The colors are good. It is just the size of a 2 XL.

When I order plaid flannel shirts from LL Bean, they always arrive in a much darker, duller color than my monitor had shown. I like the monitor colors much better. Wish LLBean would sell the colors they used to...much nicer to put on a cherry shirt in the dreary winter months.

The shirt is not as heavy as I would have expected.

Shirt fit well, but was too long for 6'2" son. Really liked the RobRoy pattern. Exchanged for a mens large.

Fannel shirts are excellent quality flannel. My husband has several that are close to 10 years old, warm, cozy and wear like iron.

I've worn this twice it's very comfortable and warm. It's slightly big do hopefully it will shrink a bit. It should be good for the upcoming winter.

Soft and comfortable shirt - sizing a bit large. Overall good value.

We noticed that LLBean is making their regular size shirt much longer than they used to be. My husband likes to wear his flannel and casal shirts out, and the last two we ordered were way longer than we really like. We kept the shirts because the fabric and style is good but wish the company would return their sizing to what they offered in the past.

Extremely comfortable. Could use another button. Could use a larger pocket.

My Scotch Plaid is excellent with one exception - the fabric started pilling in the second year. The Indigo Tartan color is awesome. The fit and craftsmanship were excellent. The medium weight of the fabric is very nice and exactly as described. But the pilling after wearing for a while is not attractive.

Light weight flannel is very comfortable. Nice cut and style. Only drawback is very slight shrinkage in the dryer.

Nice shirt. Not as heavy As some flannel shirts that I've purchased in the past. The sleeves of the Large size I bought run slightly longer. Maybe they shrink down a bit after a couple washings.

I have been purchasing items from L.L Bean for years and have never had a complaint for any items i have purchased

Have been ordering these for more than 20 years now. My husband actually has three of this particular shirt, he loves the Blackwatch Flannel. This order the shirt threads are not as thick as normally received, but I was also suprised that the price had not gone up either so there is the tradeoff in today's market. Since we live in Maine I would prefer the heavier thread weight.

soft, warm, lightweight, fits well (neither too tight, nor too loose), and they keep offering ever more aesthetically appealing patterns... therefore, gentle reader, i must keep purchasing (must i not?).

Light weight flannel shirt. Fit was excellent and plaid color was very good. It is not a heavy outdoor flannel, but very nice.

Comfortable, warm flannel shirt, I like it a lot and would gladly recommend it!

Sleeves great. Body a bit large. Sleeves a tad long but will shrink to just right after wash/dry.

Love the plaid, but fabric seems thinner than when shirt was first offered to customers.

Love the colors. The fit is perfect. I gave 4stars because the material is thin compared to my landsends scotch plaid flannel. But so far I liked it.

I received my shirt the other day. Great fit and very comfy. I ordered the Cranston - green. The actual color of the shirt is 3-4 shades darker than what is shown in the catalog and online. But not so much that I will send it back. I purchased a flannel shirt of the same style last year. When it arrived, it was nothing close to the color shown in the catalog and online. The images shown were of a bright greenish blue. What I received was a medium brown shirt with green highlights. I called to let them know of the tremendous difference. They took it back and paid all shipping costs. I wish they would check what they show in the catalog and online with what they're actually shipping. Otherwise very satisfied..

Great texture, super comfy! I wish it were just a smidge thicker.

Very soft, smooth, and comfortable. The patchwork of the coloring is a little odd, but does make it more interesting.

Nice shirt feels good. Bought the black watch/dress Gordon (on sale) not a great color combination but solid shirt (I just wear something over it.) Other colors might be better.
