Great for bike riding and hiking. Washes well. I have 3 white tops and decided to try the pink. Very pleased with the color.

We bought our boy/girl twins these hats over two years ago. They still fit! We have traveled around the world with them and always have people asking where we bought them from. They have given us peace of mind by protecting our children's faces and necks from the sun. We have had no issues with them being uncomfortable for our kids and they don't try to take them off which is a bonus. We will definitely buy them again!

That's the only sun hat my daughter will wear. She had it for 4 years and still loves it.

Excellent sunblock hat for kids, except my boy doesn't like to wear a hat. Cool and nice look, stylish. Wonderful coverage, even around the neck area. Seems very comfortable. Excellent choice if baby likes hats.

We use this hat for both of our boys. The child size even fits our 1 year old since it is adjustable! The brim size is large enough to keep out the sun, while still letting them see. I always get compliments and other parents asking where I got the hat. Since we live in Canada, the shipping is more expensive than the hat, but it is worth every penny!!

Great hats. My kids love them and wear them enthusiastically every day. I like the wide brim and neck veil for improved sun protection. They wear well, and stay in good condition (my kids are very active and kind of tough on hats). Everyone who sees them comments favorably. We will definitely keep buying these.

This is my 3rd play hat from Sunday Afternoons. I like that it is lightweight, portable, and Provides sun protection. Wish it could has more color to choose from.

I bought this hat (blue) in the child (2-5) size when my son was 18 months old. As his head circumference is in the 90 percentile, cinched in the back it stayed on just fine then, and now, at 3-3/4 years old it is still going strong. We have a strict no hat/no outside play rule whenever it's sunny (I only had to leave the park early twice at the beginning of the summer and after that he always kept it on) so this hat has been worn pretty much every warm day for 2+ years, it's gone to the beach, in rivers, been covered in mud, been on countless hikes, scrunched in bags, tossed about the car, and it is just now starting to show to faintest signs of color fade from use. It still functions perfectly. The brim still has good shape to it and not a single stitch has unraveled. I never put sunscreen on my son's face (he hates it) and he has never been burnt. I love the full brim coverage, both front and back, and even though he tends to be a hot little guy, he never complains about his hat making him hot so I think the vents work well, and if it's really hot out, he just wets his hat. He is not a fan of chin straps, so can't attest to the functionality of this feature, but I loop it through the tag in the back of his hat which keeps it out of his way. I cannot recommend this hat highly enough! I think I will need to get him the next size up next year when he will be 4-1/2 at the beginning of the summer, but that's only because he has a big head.

I bought this hat for my daughter (a very fair-skinned redhead) last summer and we both LOVE it! She wore it all last summer and is happily wearing it again this year. I love how lightweight the hat is as her head sweats terribly in heat/humidity. I love the bright purple color (I have a matching hat as well!) and the mesh vents. The chin strap (we have the child size) works great for her, too. I guess the best thing I can say about this hat is that my daughter ASKS to wear it...I'd say that says it all! This hat is awesome. It washes well and really keeps the sun off the kids. I have 2 for my granddaughter. My yard is full sun. It is the greatest. The shirts are great too.

I bought a lavender play hat for my granddaughter and a tan play hat for my grandson. They just love them and feel so grown-up that their hats are the same as their grown-ups. It's so fun that the whole family has matching hats.

THIS HAT IS SIMPLY THE BEST! If you looking for a great fit, SPF protection, fashion and low maintanance, this hat has it all. It also has great ventilation on the sides so your head stays cool. The back side of the hat is longer so it offers also protection for your child's neck. It comes in variety of colors and my little girl has no problem putting it on and off herself since the clip mechanism is very easy. If you want the best, you do not need to look any further, this is the hat for your child.

My granddaughters wear these hats whenever they are out in the sun. We often go to Puerto Vallarta and the girls wear these hats all day long. This is my second set of hats for them.

This hat is perfect! My daughter had the infant hat and is now in the child size. She is 18 months and we got the child size rather than baby so it would fit for longer. It fits great and blocks out so much sun! She gets compliments on it every time she wears it.

I bought this hat because I was undergoing Chemo Therapy and needed to be careful of the sun due to the drugs in my system. I hate hats. I love this one! It is very comfortable and attractive. I had to get a kid's hat size, as I have a small head. I am so glad I found your company. I have since bought 1 more for myslef and 2 for nieces.

My boy has worn this style play hat for 6 years straight. He wore it daily as a toddler, and continues to wear it daily in the youth size. He has always been happy to wear this hat. This is hands-down the BEST sunhat for kids. It is great for daily use, hiking in high altitudes with intense sun and wind, beach days, and anything else. He wears it extreme wind and it stays on. The back flap is much better than a rigid brim, which catches wind and also gets in the way of backpacks.

The hat is adjustable, pretty and in style. My grand-kids love them and no one else has them so they look cool and expensive too.

I bought three of these hats for my kids three years ago. The hats have been worn over and over, even while playing in a pool, and the hats still look great and work great. They stay on so well with the adjustable strap. If you adjust it so it's just under the chin, the hat will stay on, even in windy weather. My only problem was with the Child size hat. The velcro doesn't work so well after 3 years of use. There have been no problems with the Youth size. Buy this hat for your child! It's the only one you'll need as it will last for years. I have gotten my money's worth! In fact, I'm back to order another one tonight for my daughter who has outgrown the Child size. I'll be passing the Child size hat down to my 4th child.

We bought these for our twins when they were two and they are still using them now that they are four. We use them at the park, the beach, hiking...everywhere. They adjust to fit their heads perfectly and they actually keep them on. Superb neck coverage. People constantly ask me where got them. We got them the child (age 2-5) and it seems to be getting a bit small so I do not know if they will fit next summer when they are 5. But I will absolutely buy these again in the next size. It is a great investment to keep their skin beautiful.

Excellent protection for my 9 mo. Old great-grandson who is a very fair blue-eyed baby needing maximum sun protection. He feels very comfortable and the wide brim protects his little shoulders as well as his entire face. This play hat is the only one I have found to meet such high standards in its production.

My 7 year old chose this hat and she loves it. We are planning to buy another one this summer just so we have more colors. It lasted the whole summer through pools, beaches and water parks! It still looks like new. It's a very good value and well worth the money.

I started using this hat on my busy toddler as soon as I received the package, I couldn't wait! The hat does not disappoint - it is light, fits well, stays on and looks great. Both my 4.5 and 2.5 year olds have one and I can say this is the best sun hat I have ever purchased for them. My older one tells me he loves it because it is light and dries quickly after it gets sprayed on while running through the sprinkler. I wish I had found these hats for my boys earlier and not wasted money on other hats!
