I am from the east coast. Grew up going to LL Bean. Brought my husband there for the first time. Wanted to get him a flannel shirt. Brought it home and it shrunk. Expensive shirt. Very disappointed

I have purchased many, many shirts from LLBean but never a flannel shirt. This was my first LLB flannel purchase. I expected it to be better. I have several much less expensive flannel shirts that are thicker soft flannel. I have several just like this one that cost 1/2 to 1/3 the price. I see no reason to have wasted money on this shirt when other brands at the same price-point have a superior product.

i thought it would be iron free, as the tag says do not iron. however, after washing according to directions, it came out of the dryer all wrinkled. i would not wear it anywhere but around the house. If you cant dry clean, and cant iron, how do you get a shirt to lookpressed?

This shirt could have fit two of me. I am a medium at just about every store I've ever shopped at, but I have no idea what I am at LL Bean.

These shirts have always been my favorite for fall, winter, early spring wear. Unfortunately these shirts the last four or five years do not hold up. They consistently separate in the under arm!!!!

I own a number of LLBEANE flannel shirts. The older ones are all permanent press. These shirts were advertised as "requiring a light touch up pressing". They, in fact, come out of the dryer looking like rags and must be ironed after every washing. This is a "back to the 40's" fabric that is very unappealing to me.

L.K. Bean mens shirts are not sized like other main brand mens shirts: they are tighter in chest and sleeves are (too) longer. Just don't fit as expected

Fabric soft. Fit baggy, almost formless after first wash

I have purchased several flannel shirts for my husband and this is the only one that pilled up terribly after 2 washes. He wants me to throw away the shirt, he is so unhappy with the shirt.

After one washing, seam on button strip tore out 12" (sewing defect); product exchanged for another try! An exception to Bean's usual solid-quality product, I hope.

Very disappointed, after washing this shirt 3 times it looks like I had it for 5 years! The shirt is full of pills and I have to use a clothes shaver on it after each washing to get it to look decent!

I will be sending the shirt back due to size. I wear a 2 or 3 xl and this shirt is a 3xl, but does not fit.,

I am so disappointed by the quality of this product. I gave it to my husband as a Christmas gift but the top two buttons of the shirt fell off just after the very first wash (not even wear it on yet) Washing the new clothes before wearing (especially it's not a coat or jacket) is a common practice in my house. What makes it worse is that I was trying to find the usual "extra button" coming either at the inner side of a tag or somewhere on the shirt, but there is NO extra button. I like the product because it has Tall in Medium size which is my husband's type who has long arms.

All of my shirts are XXL, but this XXL was too large. I liked the color and material but it was too big in the sleeves, length and width. I'm not sure a XL would even fit.

Followed at home washing instructions perfectly- and the arms and side length shrunk. Wore once. Now vastly too small.

We have ordered these shirts in the past which were always of exceptional quality. This year, the shirt was indistinguishable from something purchased at discount big box store. While it was soft, it faded severely and pilled after just one wash! My other flannels from purchase in past years remain vibrant and without pilling after many years of washings.

Poorly sized and assembled. I had to return it. I felt like a child putting on my father's sleep shirt...and I am 6'5".

Way too large. I ordered three Mediums. I've been a Medium for 40+ years. Fit like a tent. Way too long. neck too big, waist too big. Returned them all. I'm guessing they were either miss-marked Larges or Medium Longs.
They were comfortable.

Quality is not what it was years ago. I bought 3 new flannels and had to return them, my wife washed them once and they started pilling, little balls all over. From 2014 to 2016, I purchased 7 flannels and they look better than the 3 new ones. Customer service was great, I was told maybe they were from a bad batch and to return them and they will send out 3 new ones. I'll see what happens when I receive them.
