I got this for myself , I like my flannel shirts roomy got a Medium .. I love it! It's warm, color is bright wash after wash .. My fav flannel shirt!

I'm on the tall and narrow side, so shirt sizing is always a problem for me, but the tall sizes of this shirt are absolutely wonderful. The arms are both long and have plenty of room without being baggy. The body extends well past my waist, so no issues with the shirt coming untucked like with about 80% of my other shirts - even some in "tall" sizes. The only problem is than the shirt is long and soft enough for my wife to use it as a nightgown, so there have been numerous occasions where I've been looking for this shirt when getting ready for work, only to find my wife is sleeping in it!

My husband wears this flannel shirt so often, he requested I get him a second one! Fall/winter shirt that can be worn tucked in or out. He's 5' 11, between a size medium and a large, and the medium fits just right. The shirt washes well, and is super soft. Material is warm, but can be worn indoors all day. Thank you LLBean for making such a great shirt! Please add more fabric colors that don't have red in the fabric.

We bought this for my Dad, who needed some fresh classic shirts for the holidays. Love the plaid, and he does too. So great to have these classic styles available from LL Bean.

These are the best shirts, really nice cloth, and good looking. Don't ever change them... Grey Stewart may be even nicer than Black Watch.

I have been wearing the LL Bean Scotch Plaid flannel shirts since the 1970s. It's honest to say they are my favorite shirt. Material is definitely superior to others, plaids are finely colored and vibrant, the quality and make excellent. I wear them in town all the time, often to work; when old they are great at camp or on a boat. My only wish is the old spread-collar option. You will love these shirts.

Wearing the shirt right now and it is very soft and warm. Purchased a medium and it was a big roomy out of the bag, but after a wash/dry it shrunk just enough to become the perfect fit that I was looking for. Great shirt!

I live in the midwest where it can be cold. This shirt I absolutely love! definitely warm and yes, it's a little generous (but not too much) in sizing which I did not mind. I got my flannel shirt as a Christmas gift. Hoping santa brings me another one this year too! (not sure what the negative reviews were on the quality. My flannel shirt has held up great wash after wash). Thanks again LLBean for sticking to making quality products.

I got this shirt in high school in the 1990s and it's still a regular item in my wardrobe 20 years later. Only now am I considering stitching up the button holes because they are getting a little loose. I have the McHardie one, but I will probably buy another one this winter.

I got the Misse's XL, thinking it would fit around my hips, but I had to return it and get a Women's size. I like this as an overshirt, so wanted it baggier than usual. I've noticed LL Bean thinks all women are thin, and straight up and down; take that into consideration when choosing a size. What I wear in a Medium from another company, I have to get a Large from LL Bean. Other than the size issues, I love this shirt; it's cozy and soft.

I love Bean's flannel shirts and Black Watch Tartan is my favourite. This is a top quality shirt, soft and warm, wears very well. My issue, sort of, is with the button down style. I love button down collars, on oxford cloth, not as much on flannel. I much prefer the Newport style but, the colour choice(aside from Mariner blue) leaves to be desired. The Newport has a regular collar and two patch pockets, more in keeping with a flannel shirt, in my humble opinion. Still, this is a great shirt, runs very big, bigger than the Newport, so you might want to size down. Fair price, good value, excellent service, prompt delivery, you can count on Bean, they know flannel.

I purchased this shirt for my elderly father for his birthday. He is very picky about his shirts. He is 6' tall and the Regular XL fit him perfectly with a little extra room. The added monogram is the perfect touch for a nice gift. The quality and rich color of this shirt makes it a keeper. I truly recommend this shirt. I am buying more!

I love the fall and winter for many reasons...one of the reasons is that I can bring out my LL Bean flannels. This flannel is great, washes well, and has superior comfort and warmth. I'm very happy with this shirt and wish I could wear it year round.

I have bought several of these shirts and they are very nice shirts. Nice and warm and comfortable. Would highly recommend these as well. For someone being sensitive to the cold weather they keep me warm. Excellent shirts!

I bought one of these to try out and end up being fan of flannel shirt again after a decade. They are perfect fir and warm enough for fall and winter season. I bought two more and panning to buy almost every color they have. I just love them. Soft and comfy, you can not go wrong with LL Bean. I have several of Bean's Scotch Plaid Flannel shirts. They are, by far, the nicest, best feeling and best fitting flannel shirts I have. This time, I ordered the Prince Charles of Edward tartan and it actually looks even better than the online photo! Beautiful! None of my Bean's Scotch Plaid Flannel shirts have suffered any appreciable shrinkage, pilling or fading. They do require ironing, though. I honestly don't believe this shirt can be betteredat any price. Nobody does it better than L.L.Bean!

Mrs. Wonderful got some of these flannel shirts last year. My previous experience with flannel was that it kept me warm, but looked awful. HOWEVER these shirts look great, keep me warm, and are super comfortable. They even come in the 2x tall size which gives me the freedom to move easily. This year I eagerly looked forward to purchasing the Wallace pattern that I didn't get last year, but it is not available. Sad .... so sad ... very very sad ...... darn it. Maybe Santa will help?

My husband has been wearing these shirt for years and he just loves them. They are very warm and he gets cold easily but not while wearing these shirts. He has one in every color.

Very soft, comfortable and most importantly, does not shrink up when washed. Other flannel is great when new, but when washed a few times, shrink to be uncomfortable. Not this shirt. I have 2 or 3 of them in different colors. Nice to wear around the house or go out.

I always loved these shirts. My Dad and I have quiet a few each. I just wish this line was available in kids sizes. My son who is 11 really likes my shirts but LL Bean does not make these patterns in his size. My only disappointment. Please make this line of shirts in kid sizes LL Bean! You would triple the orders to my home!

Just what I was looking for, comfortable fit, comfortable fabric & attractive pattern.

I bought the grey Stewart color & love it. It is very soft & one of the most comfortable shirts I own, not to mention attractive. I have long arms & the medium tall fits me like it was tailor made. Perfect for life in a northern climate.

Finally, a flannel shirt that is cut big enough around and long enough to tuck in! I bought this for my husband who has been happy to wear it and it covers him completely to tuck into his pants and be comfortable in the girth-not tight like so many other large size flannel shirts. I will definitely buy again for him.

The material is heavier than other flannel shirts I have, & more importantly, the sleaves are long enough to allow for shrinkage & still fit well. I have four of them now!

Very happy with the quality, it's warm and not too heavy. Washes well
