I've been buying ASICS Gel-Venture or Gel Contend for several years for myself and my twin boys. We go through two pairs each year. We buy new ones around Eastern and then again in the fall right before school starts. These are reasonably-priced, comfortable, reliable shoes.

Can't really say much about the shoe, since the fit wasn't right for me.

Okay guys, there were fine even if they ran a little small in the toe box. HOWEVER - they are so wide beyond the arch that they literally felt like clown shoes. Just crazy.

I've been wearing these since they were 5 series. Before, I'd returned many shoes because they hurt. I had Plantar Fasciitis in both feet, followed by severe arthritis of the metatarsals causing my feet to widen. I got size 4E for extra foot room. I'd wear the arch supports out of the 5's in 6 months. I kept buying them because they worked for me. Series 6 supported me a little longer. Series 7 even more when they added memory foam. This was my first pair of series 8. I bought these specifically for the gym use only. They contoured with my foot well, there was no break in period. I was able to train legs and back with no discomfort whatsoever. Since I just got these, I can't brag too much. If something changes, I'll update. If your feet hurt from most shoes, give these a try. Oh, and I do like the style, design, and colors better. If I could change something, I'd make these in solid colors like black and green.

I'm satisfied

Been wearing Asics for years as a runner. Now that those days are behind me, Asics still are great shoes: fit, comfort & style.

The Right shoe did not fit right. The toe area in the right shoe really rubbed hard on my middle toes, I loosened the lace and walked with it that way, but no relief. I wore them to church and home. No relief even with the laces loosened. It is probably a manufacturing defect. My oldies but goodies are still hanging in there, but needs to be replaced ,and so this order. Thanks, and Shalom Aleichem...

Very comfortable shoe! I had this in the Gel 7 for a couple years and they hold up very well.

This shoe is very comfortable and has excellent arch support. The shoe is also lightweight.

I love the design was better than anticipated

So the child says they are comfy and wide. The appear true to size, but seem to run a smidge bigger than the saucony of the same size.

First pair of Acsis shoes. Excellent sizing and arch support. Materials seem very durable and very nice styling.

Look great and the price can’t be beat but these are way too narrow for 4E widths. Going back today.

The fit was good

These shoes are very comfortable. The footbed has a soft plush feeling. I can’t speak for long term durability because I’ve only had them for 4 days, but I worked a ten hour shift the second day I had them, (I walk on concrete, stand all day, and pull around a pallet Jack frequently), and they were comfortable the whole shift. The amount of arch support is perfect for my feet. The fit was true in terms of length. The only complaint, and this may just apply to me, is that the shoe was a little big in terms of volume. The shoe would “cinch up” in the toe area a bit when the laces were tightened and the sections of the shoe that cover the tongue were too close. This made the shoe look a little “flat”. To remedy that, I added a thin flat insole on top of the existing insole, no arch support, just for volume, and now my foot fits and fills the shoe perfectly. It is even more plush feeling now, plus the shoe looks better when worn because it looks more filled out. For the money, I’m very happy with these.
