The toe box seems to have gotten bigger. And, I'm just not a fan of the gel insoles. They become noticeably less comfortable if I wear them more than 2-3 hours.

Ignore Asics' size chart. I reviewed an order from years ago and it was 1 size larger than their measurements. Toe area seems to be flatter than previous Gel series. These shoes replaced an older Gel line that ran from 2012-2016. Time will tell if these last a few thousand miles like the older line did. Shoes breathe well and material seems to be of similar quality to their older Gel lines. I will update the review in a year. Perhaps breaking them in over a few months of walking and jogging will make the difference. Right now I have about 12 hours of activity logged on them.

I had to return the sneakers as they were too tight on the width. Sneakers were never worn except for around the house to try them out. Then we’re returned just over a week ago. Just waiting for my charges to be credited to my CC.

I ordered French Blue/Pure Silver. Shoes are a completely different color than picture on zappo's website. They are a dark navy blue, almost black. Not the color I was expecting at all. I returned them. Also, if I had kept them I would have had to return for a size 11, I usually wear a 10.5, so they run a bit small, at least for my foot. Thanks to zappo's for good return policy.

They are smaller than my last pair. I don't have time to send them back and reorder larger. Need a new pair this week so they will have to be tight until I hope they break in a little.

Unfortunately, I had to return these, as they were a bit small and they were hurting my toes. I was a little surprised, because I recently purchased a similar pair, same size 9.5 (also ASICS) and they feel great.
Good news is that I have received my credit already and I'll be back!

These shoes seem made at the minimum level, a bit on the cheap side. Probably made in China or Vietnam. As a result, these aren't American sizes, they're too small, they run just a bit too short. They look good but they're a bit heavy and don't fit true to size.

Having read about how the toe box had been made roomier I had hopes that the size 13 would fit OK. Turned out to be very short and narrow in the toe. I've got a pair of gt2000s in 13.5 that fit ok, but these go to whole sizes from 13 on up. Every size 14 I've tried feels like Clown Shoes so I didn't bother trying that size.
Also I just wish Asics would make some nice supportive runners like the old Gel 33's that I wore till the sole was gone.

The size fit good but the support and quality weren't there. I have a high arch and was recommended a more neutral shoe but my feet get sore and the toes have already started to fall apart on both shoes.

For Trail Running shoes I felt they provided very basic, at best, support for street walking. I will not be using these for any running. Laces are some of the cheapest I've experienced in many years. They stay tied but they're like tying a ribbon. Would not recommend.
