Heads-up, the Tall size is for VERY TALL men. The sleeves and tails are quite a bit longer than the last 3 I bought a couple years ago.

Sleeves were too long and shoulder seams should have been wider, otherwise fine

6'2" 200 lb. Tall and size large are usually my fit, but large is way too big for me in this case.

It hurts me to write this review. My previous Bean flannel shirts are my absolute favorite articles of clothing. Unfortunately, they've sent me a flannel dress. The quality is amazing, the flannel is super soft, but I'm not planning on tucking these in, and they fall halfway down my thigh, so I would never wear them. If I weren't such a Hobbit, I'm sure the length would be fine, as it is, I'm afraid I'm returning it.

I like the color of this shirt very much. I wouldn't recommend the shirt because I find the fabric too thin, and I don't think it is warm enough.

Disappointed. These aren't made like they used to be. Instead of sending back because two buttons were nearly falling off when the short was opened, I sewed them back on to make shirt useable. I shouldn't have to do that with a brand new shirt from L.L. Bean.

My husband has worn a size M in flannel shirts from Beans for years. He gets at least one almost every Christmas. His arms have not shrunk but the sleeves on this shirt are too long. It is wearable but we're disappointed.

These shirts have a couple of problems as compared with alternatives. First, the button-down collars are too small giving an overall non-luxurious, i.e., skimpy impression. and, second, the material itself reinforces that impression.

Very soft and did not lose softness when washed but lost shape/crispness after one washing in cold water and directions say not to iron, so it goes from a cold weather somewhat occasional dressy option to a strictly everyday, dress-down/work shirt after one washing.

This shirt was soft and fit, but I expected more quality from L.L.Bean, And definitely for the price.

I bought my first Bean flannel in the Blackwatch tartan. I'm super careful with my clothes, especially drying. This shirt started pilling after two washes. And the sleeves shrank a bit. So now I only hand wash it, like fine linen. Grrrr. Punchline: I bought another here recently, because I like the gray Stewart pattern. It will never touch a washer or dryer. Be ye forewarned.

Not what I hoped. Color is darker than it appears on the website and the length is too long to wear untucked. Fabric also pilled pretty significantly on first wash.

The shirt is large for a size large. I've been buying LL Bean for years and am not thrilled about the sizing

Light Weight Flannel. Expected it to be thicker. Very soft and comfortable, just not that warm.

Really love the quality of theses flannels, but paid $8 for monogram didn't realize how small this was going to be really not worth it.

I was disappointed in the quality of my recent purchase of the Men's Scotch Plaid Flannel shirt. There must be a new manufacturer because I have bought flannel shirts in the past and they still look good, years later. I had this shirt not even a month and it has pilled and looked old and worn.

This is a beautiful shirt and a great weight. Unfortunately the sleeves on the large were too long. The length was great, though. A medium size was not large enough. I returned it.

Nice shirt but the sizing seemed way off. Got my husband a medium (he's usually between a medium and a large) and it was excessively big. Need to exchange for a different size.

This shirt was about 2 sizes larger than when I bought the exact same shirt in a different color a year ago. Great quality shirt, bought again in a different size/style, but just be careful with size.

I'm 6'1" , 230lbs. Ordered a reg. xl and probably should have ordered a tall. It doesn't launder as well as I expected but then my expectations may not have been reasonable. All in all a good shirt and a good value, but not great.

Disappointed with the fit, ordered a large regular, fits like a extra large tall. This was a second order for the same shirt that fit very well that I had accidently spilled bleach on. I checked the tag to be sure that the correct size had been shipped.

Fabric quality was great. However, the fit/sizing was way off. The 2XL shirt was the size of a normal 3XL or even 4XL shirt.

I have been buying L.L.Bean flannel shirts for decades. They have always been comfortable and soft. Problem is they no longer last. The elbows in almost every shirt wear out. Based on the exorbitant prices they charge they should last a little longer. I would never buy another dark green nightwatch pattern. They are different in everything sticks to them. Overall the quality needs improvement at the price charged.
