Very soft. Ample sleeves and not short in the body like the cheaper brands.

Yummy soft with a great fit.

The shirt arrived rapidly, as usual. It looked great out of the bag and remained so after washing. Most flannel shirts look their best the day you buy them, and then rapidly degenerate after that. This shirt has held up well thus far. I had given up on flannels because of their excessive shrinkage and pilling. This shirt lured me out, however, and I may have to buy some more.

I've been a fan of LL Bean wear for many many years. I'm 78 now and I guess I've been purchasing their clothing for at least half that and this shirt is just as good as they were in yesteryear. A very comfortable shirt for winter wear. And it looks good. A lot better than I do now at this age....NCB

These shirts are very well made, comfortable, and most importantly, warm. I'm between medium and large in shirt sizes (depending of the maker.) The medium size of this shirt fits me very well. There is a tiny bit of shrinkage, but not enough to make any difference.

This shirt really hit the spot. My husband has avoided flannel shirts for years as he has never found them comfortable before. That was before he discovered LL Bean. Now he has been converted and really enjoys wearing them!

He hasn't worn the shirt yet, but he did try it on. It is plenty roomy and he has never had a flannel shirt that felt so soft.

Although I bought this as a gift I had the chance to inspect it before wrapping and it is a quality shirt. With the coordinating Henley underlay I also purchased, it will be perfect for my recipient to wear to work..

Quality and craftsmanship are hallmarks of LL Bean products. These flannels are just what I hoped for. The fabric is heavy enough to be warm, but still soft and comfortable. I'm actually wearing this shirt as I write this and couldn't be happier.

comfort & colors/design both 10s. but fit, as usual for LLB, is too large. usually wear size MED shirts but ordered a SMALL size & fits me well---still even a little fuller OA than I would like. wish it had been available in trim fit. have ordered trim fit SMALL shirts from LLB in past that fit me pretty well.

This is the second Scotch Plaid Flannel Shirt I've purchased for my husband. I bought the first one for Christmas of 2013, and the shirt still looks great and washes well - two important reasons I ordered a second this year.

Growing up in the north I know LL Bean and their quality products. When I was in the market to replace my aging flannel collection I stumbled upon an LL Bean add. I started looking and found this collection that looked good, was resonably priced and offered long lengths. Not having a store anywhere near NC I didn't hesitate to take a chance. These are the best fitting, wash well and hold their color flannel shirts for the price. I now have one of each color and couldn't be happier.

I have been purchasing these shirts for my husband for years, also the PJ bottoms, and he LOVES THEM, never dsisappointed I LOVE LL BEAN...have also purchased the Boat and Totes...love them too.

Best flannel shirt I ever bought. Long tails stay tucked in no matter what. I need more of these.

I've had a number of these and they have all been great. They are soft and comfortable and last a long time. I never even consider buying another brand when I am looking for a flannel shirt.

A perfect shirt that lives up to your description. Fits fine, high quality feel and appearance. Could not expect more - - and the deliverary time was unbelievable short. I love shopping online from the catalog.

I've had great success in buying these shirts almost every year for many years. Always enjoy wearing them during the winter months. Glad they are made so well, that they last for quite a long time.

This is my second flannel shirt purchase as I was so pleased with the other color version of this shirt I ordered a couple of weeks ago. Was exactly what I wanted. Fit perfectly and provided the winter weight warmth I wanted. Neither has been through a wash yet so can't comment on shrink. Price was excellent, less than I expected for the value as L.L.Bean clothes always last exceptionally long. I still have a microfiber windbreaker that is five years old and still looks first-rate.

My husband loves these shirts, and he has many of them, but this is his favorite plaid. It looks very sharp and he is warm and comfortable in it. Great gift for any man in your life.
