I bought these for my wife for our third wedding anniversary as leather is the traditional gift and she loves them. Extremely high quality construction and she says they are the best flats she has ever owned, definitely worth the money.

The dove color is the perfect light/medium grey that I was searching for. They're so comfortable, I love them.

I got them in the olive green color, and they're perfect! They are the first pair of high-quality leather ballet flats that haven't been a huge pain to break in. As a ballet dancer with bunions and sensitive achilles' tendons, these shoes in the wide option have been ideal for me. They are also very pretty - exactly what you would want from a pair of classic ballet flats.

Love fit, color, packaging

Great show to travel with-comfortable yet adorably cute. They pair well with jeans or to dress up for going out. I purchase in blue then added black to my shoe wardrobe. They are so well made and fit well. There are a good value and must have if you are a shoe lover.

The older I get, the more foot pain I experience. I have been on the hunt for shoes of all styles that are stylish and comfortable. I 'splurged' on the navy pair of these ballet flats to see if they are as comfortable as stated in reviews. I have to agree that they are worth every penny. I've had them for a few weeks and worn them 2-3 times per week to work and on the weekends. My workplace has a cement floor and these shoes handle the hard surface very well. The navy color is a true navy, and I consider these a neutral staple color. The functional tie is very useful as I have a narrow heel but I have to accommodate bunions in my toe box. Adjusting the tie helped create a perfect fit that doesn't apply painful pressure on my bunion but keeps the heel from slipping. The heel is cushioned more than any other flat I've had in the past (but I refuse to wear super thick soled 'old lady flats' for now. The real leather has kept my foot temperature regulated and there has been no excessive sweating or foot odor. Assuming the quality is retained after more wear, I will be buying these in EVERY COLOR!

These shoes are beautiful so much more than I expected! I'm so happy I made this purchase; these were exactly what I was looking for.

I walk a lot. I need to br comfortable, and I like to look good. I love my new suede demi in printed leopard. I take a 37.5 N which is my normal size and what I measure. No breaking in necessary. Just step in and gaux!

Third pair and will be buying more!

I spent a lot of time looking on the website and reading other people's reviews before I placed my order. I'm a new Margaux convert! My ballet pink Demi shoes are both beautiful to look at and super comfortable to wear. I think there will be more Margaux shoes in my closet soon!

These are darling and seem like a high quality shoe, but my normal size was too narrow. While I don't usually, I am going to try the wide option. They are worth a second try!

Sorry but the sizing is off. The 42.5 in women’s feels like a size 10.5. I had to return.

I really wanted these shoes to work. They are a wonderful supple leather with a working tie, so that you can adjust the fit. But you can only adjust it so much. I usually wear a 5.5 or 35.5, but MargauxNY advised me in this shoe to order down. So first I tried a 5W, but it was too wide, although the length was fine. The tie almost snugged them up enough but not quite--and at this price point, I want them to be right. So I ordered the 5M thinking it should be fine. I was stunned when the 5M was longer and every bit as wide (or so it seemed). I was walking out of them. They seem to have consistency issues. If you get a pair that fits, lucky you.

Boo-hoo! I bought my usual size. I loved the flats from the moment I opened the box! The leather is beautifully soft. The shoes are very well made. Even the presentation of them is impressive! MOST of the shoe was just the right size and width. The toe box was big enough for my toes to be comfortable. But... not only do I have narrow feet; I have even narrower heels. I couldn't get the shoes to stay on my feet when I walked in them. O, sadness! I've had to send them back. If they're ever available in the next smaller size, I may give them another try. Can't hurt.

The toe area was tight. The heel was loose.

I sized down, but not enough. Should have been a full size down. Also this pink color is not quite what is pictured.

I liked the quality of the soft leather and the low vamp style (which I think upgrades the look of an otherwise plain ballet flat). However, as others noted, the heel was too loose despite the narrow width. It had no arch support. For an expensive everyday shoe, I want it to fit better and be more supportive.

Lovely shoe. Ordered the narrow, and it was quite narrow, but felt fine at first. However, my heel slipped worse than I have ever experienced in any shoe - and I do not consider that i have inordinately narrow heels. Must be either related to the leather lining, or some design. There is no hope, and the shoes are going back today.
