I've been skating in nothing but Vans Half Cabs for 15 years. The problem now is they are not consistent with fit and width. Maybe 50% of them fit right so I try them on and return the ones that aren't quality. The huge improvement Vans could make is a wide model in the custom shop at least. My old skateboarder feet have bunions and problems from wearing such a tight toe box. (I've been skating I'm Vans for 35 years now) When I was younger I never thought I'd still be able to skate at 49. Or walk! lol Please Vans help us old rippers with some WIDE Half-Cabs!!

Around eyeholes and badging, the material there is chocolate. Rest of the shoe did not take the color properly, why these are cheap on line it seems.

Ruined a great product. Been wearing Half Cabs for over 20 years. Now they R uncomfortable, cheaper made but more expensive = Shrinkflation!! Good job

So I've worn a size 11.5 for 18 years and have never once had an issue with vans not fitting. Half cabs have always been my favorite style from vans as well. But this shoe? Cut so small I can't even fit my foot into a size 13. Super narrow and the tongue is so thick you can't even use laces. Hoping it's just a production error with this particular shoe and not all half cabs from here on.

I am very disappointed in the new era of half cabs. This pair the sole started to fall off the toe of one shoe almost immediately, I probably wore them 15-20 times.

I really wanted them, but they are too narrow for my feet not just sideways top and bottom also too narrow

I was super excited to get these shoes and start skating again after years out of the skate world. Right after I got them I sustained a back injury and I wasn't able to start up again, so these shoes sat in a box for 6 months and 2 weeks. When I put them on for the first time the heel collar split open, obviously a manufacturer defect. VANS is refusing to warranty me on a brand new pair of shoes that I've worn 3-4 times because I'm 2 weeks outside of their warranty window. I honestly expected better from this company.

Less than 5 months and the heel blows out on the outer corner where the sole meets the binder. Only wore them casually. Never happened with other Vans

Shoes came with two different lengths

Way too small way too narrow way too tight

These shoes lasted 22 days before the heel started to tear. Poor quality for a brand that used to last years. RIP Vans. You had a good run.

It seems most of the new Vans shies are really snug, narrow, and unfortunately uncomfortable.

This is the third pair of Half Cabs we've purchased this year and 7th pair of Vans but this pair is cosmetically and structurally detective. I have reached out multiple times for help and so far no one at Vans has followed thru on a replacement.

Let me start by saying these are not my everyday shoes. I've had them since April and the foxing tape is already coming off the soles.

Left and Right shoes are not symmetrical/even. The upper is sewn crooked on the left one. The tags on the back are also crooked. Just sloppy quality these days.

Bought these for my husband in June. Leas than 4 months later the seam at the ankle of each shoe has torn exposing the stuffing. He does not wear these all of the time or for doing anything strenuous. Cannot recommend.

I was hesitant to spend this much on shoes but they looked amazing on my son and I have always felt Vans quality was top notch. It has now been less than a month since purchase and they are falling apart - like literal holes! My son has probably worn these to school a total of 10 times. I'm completely disappointed and would not buy this style again.

Lest then two weeks and the shoes are separated on the sides. My son wore vans all year last year. I won't be buying another pair he only wore them to school for 11 days.

I purchased these shoes and three months later they fell apart. I filed a warranty claim and was denied because they said the shoes were used for skating and we tried to repair the damage. I am highly disappointed.

Been buying half cabs for years but Half cabs sizing aren't the same I always get 10.5 and the last two pairs and now these are almost unwearable extremely narrow even taking out the laces can't wear the shoe for more than a half hour. It's a shame cause I use to swear by these shoes.

I bought a pair of these half cabs 3 weeks ago thinking they would be durable and comfortable and they started tearing on the inside causing sores on my feet. Vans quality has gone way down recently.

Was incredibly disappointed with these. I've been buying half cabs for years and I've never had a pair become completely unwearable in a manner of a few months. With how expensive half cabs have gotten, to see the quality decline so dramatically is truly disappointing.

Absolutely love Vans but the wear-away Half Cabs I bought fell apart after one month of non-skate wear. The rubber began to separate from the leather. Cool shoes, beyond horrible quality.
