Hate these shoes, it feels like my big toe nails are going to fall off when I wear them. I bought 6 wide, however they just don't feel wide at all. Don't buy if you have wide feet, because they're unbearable.

The Marking in the shoes was wrong is a US 8 not US 8 1/2

I buy and wear a lot of ASICS. I think this pair was mislabeled. I purchased a 9.5 to have a little extra room. If these were an 8 I would be surprised. Could not even get my foot in the shoe.

Size runs super small. I ordered same size and my other ASICS and these were too small.

I have always taken a size 8.5 in Asics. This new style runs smaller and maybe even a little narrower. Am returning.

Loved the Venture 7 but the Venture 8 are not comparable. They're much shorter, have less padding, and have a shorter heel cup. Had to return them. If you need cute shoes to go to and from your car, they're fine. if you need more than that, they're bad.

Why to tight on my feet.

Ordered two pair, with each pair, the right shoe was smaller (on two different girls), buy about a 1/4 size). Something is for sure off.

These are completely different in comfort from the Gel-Venture 7. Although they felt ok walking around the house, when I actually took to the streets in them it became possible to feel a strange mass under the ball of my foot that caused excruciating pain in my foot which lasted for several days.

I have 2 pair of Venture 7, the previous version of this shoe and they fit perfectly. Alas! Those are no longer available. This next generation is 1/4 inch shorter and are not comfortable. I see on the boxes that Venture 7 was made in Viet Nam and Venture 8 were made in Cambodia. Won’t buy again!

I have been wearing this same shoe through several iterations. It has always had a reasonably wide toe box to fit my foot-shaped feet. So when my Gel Venture 7s wore out from almost a thousand miles of walking, I didn't hesitate to buy a pair of Gel Venture 8s in the same size. Except this is not the same shoe. This now has a very standard toe box that absolutely does not fit. Why do shoe companies do this?? Returning this pair asap.

I can't really say how the fit was because I couldn't get my orthotics in them and couldn't remove the pad in the bottom of the shoe. Very disappointed but it seems like Asics are just not for me.

They are labeled "ortholite", and when on your foot look wide and sloppy. Felt like I was wearing great grandma's ortho sneakers. AND they felt weird on my foot.

I wear size 9W but these shoes were shorter and narrower than my usual brand. Unable to evaluate the arch support.

These shoes run small. I always wear size 8 but my toes were pressing against the shoe box so I had to return them. I usually really like Asics and I like the style and color of these.

My feet hurt in these shoes. They were not wide or comfortable.

Very disappointed in these sneakers. I was hoping to have a supportive shoe to take walks and they are too narrow for my feet. I have size 11 regular width shoes that fit better. Not sure how these can be classified as wide.

These shoes feel too narrow. Have only worn them twice for less than 30 minutes. Did not realize how narrow they were until I walked.
