Strange sizing. Was 11.5 in GEL-venture 7 and loved them. This, I ordered the same size here and it was too big so I went down half a size to 11 and that is unfortunately too big too! Will try one last time and order 10.5 but if that doesn’t fit will have to abandon this style.

The size was way off (large), and seems more of a intermittent manufacturing/QA related than anything. (Having worn several pairs of Asics over the years.) -- Functionally it was a full 1/2-3/4 size larger; even measured the sole against other Asics Gel Ventures (same size and sole pattern, but prior versions). Also, the toe-box of the shoe was jammed so full of paper (packaging paper) it was essentially blown out and oversized (contributing to the general oversize problem). -- Otherwise always enjoy Asics shoes.

Have another pair of similar Aisics, so choosing the correct size was a breeze. The shoes are very cushiony and comfortable. My feet feel like they're bouncing a little when walking over hard services, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. My other Aisics have held up well over the year + I've had them and I expect these to be the same. Can't say the same for a number of New Balances I've owned. The only complaint I have are the laces: they are too thin and too long.

I really like this shoe. It’s supportive and comfortable. Being a gel time I had expected the foot bed to be more cushioned, but it’s good.

It took a bit of adjusting with my orthotic inserts, but they fit OK now

In any other shoe I wear 12-4E but in this shoe I had to buy a 13-4E. If they had a 12.5-4E it would be perfect but that’s not available. However it is roomy and comfortable. The insole is very basic and I replaced it with a Merrel base insole and wow that made it feel awesome. Good shoe for the money. It is my second pair of Ascis after wearing New Balance nearly exclusively for over 10 years.

I have very wide but not very long feet, so I have trouble finding shoes that fit me well. Ironically, these size-10 4x-E wide shoes are *just* a hair tight on my toes, not even a quarter-size worth; ironic because another size-10 pair I bought at the same time are perfect length-wise. I expect, though, that this will go away as the shoes adjust to my feet. The width is perfect.

Depending on the style or brand of shoe, I move between a 13 and 14 in sneakers, in most cases. These 13s were on the smaller scale for me and my toe was uncomfortably at the end of the toe box. I also purchased this shoe in different colors in size 14 and that fit much better. I have long but thinner feet and I read that Asics tend to work better for narrower feet. That said, when moving around while elevated on the soles of my feet in these shoes, the bend of the shoe pinches the outside of my foot and little toe, even after loosening the shoe up in the toe box. I noticed this a little when walking, but much more so when shuffling left to right in certain exercises. I compared these to a pair of New Balance shoes, and the Asics have a more neutral feeling of support. Though slightly elevated, toe to heel, they don't feel significant, which is what I was looking for. Somewhere between a cross-trainer and running shoe. However, the mesh upper with this design felt looser around my foot when tightened up, unless I tightened to the point I got that pinch feeling, so these don't work well for me. I love how light and airy they are, as they feel well vented. The downside to this is that morning and afternoon grass will wet socks and interior of the shoes more. The tread pattern is aggressive enough for trails, mild hiking, and training in grass, which is what I was looking for. In the hand these shoes feel really nice and I wanted to keep them longer term, but comfort on the foot is more important, and that pinch is a no-go for me.

The 8's seemed a bit snug, unfortunately a bigger size was not available, refunding pricess was easy.

Really great show for casual wear and walking. Feels slightly wider than other asics shoes of a similar style, but the width is fine.

Have always been limited to New Balance because I need at least 4E width. This was the first time I tried ASICS - the width was very slightly tighter than NB but it was ok.

I returned this pair because at size 10 there was too much room in the front area of the shoe. Otherwise it was well made.
