Generally I love ASICS. Dor these Gel Venture 8s, I ordered the Wide (W) in 10. These felt like 9 1/2 Regular width.
I would have loved to keep these because the arch support felt so good, but my big toe was hitting the very tip of the shoe, which is odd. I am a true size 10, so 90% of the time 10s fit me perfectly in length.
Toe box felt okay, but not roomy like you would expect from a wide.
I’ll be exchanging one half size up, so we’ll see.

Fit and size were great. Hard pressure in the ball of my foot. I have not experienced this with my other shoes. My legs hurt after my walks. Disappointed that I picked these. My previous ASICS were great, just old.

These seem to be smaller then other venture shoes I have purchased. My feet/heels are painful when wearing these shoes.
I wish I still had the box, I would return these in a heartbeat.

a whole size too small and the cuff at the back cut into my heel. i really need a rounder toe and lower profile shoe.

I have had 2 pairs of Asics Kahana 8, with good arch support, these not so. While they are lighter than the Kahanas the Venture is not as cushioned.

Not true to size and very little support. I usually buy the ASICS that are twice as expensive and now I know why. This was cheaper and they felt like it. Will be returning.

Lovey colors and great styling but as previous reviews mentioned these felt very narrow overall and particularly in the toe box, even though I ordered the wide width to accommodate my wider foot and low arches. I was also not that impressed with the arch support, though that’s what this model was supposed to be great for. They are alas going back.

The colors are much more vibrant and almost neon. I considered returning because they were just so obnoxious but I figured I should give them a chance. The comfort is good and they provide the support needed for being on my feet while at work. I just do not like the difference in appearance from what is advertised.

These run a full size small, so order up! I tried three pairs before settling on a full size up, but then the toe box was too big/wide for me.

I feel like I've been living in Asics trail runners for my entire adult life. They've been comfortable right out of the box and I can wear them everywhere. My Gel Venture 5s were getting pretty thin on the tread so I ordered these, and my toes keep getting smashed up on the downhills. I just figured out today that the toe box is so much narrower on these. The sole is the same but the upper/fabric part is much tighter. Very disappointing from a shoe that until now has always been comfortable right out of the box.

I had to get NB ones and it is drastically different on support etc.
The ASICS are worse than steel insoles and they still haven’t “broke them in”. I wish I could get a refund.

I bought these for my job ( I'm a custodian at a local school and walk alldayon concrete), and because my old pair, which were great, were getting worn after several years needed to be replaced. First 1-2 hours on the job were fine; then my feet started to hurt...by the end of my shift I was limping and close to tears my feet hurt so badly....and they continued to hurt for a few days after. Very disappointed.

The shoe is very nice looking, but the material is thin and cheap for the toes andtongue. The laces are absolutely crap, they were frayed when they arrived and no back ups came with them.

I bought these as yard shoes, I usually wear Brooks adrenaline or Hoka Speed Goats.....these were garbage. My feet were so sore and tired for several days after. They feel about like a 3yr old pair of blown out running shoes, maybe worse because the sole is so terrible.

If was a much tighter fit than my previous Aisics. My toe was bumping right up against the front of the shoe. Soul felt very flat, little to no arch support.
