was I ever surprised to find that they had improved the design! The zipper now has a draft flap while retaining the style of the old design that i had come to enjoy - inner pockets, locker loop, chest pocket - and I think the fleece is better. All-in-all I am very pleased with the purchase.

I love my sweater jacket. I got it int he red. It looks great. It fit s great. It's comfortable. It's urbane as well as country. BUT, that LL Bean color logo patch on the left chest plate: It's just gotta go. Or get a serious and good contemporary redesign. It just ruins the overall look. Even if it was black and white and smaller it would look better, much better. I'm going to take a seam ripper to it and see if I can get it off. As a designer it just doesn't work aesthetically. But overall I love my sweater jacket and the color is perfect.

Well-made, solid construction, smartly designed with the "right" amount, location and sealing type (zippers) for the generously-sized pockets. Nice high neck so that, when zipped all the way up, provides a good seal against the elements and wind. I was recently in Alaska cruising around in the waters in front of Mendenhall glacier this fleece jacket more than earned its keep.
