My husband has been wearing these shirt for years and he just loves them. They are very warm and he gets cold easily but not while wearing these shirts. He has one in every color.

Very soft, comfortable and most importantly, does not shrink up when washed. Other flannel is great when new, but when washed a few times, shrink to be uncomfortable. Not this shirt. I have 2 or 3 of them in different colors. Nice to wear around the house or go out.

I always loved these shirts. My Dad and I have quiet a few each. I just wish this line was available in kids sizes. My son who is 11 really likes my shirts but LL Bean does not make these patterns in his size. My only disappointment. Please make this line of shirts in kid sizes LL Bean! You would triple the orders to my home!

Just what I was looking for, comfortable fit, comfortable fabric & attractive pattern.

I bought the grey Stewart color & love it. It is very soft & one of the most comfortable shirts I own, not to mention attractive. I have long arms & the medium tall fits me like it was tailor made. Perfect for life in a northern climate.

Finally, a flannel shirt that is cut big enough around and long enough to tuck in! I bought this for my husband who has been happy to wear it and it covers him completely to tuck into his pants and be comfortable in the girth-not tight like so many other large size flannel shirts. I will definitely buy again for him.

The material is heavier than other flannel shirts I have, & more importantly, the sleaves are long enough to allow for shrinkage & still fit well. I have four of them now!

My wife bought me one of these shirts (Black Watch) for Christmas this year. It immediately became my favorite shirt. Not only is it extremely comfortable, but provides a level of warmth that is unparalleled. I have since bought four more of these shirts and have recommended them to my co-workers. I am 5'9'', 175lbs and the Large fits perfectly. Great shirt all around.

I had just received the 'Macrae of Conchra' Scotch Plaid Shirt I ordered for myself and liked the thickness of the flannel so much I ordered another shirt, the 'Wallace' for me and a 'Black Watch' for my son for Christmas. Layer this great flannel shirt over the Bean's 'Interlock' turtleneck and you have some very warm layers for cold winter days.

A couple of years ago, as I changed out of my captain's uniform after a long, frigid day on Lake Superior, one of my coworkers and I were discussing our various attempts to keep warm without looking homeless. I told my coworker that I loved flannel, but couldn't find anything that A.) had long enough arms and B.) didn't shrink a whole size when placed in the dryer. My coworker looked at me like I was crazy and said: "Have you tried those Scotch Plaid shirts from Bean?" He told me they were great, all he wore in the winter, and that he had one in every color. I ordered 2 and discovered that he was absolutely right. Since then, I have accumulated 2 more, and I wear 3 of them constantly (the color of the 4th shirt was a poor choice). They are soft, comfortable, good looking, and virtually unshrinkable. Try one. You'll see.

This is the softest flannel shirt I've ever owned. I love it!! The fit was also right on. I'm 6'2" and 170 lbs and a Tall Medium was perfect. Also, it didn't shrink in at least the first washing. Thanks for a great product!

I bought this shirt as a gift for our grandson. When it arrived, it looked perfect and I was not surprised by our grandson's enthusiasm and gratefulness. The fabric is warm and sturdy, the garment is well made, and it looks even nicer than the picture.

Top quality flannel in a handsome Royal Stewart pattern. This is one of my favorite shirts for Southern California winters.

substantial with just right heft and fullness of flannel weight. Handsome brilliant colors of Royal Stewart Would be nice to have a label on shirt identifying Royal Steward tartan.

These are wonderfully warm shirts. I have given 3 to relatives and always received well, wear well. I have 2 women's shirts that are warm, well fit and comfortable.

I bought this shirt for my Fiancee. She has one that is 16 years old that was her brothers before he died. She wears it as a cool weather cover around the house. Needless to say the other one was totally worn out. This shirt was the only one I could find anywhere that was exactly the same color. Now the old one is retired and she still has the remembrance of her brother while wearing a new shirt.

LL Bean makes the best flannel shirts I've found. These aren't too heavy-a just perfect midweight. Virtually no shrinkage when compared to other brands. Colors remain bright and no pilling. The fabric remains nice and smooth vs others that get all rumpled looking. I wash cold and tumble dry for 10 min on cool then hang up. Price is a little higher than most but worth it.

Got this shirt for my boyfriend - a non-flannel wearer - and he loves it. Super soft, great fit (though we had to go down a size, usually he wears M, and the S in this shirt fit perfectly). Very well made. Great shirt.

This is the second of two flannel shirts that I ordered at the same time. As stated in my previous review the quality, fit, material, stitchery and warmth are second to none! LL Bean is by far one of the BEST and their warranty cannot be beat!

I bought this for myself since I like my flannels to be more loose, and not only is this a great quality product, it's really warm and exactly what I was looking for! It's really hard to find the perfect red flannel pattern, but this is it! So glad I bought this!

Although the sleeves could be a bit longer, this shirt fits great. The fabric is excellent with good construction. Not too big around the middle, it fits my tall thin guy very well.

Worn this a couple times now. Classic looking. Love the "feel" of it. Will be ordering more. Only wish were more in stock, because they go quick. Love this shirt!
