My warmest fleece. I wear this as a layer underneath my insulated parka on THE coldest days when I ride my motorcycle. The usual Bean fit - proper but generous (not slim or tight). Excellent zipper, no mechanical issues. Don't even bother looking for something comparable that is less expensive: Price is what you pay, Value is what you get. Excellent Value with this heavy zippered fleece!!!

My wife purchased 2 of these early in winter and practically lived in them for the season. I broke down and purchased a jacket and a vest recently. I am as happy with them as she is. Spring has been cold and wet and I find them to be a perfect weight and warmth for this period.

I work on a school bus. With chilly mornings this jacket is perfect and not overbearing heavy.

Son loves it! Changed size for regular as tall was too long. Now just right. Nice material and orange color very nice.

My husband got me one of these for Christmas and I love it so much that I got him one...just because! They are so soft and comfy. Only thing we noticed is that if we wear something long sleeved, it grabs a bit when putting it on or off. But that's really a non issue since it's such a wonderful jacket.

I love this fleece jacket. It is my go-to for warmth on a chilled rainy day or cool night when I need that extra layer of warmth. It fits great underneath a rain shell and always looks neat-no pills, etc., even as I wear it constantly. I highly recommend this as an everyday sweater alternative; especially as the ash gray goes with just about anything. Originally bought the medium as it runs generous, but returned it for the large to give me a more comfortable fit.

We've purchased 2 of these, one for each of us. We like the construction, the comfort and warmth very much. The collar works well either up or down.

Bought to replace one from another top retailer lost on vacation - this fleece jacket is heads and tales above the old one in quality of fabric and construction. Fit true to size.

Wish you did a XXX size of the full zip and the quarter zip fitness fleece. I am a big guy but I wear my XX all the time. I wish I could put another layer underneath or even wear two fitness fleece. Love these things. Photo is the two items I am talking about.

I bought this for my fianc, had already bought him the pullover version, and I have 2 jackets myself. We wore them ALL winter every day. We keep our house pretty frosty to save $$$, and as soon as you put it on, you're like 10 degrees warmer.

This is very well made and very nice looking. It has a flap of material behind the zipper to minimize air infiltration. Two large open pockets inside for light gloves or whatever. I like the chest pocket for my mobile phone in addition to the two zippered external pockets. This is a nice outer layer for fairly cool days/nights. It is a medium weight, which is heavier than I would wear for a middle layer unless it was just under a wind or rain shell. I like the lighter weight fleeces for a middle layer under other insulated jackets. I find this slips on nicely over my bare arms and likely also over a normal button down shirt, but I find the sleeves are a little binding when I put this on over a corduroy shirt or a turtleneck due to the interaction of the fleece and the shirt material. I can't just slip it on, I have to work at getting my arms through. So keep that in mind.

I took a trip to Italy a few weeks ago where the weather was low's- 40 deg high 50/55 deg. This was the perfect sweater for those conditions. I was great to have on the plane too. Simply said, this is my new favorite sweater, where it often. just the right weight and warmth for those cooler pre-summer mornings. if you don't have one of these babies...you need to get one!!

It's extremely comfortable and very well made. It's a stand alone jacket when it's chilly and a perfect layer piece with a hoodie in colder weather. Highly recommend it.

Fantastic jacket, had an older version and bought a new one when the old one showed its age. Only request is please take the emblem off the front (old version didn't have it), or at least make it embroidered in a darker pattern that is not as noticeable. I love LL Bean, and I recommend it to everyone I know because of the quality, but what I don't like is being a walking billboard. Recommend regardless, but would make a fantastic jacket a perfect one.

Just perfect for those days when a coat is to much and a shirt is to little.

I just booked a trip to Alaska and wanted something stylish, comfortable and functional for a late August visit. This all-in-one jacket fits into my pack/carry-on just fine. The size was true to fit which is hard to find lately. While shopping in the Easton Ohio store, Gary came up to me and asked if he could help. I told him what I was looking for...something nice for my trip to Alaska. He look at me and said he booked a trip too. We shared details and our trips are almost identical....then he pointed to the sweater/fleece jacket I was looking for...priceless.

I liked my first full-zip fleece so much I bought a second. They are medium blue and cayenne. I wear them during our really cold Michigan winter days over a long-sleeve undershirt and stay quite comfortable. They look good on, and the slightly longer back keeps my lower back warmer than fleece sweaters that cut straight across the back at the waist. Very comfortable indoors (especially with the thermostat lowered just a bit) and out. Easy to wear a winter coat over it when needed for outdoors.

Just love it. It's the best of this type I've ever purchased. Warm, soft, perfect fit, looks great and is high quality and at a good price too.
