These are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn...highly recommended

I tried this boot against the BOG. This boot won with its width (wider), weight (lighter for the height coverage), and more comfortable. I normally take a 12W, but fit nicely in a 13D, with room to spare for a pair of LL Bean SmartWool sox.

Couldn't be happier. They are warm, heavy duty, and don't slip on the ice. Love them. Have tried all the top brand winter boots. These are the best.

The Muck Boot is the best. Just back from a week of tromping through the mud of Alaska, these boots go on and come off (relatively) easily when you want them to, but stay on in deep mud, plus give traction as a boot for hiking. Rate an A+ (and much cheaper than anything else I could find of this caliber).

Fit & size we’re good. Material was fine but my pair seemed to leak from the front. The underneath of my removable soles were wet, about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon full of water. The right boot has more leak than the left side. I have to return the pair and order Bogs.

I'm a huge fan of Muck Boots. I have multiple pairs for hunting in Michigan. I bought these boots for day-to-day Michigan winter weather. Love the look and feel of these boots. My only complaint is minor build quality issues. I can see adhesive smears in various areas on the boots. Nothing bad enough for a return, but something Muck should focus on to maintain a premium product.

Good quality boot. Very loose fit even with thick socks though. I added in Dr Scholls arch support inserts which makes the boot fit much better.

my only beef with these footwear is that the rim of the boots rubbed and wore the skin around my shins and calfs raw when i wore them the first time in ny ... i had socks but not up to my knees they are probably fine if u have proper thick shin socks or layers of protection and fabrics but my first experience is somewhat painful and still recovering from the raw skin...

These boots are a bit on the wide and heavy side, but are definitely warm and keep your feet dry!

The Arctic Sport Muck boots are warm, waterproof and comfortable. Great for working outdoors for extended periods of time. One small suggestion would be for a lining at the top inside rim of the boot. After several hours, the rim tends to chafe slightly unless one wears very high socks. This problem could be alleviated by adding a small amount of softer material on the inside top rim of the boot. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

I am a mail carrier and these are great for walking in rain and snow or the cold for that matter, BUT....... they are no where are warm as the claim. BUT.... if you are walking or moving around they are warm when wearing medium weight marino wool socks, but if you are standing in the same spot for a while in the cold, your feet WILL get cold.

These are wonderfully made boots, and the warmest ever made. But I didn't really like how the mid height hit on my calf and decided to go for the full height.

Hello all you Beanie's out there Jersey Jeff here. I wanted to give a preliminary review of this fine boot. Unexpectedly comfortable! I haven't taken them out into the elements yet due to the fact there has been no elements to take them out into. I can tell you they are extremely comfortable and fit true to size. I wear a men 8.5 so I ordered the 9 and the fit well with a light sock and a heavy sock. I can't wait to test these babies out. Four stars due to the fact that I haven't tracked through the back bays with them yet. More to come.

I bought these boots because i heard a fisherman who works out on the water even in the cold months told my friend these were the best boots he ever bought. They kept his feet warm and dry and i have to say the boots i bought are doing the same for me. I like the convenience of not having to lace up my boots everytime i want to go somewhere too. The fit is a little loose, but with heavy socks they should fit just fine (which i think is what they were designed for). The only improvement i can think of is if they stitched the sole components together, which i think would improve the durability of this boot. But i've had no issues with this boot and am looking forward to many years hunting and fishing in them; and i would definitely recommend them.

I ordered these for my husband because his job would be taking him to cold and sometimes mucky conditions. He hasn't had them very long, but so far so good. He says they feel comfortable and warm. The only thing he would add is steel toes.

These boots fit me fine, are warm, and have good traction on ice and snow. I tended to tuck my jeans into the boots because the top front edge of the boot would otherwise rub on my shin as I walked. These boots are made in China, in case you're interested. This wouldn't have stopped me from buying them but I did try to consider this when shopping on llbean.com and I did not see this fact listed anywhere. I think L.L. Bean should indicate country of origin on all their products.

Almost never write reviews but this time I just had to. First, hats off to LL Bean's customer service. Bought these boots even though I have a wide foot (EE). Tried them on and was convinced they were too tight. Called LL Bean to exchange them for the Bean version (more expensive). The woman I spoke with said, "Don't do it, they will conform to your feet. You'll love them,...". She was absolutely correct! One snow storm, bunch of mud, a few soccer games, two days cutting wood and the boots feel like slippers. Second, the boots are fanastic, buy em! Enough said.

I was excited when the boots arrived. They looked just like what I wanted. Getting them on was extremely difficult. Finally I got my foot in. Getting my feet out, I thought I pulled my low back out. Very tight. I was taken over by the quality of the boot and was going to try and go through a breaking in phase until I realized that the heel lifts your legs up just enough to cause low back problems. I was disappointed and sent them back. Really a nice boot - just not for me. Because of the heel elevation I wouldn't even try a larger size. They should come in different widths, especially for people that have feet that swell.

Honestly go for the high cut boots, the boots are great but within about 20 steps they will start to shred all the flesh off your shin regardless of socks or pants being in the way, the socks get shuffed to your ankles and the pants become a razor sharp rasping tool

Well made boots but they are very stiff and tight. I had to call my neighbor to help me get them off. I have other Muck products never had this problem. I will be returning them tomorrow.

I bought these to mostly shovel the driveway in the winter so luckily I won't be doing much walking because they are very stiff. Hopefully they will break in after some use at least a little. When there's no bend in the foot it makes it a little weird to walk. Other than that the fit is just right for me so no heavy socks, but they seemed to keep my feet warm in cold temps. Also I removed the super thin flat felt insoles and replaced them with a quality foam pair with an arch. I would think at this price point there would be something with more substance included.

These boots felt very warm for the 30 seconds they were on my feet. However, I don't know how people walk in these boots. The toe-box is humongous. They look like space boots crossed with clown shoes. Also, the fit was not so great. It says to order up a size for half sizes. I am a 10.5 and I ordered the 11. It was way too big on my foot. If you double up socks maybe? In any case, I returned them and will have to look for something else.

The boot was a very nice sturdy boot, but my husband had trouble getting the boot on and off. Unfortunately they were sent back. Hopefully the boots with the zipper up the side will be easier for him to get on and off.
