they fit fine but wearing them there was something on both shoes that was rubbing against the inside and outside edges of my feet - very uncomfortable and would have cause blisters with extensive wear, definitely got worse throughout the day. also no support, just flat and hard.

Good stuff

I've been an ASICS fan for years, I have a very low arch, an medium width. They have always been true to size all through the years. They just fit me perfect! I'm old now & just walk & play tennis a lot but they're still my favorite shoe!

Fit perfectly, great to have a wide (4E) option (which was not available on Amazon). Same price too, and free shipping, and a better warranty! I'll be back to Zappos as I try to wean myself off of Amazon!

Very cheap flimsy shoe. Not up to Asics good standard. Even the laces very cheap- like dental floss thickeness. No support either. Like walking with no sole. Donated to Goodwill for homeless in 1 week and purchased Brooks at REI.

I have very wide feet, size 11, 4E or 5E. Asics were recommended by my podiatrist and are now the only athletic shoes that I wear.

Well made, perfect for the gym

My goal for these was as a cross training shoe with some tread to use for a wide range of activities. I am size US10.5 but these were tight in that size especially in the toe box, so I returned them and got the US11 instead. Unfortunately the 11s are swimming on me but somehow still feel snug around the instep. When the laces are tightened they are uncomfortable, when loosened my foot moves around. The cushioning is suprisingly not that great especially in the forefoot. Because they're low-priced and I don't want to wear out my welcome with Zappos I am keeping them for around the house but as an all purpose workout/outdoor shoe they are far inferior to last year's Adidas GTX and even my Nike cross trainers from 10 years ago. The search continues...

Not much room in the toe area…. Cheap shoelaces…. Narrower than previous Contend series….overall, meh

Shoe sizing is not uniform. I ordered this shoe in Gray which had a satisfactory fit. I returned the Gray due to a color preference. The exchange pair arrived promptly, same size, same model, color Black. The replacement pair was more narrow, such that the shoe did not fit. Zappos has great service, and easy returns, but I ended up without a new pair of shoes. Starting over.

I have ordered various style of ASICS because they offer more 4E shoes than anyone accept new balance. They have always fit great. Not so with these. No way are they 4E. Placed side by side with old pair of gel venture 8 they clearly are not the same size. I have never had to return shoes to Zappos before so didn’t know the rules. I actually put them on my feet and walked around hoping they would work since the label said 4E. No they are not comfortable no I can’t wear them and no they are not returnable. When you open your next box of Zappos just look at them and if they don’t look like they will fit out em in the box and send em back. And don’t take the tag off either. Maybe I just got a mislabeled pair? I’m not giving up on ASICS but I am going to be buying my shoes locally where I can walk around in the shoes to see if they fit

I have purchased these shoes for years, the updated model is MUCH smaller!

Felt true to size but not half size large they run well my pair runs a little bigger feels a little loose but i can live with it, wide is good i was worried they be narrow i have a wide foot but not wide enough to get the wide size, i also have a DVT so my foot and ankle swells and these fit good on my foot with some room to spare. they may feel loose to me because i do not wear regular socks but compression stockings which are very thin so they may very well run true to size. Everyone complains about the laces, they are flat laces and not round ones i have no problem with them in fact the flat ones stay tied better. They are a little pointed at the toe but my foot fit comfortably. the silver looks grayer than silver. All in all, a good pair and Zappo's good fast delivery as always.

Joe usually wears a wide but the medium fit great! Very good support..firm soul.

I don't run but wear Asics for cushioning and arch support due to torn tendons in my ankles caused my very high arches. Asics are the best that I've found for cushion and also accommodate my custom orthotics. I wish they designed more subtle "street" styling, but these aren't too bad. Also, I compared these to many higher end Asics gel runners and actually preferred these.

Walk a lot on the trail with my two furry friends. Asics offer a degree of comfort and hold up well.

These shoes wore out in a couple months of me walking five miles a day
