i love my halfcalf i skate on to mean i wear them so quickly my daily so comfortable

I love these shoes part of my wardrobe on a daily basis yet I need a color that stands out and purple looks good yet there's no more purple left.

That look Great havent bought them but just putting my opinion as a customer to make these with. Gum bottom to match

I do not like how the material pulls up from the cloth of my socks but they are decently comfortable and I enjoy the look of them.

no socks used .. i got the sk8 hi 9.5 and they are perfect if not lil roomy

Beautiful pair of shoes. The ''chocolate'' color is honestly closer to a wine/ burgundy rather than a brown. I personally liked it a lot still. I'm still breaking into them but i find the middle part of the shoe to be narrower than i'm used to for vans

Wanted to.like these. Ordered the same size intypically run in Vans and they are waaaay too narrow across the briddge of the foot. They were putting my foot to sleep. With a lot of wear the insoles are compressing and its atretching enough to whre they arent pinching my pinky toe off anymore so.i may still get to wear them but id recommend half sizing up. As far as the shoe itself, its a half cab. Im.not i love with.all.the modern vans touches like the red rubber cap.where the vulc meets (whata wrong with it being the same.color as the outsole? )and i cut that ridiculous checkered tab off the heel immediately. The silhouette is.mostly the same and im.glad they are back to.using the fabric half cab label over the horrible embroidery they did in the past. Id also like to see some classic colorways from the 90a again, ( olive, brick, aqua,etc). They are still the cadillac of vans shoes with good.padding and ankle stability due to th midtop. If you can live with.the littl weird modern vans styling details its 90 percent the half cab you know and love. Just try them on first

I skate mini ramp and flat ground. Everyone knows half cabs the best skate shoe. 4 stars cause they only provided one pair of not durable laces.

Toe box is a little more narrow than prefered. Better arch support compared to classics

The half cabs are comfortable and some break jn well, but I find that they can be a bit inconsistent in their construction. Mainly in the space above your toes and about 4 inches from the front. They just seem to be very narrow , not so much width wise, but in height. It seems to vary from color to color. Some are soft and very comfortable, and others can be tight and uncomfortable.

No real problems with the purchase. But I wish they would have come with matching dark olive shoe laces since you can get white and black laces anywhere (a suggestion, not really a gripe). And there was only one black shoe lace in the box - quality control issue. For that, I think it's fair that I deduct 1 star since it wasn't "perfect".

please make a size 15 I would genuinely buy almost every color way of this shoe but they only go up to a a 13. but from my experience all my friends love the shoe and I would buy a pair for sure.

I had a problem with the fit of the right shoe. I wore them for a few hours just to dinner and my right pinky toe was in pain and very red. This was my first pair of this model of shoe and thought it was the type of shoe that was the problem. I ended up returning them to the Vans Store in my area and bought the standard ones and have no problems.

I really like these half cabs. The only issue withthis pair is 1 the sole side cap is coming loose.

These are pretty good, the only reason I'm even writing a review is THE LACES ARE WAYYYYYYYY TOO SHORT they're not even close to long enough

Great comfort and fits perfectly to my feet

To me, it feels like it is on the tight side, 11.5 feels closer to 11.25

i wear a 9.5 in men's, i wear them with the laces undone and tucked and they are comfortable and have great board feel i have to wear the laces undone because they are tight on the arch of the foot but i still love the half cab it's my go to, I also plan on buying a second pair and converting them to driving shoes with a harder sole, the wide print of the shoe make heel toe downshifting really easy

I have owned quite a few half cab and love skating in them. I just don't understand why Vans doesn't make more mid height skate shoes! And no stripe?!

Not for me. I could get my foot in the shoe. Gave them to my grandson for next school year.

I believe this is the fourth or fifth pair of vans in a couple months. obviously I like them. Unfortunately the 10.5 that has previously worked perfectly, is too narrow on the halfcab. 11 will be too long. Otherwise very cool shoe
