Shoe fits well, looks good and is very comfortable. My issue is one of the cloth lace eyelets ripped out of the right shoe after maybe wearing them 10 times. Need to rethink that design.

The shoes look great but they don't feel great. We had high expectations from a brand of Johnston Murphy where quality and comfort are of utmost importance. We returned and hope that we get a full refund.

I have had 4 pairs of these in different colors. The shoes with the painted soles do not hold up and they should never have been made this way. Painted foam is cheap and doesn't last. Already have a scratch after wearing 1 time.

This shoes are horrible if you encounter any kind of moisture on the ground. The soles have vents between the heel and arch. If you step in least amount of moisture on the ground, they suck it up into the shoe like a sponge. Then you are stuck walking around with wet socks.

For me the shoes seem like they're poorly designed. The leather heal support is so rigid, and the insole is too thick, my foot did not fit inside the heel support section, and the hard leather piece rubbed the back of my ankle severely. I was surprised by this and a 10.5 and 10 both felt the same. The most uncomfortable shoe i've ever worn. I did return them in store and found another pair, similar in style that I LOVE. I think it was the CX4 or something like that. My new favorite pair of shoes.

Shoe didn't stay on my heel. It was almost like the heel area of the shoe wasn't deep enough to lock in the heel.

I bought a pair of these on Johnston Murphy website. One of the shoelace loops broke not even 9 months after I bought it. I own two other pairs of Johnston Murphy shoes and this is putting a sour taste in my mouth.

I love these shoes ( I have 2 pair) but my pair of gray ones began to come apart inside the left one. I was out without another pair of shoes and by the time I took them off I had a large abrasion on my instep. I was not expecting that from a pair of JM shoes. I'm very disappointed!

I've had the shoes and worn them for a month and they are already separating at the toe and the gray is wearing off the front of the shoe. I would expect much better quality for a shoe this price. Very disappointed. I've liked Johnston & Murphy in the past but not sure I'll come back.

Terrible shoe. They look nice but the fit and function of the shoe is terrible. I sent back for a refund.

I really wanted to like these shoes, as they are light and comfortable. However, they have a problem that is impossible to overlook: the sole is aggressively non-waterproof. I don't expect most shoes to be waterproof to the extent that XC4 ones from J&M are, but I do expect the sole to not directly vent through to the bottom. I hadn't noticed this problem until I stepped in a shallow puddle (which didn't go up above the level of the rubber sole). Little did I realize that the insole/bottom sole has mesh in it that ensures that water splashes up through both soles, soaking one's sock and foot. As far as I can tell, there is only mesh between the insole and outside (on the bottom). This does make it vent very well but also makes it entirely unsuitable for even slightly wet conditions. I'm disappointed partly because J&M has never previously let me down. I decided to switch to XC4 sneakers for my most recent purchase and have been very happy with those. However, I would not recommend these shoes to people living anywhere it might rain.

I bought these and wore them five or six times until part of the inside came loose and took the skin off my foot. They are unwearable now. Too bad because they are handsome shoes and we're comfortable until they came apart.

Shoes were incorrectly advertised and will not work for me. Contacted customer service (Ashley....spoke to her....and said she would get back to me...buy never did. I am a good customer of J&M...check history. Would like these shoes replaced with slip om's...at not charge. Need slip on's because I recently had hip replacement surgery and feet are swollen. Very dissappointed!

Very bad quality! Black paint comes off easily from the shoe and is white underneath. Won't ever buy again

Waste of money the front toes too tight and the material tore the first time I drove the car as the top part of My right foot caught on the underside of the break when I was adjusting my feet and legs while driving Terrible material

Light blue paint on sole "chipped" off pretty quickly. Definitely does not have the look that matches the price.

Loved the shoe BUT J & J seldom if ever carries wide widths. Consequently, had to return the shoes, and selections are limited in Wide widths.

Great looking shoe. While I don't feel I have a wide foot, unfortunately the fit/cut of the shoe is much too narrow for me.

This is a horrible shoe and should never be purchased by someone who needs support. They are stylish but aweful support and I can't wear them. Have 2 pair and they stay in the box. Feel very unbalanced when I wear them. I will never purchase anything else from J&M. Feel robbed by this shoe.

My third time wearing the shoes one of the cloth eyelets tore loose from the shoe. One shoestring now does not cover the arch of my foot correctly.
