The boots fit real nice and are good in cold weather.

Well made, warm even in VT, comfortable, rugged easy on and off. And if there is ice, put on yak tracks and you can go anywhere. The best winter boots i have ever owned. I have the tall ones too. I would buy again but I may never need to!

These boots are great for around the homestead in inclement weather especially snow or out hunting in all terrains. They're sure-footed, watertight and light weight.

Bought these for my son. He loves them. Keeps his feet warm and dry.

My husband says the boots feel like a pair of slippers. He has not tried them out in the cold or snow yet.

I initially bought a pair for my husband two years ago. He really loves them but shared them with me for walking the dogs in sloppy weather and snow in New Hampshire. I wore them so often that he purchased a man's pair for me in my size this winter rather than the women's arctic boot as they were described as less hardy based on a review. I couldn't have been more pleased. We both find these arctic boots extremely comfortable, easy to put on and take off, warm enough with heavier socks in winter and completely waterproof for all seasons. They are worth their cost and will last for many years. I fully understand why they are not eligible for sales and/or discounts. These boots are utilitarian and functional but also look fine. However, when it is icy, I do wear my micro spikes over my boots for added safety.

I was looking to replace a worn out pair of rubber boots from another manufacturer (whose customer service pales in comparison to L.L. Bean by the way and does not offer flexibility returns). These boots fit the bill to a T. easy to slip on and a little snug - necessarily so - getting off. Warm without causing my feet to sweat. Paired them with Stabilicers traction devices to great effect on an ice covered sidewalk and driveway. Was very surprised how effective the Stabilicers were. Highly recommend both.

I opted for the mid-cut Arctic Sports because I wanted the flexibility to tuck or not to tuck in my pants. The full length model covered my knees and probably would provide better coverage against deep snow or wading in water. The mid-cut model pull on & off easy enough. I started off using these mostly when using my snow blower but eventually would pull these on for other outdoor activities. I recently wore the Mucks on a winter overnight camping trip. Microspikes were necessary because the boots don't have the greatest traction but few boots do on ice or slippery trails. The Arctic Sports kept me warm and dry standing in snow and in a lean-to. I probably wouldn't wear these to rack up miles when winter backpacking. Size wise, I ordered a 9 which fit well. I also can wear LL Bean footwear in an 8.5 Wide.

I bought these boots for my husband to wear when working in our very large, sometimes muddy, yard. He absolutely loves themwon't wear any other boot! Thanks, LL Bean. We are both very happy with these muck boots.

As an L.L.Bean employee, I cannot suggest a better waterproof boot for the Maine winters. Waterproof and warm, these are my go to for snowshoeing, ice fishing and snowblowing.

Easy to put on, warm during the last 4 weeks of super cold weather in Maine.

I purposely ordered these one size bigger than I usually take to allow for wearing heavy socks. I haven't need them. My feet are toasty. The bigger size is fine since they hug your legs and feet. I use the toe of one boot to pry off the first boot at the heel - then use that foot to push off the second the same way. These replaced a pair of bargain boots I wore until my daughter wore them outside and said I need new boots because she slipped and almost fell. These really grip the snow. I would but them again in a heartbeat.

Well made and comfortable. We got sherpa inserts as well.

Best winter boots there are for all your outdoor needs from mucking to tramping in the muck. Everyone in the family has a pair and we'll be lifetime customers.

At first my husband wasn't sure about these Muck Boots, as they were easy to slip on (a bonus) but difficult to take off (which other reviewers have also said). Once he figured out the latter (use the heel of one boot to remove the first, then slip a shoe on and use that heel to remove the second boot), he fell in love with them. They are comfortable, don't hurt his back, and keep his feet dry and incredibly warm--even when it's five degrees outside.

High quality boot. Kids who live in rainy city outgrew this boot well before it fell apart.
