It is a warm shirt, but I notice it is not made as strong as the one I bought from LL Bean 30 years ago, which I am still wearing. It is nice, but do not expect it to last as long as the original flannel shirt they once made.

I bought this for my husband. It is so soft, he likes it, and it looks great on him. I was happy to see the tall option, but it was much longer than I expected and almost too longon my 6ft 5in husband the hem was almost tunic-length. Not sure what kind of tall men they're making these shirts for! It's not a big deal, but if I got another one I would probably buy the regular size.

I love my flannel shirts. I specifically love LL Bean's flannel shirts, especially the scotch plaid shirts. Something however changed. I compared this flannel shirt to other LL Bean flannel shirts I already had and the shirt tails (front and back) are 1 to 2 inches longer than previous shirts. Now, I don't generally tuck in flannel shirts but this newest shirt has a lot of shirt to tuck in, more than it should. I thought maybe I made a mistake and ordered a TALL XXL instead of a regular XXL. I did not. I ordered the right size. My challenge is always in the shoulders. If I get regular XL I have trouble moving my arms but the body of the shirt is tuckable. If I get regular XXL the shoulders work much better but I usually have more shirt in the body than I need. Someone told me to try slim or trim fit and get the regular XXL but those are way too snug especially across my back. Mind you, nothing I have said here will keep me from buying more flannel from LL Bean ---- but they could fit me better.

Beautiful shirt and well made. I got the medium tall because of my arm length. I crossed my fingers when I washed and dried it. The sleeves did shorten a little but I can live with it.

As many other reviewers have mentioned, the newer version of this shirt wrinkles something terrible! Even after removing directly from the dryer and hanging up, it is wrinkled. Won't let my husband wear it anywhere before it is ironed. Previous purchases did not have this problem at all. Only buy if you are willing to iron every washing.

Looks great but will not know it's true value until it's washed 1/2 a dozen times.

Love this shirt. Soft and warm...but not too warm.

Shirt was very comfortable and warm. Fit well too. Only issue with the flannel shirts is that over time the collar seems to not stay as stiff.

Obviously the shirt is a tall reg, not a large reg that I wanted the sleeves are much to long store tag said lg reg! to far to go to replace,1 hour drive.otherwise the shirt warm and I Geta lot of complaments one looks.

I have worn LL Bean flannel shirts for decades, they look good, are comfortable and warm, and wear like iron getting several winters before replacement. I purchased four shirts. These were good but not as good as in the past. When first washed excessive lint, some "pilling", and one shirt lost a button. I will buy them again but if the quality drops further might start looking elsewhere.

All the flannel shirts I have purchased from L L Bean (6) are exactly as I had hoped. They all fit very well, including sleeve and body length (I am a tall person), and are warm and comfortable.

A little thin but stitching is great, very soft and mu wife says I look great

Just the right weight. Washes well and is nice enough for casual office wear.

Nice shirt but LLBean seems to think if you have a big belly you must have long arms. Shirts always seems to have longer than needed arm length

I love LL Bean for decades! Exceptional quality and customer service! However, I noticed that this years order of flannel mens shirts that they are not as heavy weight flannel! Much lighter weight than past years! I was disappointed with overall quality especially for the price point! Fit is true to size! Fast delivery by UPS ! I guess in today's world that quality is better than average..however, not the quality and fit and finish of years passed!

This was a nice shirt. Loved the design & color but I was hoping it would be a thicker flannel like the older ones I've bought from llbean years ago. I sent it back.

I've been buying these shirts for years. They're very soft and cozy. There is better flannel out there, but I like the fullness of the cut in LLBean's Traditional version because I use these as overshirts and they don't restrict my shoulders when I'm working in the yard. These are very soft, and LLBean has some nice lighter colors if you shop early enough in the fall season. They lose their shape now after one washing, which looks sloppy to me. I don't wear them anywhere but home, so I can live with that because... they're very soft! And they retain that softness after washing. We all have our priorities. : )

Great flannels. Wee bit pricey. Medium size with minimal shrinkage after washing. Not my first.

Nice shirt but I didn't realize no right front pocket or button closure on the left pocket. These things are needed, so I didn't give it 5 starts.

A bit long compared to the one my husband wore for years (that finally gave up the ghost), but an excellent replacement for an alltime favourite.

Bought 3 shirts. Excellent fabric and colors. Very well made. Size (large) generally good, but sleeves are on the long side.

Nice fit, good arm length, not thrilled with quality. I believe this is slightly different than lasts years quality.

Your shirts are the best, however the shirts I order (large classic fit) are not all the same, the sizeing are sometimes longer in length, l can wear them ok but I prefer them to all fit the same.

Bought two of these shirts for gifts. One was more or less fine but the blue and white plaid fabric pilled to the point where I have to "shave" it so it looks good enough to wear outside the house. Interestingly, the inside of the shirt does not pill. Way too expensive a product to have to shave it after every washing.
