I bought this shirt for my son who adores LLBean products. It's a great online shopping experience and one that I use all year, but especially during the holidays.

I found the shirt to be very comfortable and a good fit, it is also very warm for these cold winter days.

Cheaper shirts don't do well in the dryer. I think this one will do fine. Worth every penny. Got TALL first. At 6'2, it was still too much shirt for me, so I exchanged for regular. Great customer service.

I bought this flannel shirt for my son for Christmas and he loves it. It's soft, not too thick, not too thin. I will buy more of these in the future. Thanks for a great product. Also the customer service lady who took my order was very nice and helpful. Great company to buy from.

We buy these shirts to wear ourselves and give as gifts to relatives because they are made of good quality flannel that lasts and the colors remain vivid and do not bleed or blend together after several washings. The shirts hold up for years of wear in contrast to other brands. People always make comments when we wear them that they must be LL Bean...

Warm, soft, comfortable 100% cotton, what more need I say? Great quality winter shirt.

For starters, I am 6"1, 210, 42R suit, and a large in most brands including some older Bean oxfords and sweaters. I was worried about the 2013 "traditional fit" and after reading pages of reviews, I decided on the Wallace in Medium Tall. The shirt is near perfect. I chose the Tall for the longer sleeves, but will need the bottom length tailored as it is a bit long (Tall adds 2 inches in length, 1 inch to sleeves). Lying flat, the chest measures 23 inches/46 total. Measure the chest on your favorite shirt and compare accordingly. Overall, the flannel is an excellent shirt and I'll be looking to buy another at the end of the season. Reminders: The shirt length and sleeves shrank a bit after a cold wash/line drying. The neck is comfortable, but I will probably never button the top button.

These flannels are the best. They wash up really nice and don't shrink. I've had some for several years and still wear them all winter. They look nice and wear really well. You can't go wrong with these.

soft fabric, excellent fit and good color

The shirt is very well-made, soft fabric, great fit and lovely plaid. The shirt does run large. A size Small fit better then the usual size Medium I buy for my guy.

i ordered the blue w green and a little yellow (forgot the color name). Both of them loved it. It's soft and warm and the L fit a usual L.

I've had my eye on this shirt for a period of time however had not purchased as my wardrobe was already heavy with this style of shirt. After recently needing to replace a shirt, I purchased a Chaps flannel instead. After removing from the packaging at home I found the material thin with holes visible throughout the stitching around the neck. I quickly returned that purchase and bought this shirt. It is the quality I have come to expect from LL Bean. The material is very soft and very warm. During the winter, I typically wear a sweater over my shirts on casual dress days at the office but not with this one. I would recommend this piece if you're looking for a warm shirt which is of quality construction and stylish.

Ordered this Scotch Plaid flannel shirt using the recommended size chart, and the fit was great. The shirt is comfortable, easy to care for and of superior quality. I look forward to ordering more of these!

I bought this shirt on sale, but even full price it is worth it. The cotton flannel is very soft, no lint, looks great, and fits perfectly. In fact, the color I bought looked even better in person. I actually received compliments! Although it says traditional fit, as for myself, it seemed tailored. Perhaps you should go 1 size up or perhaps I purchased a small, instead of a medium. I was so happy, I bought another shirt 2 weeks later.
