Ordered a Large - it was the equivalent of an XXL. Tagged correctly but this thing is sized incredibly large and fits like a rectangle.

I love llbean flannel shirts. They are expensive but the ones my husband has worn for years washed so beautifully. They never needed to be touched up and went from dryer to hanger. This one looked wrinkled and cannot be worn without being pressed even tho it says do not iron. Are you using different cloth? He got a total of 4 new shirts but I don't know if I'll buy again

The torso girth and arm lengths are true to size, but this shirt is so long it stops at halfway down my thighs ( I got the Small in Regular). I wouldn't dare wearing this shirt untucked lest I appear like a boy wearing his father's clothes.

White is not white in the indigo tartan. It's cream, not clear in the photo.

Runs large. Extremely wide and long. They have a slimmer version available. In person the pattern appears too busy compared to the photo. The material is soft and good quality.

I ordered two of these shirts in an XXL Tall for my sons. They were huge!!! I sent them back and ordered a LTall which was still very big, but much better. The shirts are the longest Talls I have ever seen. MY sons love them because they are long!

The flannel is surprisingly long. We ordered a large, because that is his regular size, but need to return for a medium. This is definitely larger than normal. Good for layering if you want it large.

Was a mistake to order the long version. Simple large would have been correct.

Fits more like a Big n Tall flannel. Sleeves and length of shirt are too long. . Will have to get tailored.

Material was thinner than expected. For the price, not worth it.

Quality is great. Nice weight. My only gripe is that it's long. Sleeves fit true to length, but the body of the shirt is longer than I'd like. If you tuck your flannels in, this won't be an issue, but I prefer them untucked and feel it's longer than most of my other shirts. For reference, I'm 5'10" and purchased a Medium.

I ordered this shirt in a XL size. It was too big. I sent it back, since LL Bean has closed the only store within 50 miles of my house. I got a large which fit all right. Two weeks later , I received another unordered size large of the same shirt. I have returned the second un ordered shirt. I found that LL Bean charged my credit card twice for this purchase. I like the second shirt. I am very disappointed in the LL Bean service.

I am a little disappointed in the weight of this flannel shirt. I'v ordered other flannels from L L Bean in the past and they were all a heavier weight. I still like and will keep it, but I am a bit reluctant to order any more.

I've bought Bean's Scotch plaid flannel shirts since the early 1970s. They served me well, even when I was in the Peace Corps and the shirts were handwashed on rocks in Africa. I'd easily get years of wear from them. Nearly all of these shirts that I've purchased over the last 8 or so years just don't hold up, even though I'm using a washing machine and air dry the shirts. Now I find that I only get a year or two of useo before the collars start to go. That's with maybe with 3-4 days of wear/month. Unrelated, I wish Beans would offer more of the traditional patterns, as they did way back then.

Love the material but this item is much too big. I used to be able to trust LLB sizing but not anymore. Nothing is standard. Even piece to piece of the same ordered item is different.

My son and husband will open these shirts at Christmas so a review is not appropriate yet. However, the charged price of $59.95, was more than the price tag on the garment. I called CS and they are supposed to credit my account $20 ( I purchased 2 shirts),

LL Bean sizing is off from other brands. Ordered some large shirts and they're enormous. But mediums are too snug. The patterns and materials are great but the fit is too off. Probably won't buy LL Bean clothing anymore.
