As a casual wearer of these kind of shoes I myself have had problems with the seam at the heel. My recent pair ok for now.

The 92cab has soft padded side walls and a thick tongue the regular skate cab has stiff side walls and and thin tongue if you just made ad the 92cab padding and tounge to the stiffness of the skate cabs it would be

They're really stiff and tight at first, but they stretch out and mold to your feet. I'm not used to all the padding though, I'm used to the original Sk8 Hi shoes. If they could cut back on the cushioning just a little bit they'd be perfect, a real improvement on the shoes from the early 90's.

I bought Half Cabs size 11 but they were too small for me. I love those shoes and haven't owned any for quite some time. Just beware that they run small.

Got my son a pair. A bit too big but they don't have a smaller size in mens. Will buy again. The only thing I didn't like is they didn't try to get in the gate they didn't knock on the managers door in front and they didn't call me when I left my number to let us know they were here luckily they made it and the second time before Christmas

These are a comfortable fit for everyday wear. Only downside of my experience is that after a month of owning these, the fabric began to rip from the sole. Without any strenuous physical activity, these should last much longer than they did. Had these not immediately come apart, I would recommend grabbing a pair.

Good throw back shoe that is sporty and relatively comfortable

The tongues on these shoes are very thick and tall. Not like the several other color ways I have had over the last couple years. The laces barely fit due to the tongue puffiness. They are uncomfortable due to how high the tongue sticks up above the shoe. 2 days of wearing/skating in them so far has not been and good as the other Half Cab's I have had. Really disappointed in this pair.

They're great. I wish they had black laces with them. Most all of my other Vans came with 2 lace colors.

I couldn't exchange for the next available size. The pop cush insole is massive! If the next size happens to be longer but with the same narrow dimensions... Id consider a different model entirely. I have a handful of different vans and I felt a problem immediately after getting the new pair on.

I purchased these a few weeks ago, I wear them only a few hours a day after work and on the weekends. The right shoe right below collar on the heel started splitting, just a random hole.

They look great, but run extremely narrow. I don't have wide feet by any means I don't think even a size larger would do it. Maybe 2, but at that point they are too long.

Th cabs have become too narrow. Will Vans consider making them in wides? I'm flat footed and also need a wider toe box. I'd love to see this implemented.

Very narrow and run about a half size small

I bought two pairs of these, one in 11.5 and one in 12. I normally wear 11's. Fifth time putting on the 11.5 ones the and heels split. Shame. Usually you go up half a size when you order skate pro shoes. These ones you have to go up a full size in regular wear because of how bulky the uppers are and where the stitching is. All I can say is I'm glad I bought them in another size and color way.

About 10 years ago I love the Half Cab, but now, it's too narrow and no 2-tone or tri-tone colors. Just black and white. So, I sent it back to the retail store

A little snug they need to be stretched out to be comfortable . Great padding ,love the style but have to be broke in to wear !

I hate that they changed the fit of vans with adding the push cushion now I have to buy my vans in size 9.5 when my regular size is 9 , it would be awesome if we add the option to customize Half cab vans

These ripped after several uses at the same place others complainthe back heel. Tried to glue them but came apart again! Why does this happen?!? Grippy soles though. Can you fix the back seam for me?? Warranty?

Too narrow in the toe area comparing to the PRO version. Try them on before purchase if possible. Disappointed.

Vans thought it would be a good idea to change the design of these amazing skating shoes and now they are cheap basic vans shoes. If you are looking for skating shoes I would highly recommend looking for another. They got rid of the cushioning and got rid of the good feel of half cabs THEY ARE NOW JUST NORMAL VANS SHOES

These used to be comfy and skateable right out of the box. The insoles are now absolutely not what they used to be, and the collar is now really stiff. Why does Vans keep changing up what was great? Even the newer skate slip ons just are not the same, been buying them for years.
