Bought my 2 year old one of these hats after seeing kids playing in them at park. I love it! We live in Texas and she wears it at the park and splash pads without argument. It provides great coverage but doesn't impede her vision or ability to play. It's lightweight and must be comfortable as my daughter rarely seems to notice she is wearing it. This hat is head and shoulders above any other toddler sun hat I have tried.

We were given this hat right before moving overseas to Africa. My daughter has been wearing it for the last year and a half. It has been one of the best hats ever! The brim that continues around the sides and back really helps to prevent sunburn on her shoulders and back. The material is so light so she doesn't even seem to notice that she is wearing it and the chin strap is great for when the wind picks up...no more chasing hats for me! It washes out easily and dries fast. No complaints here!

This is by far the best sun hat ever designed for a child. My 3 year old loves hers. I was worried at first that she would find it too big, but that is not the case. She keeps it on all the time. She never keeps other hats on for long because she complains of her head getting too hot. This hat is nice and lightweight and she doesn't get over-heated in it. I love this hat and recommend it to everyone that asks about it when we are at the playground or beach.

This is the 3rd one of these hats we have purchased for our grand daughter She is 4 yrs old and willingly wears the hat because it is very light and comfortable Should always have a hat in car for children in the extreme Texas sun and heat

We use this hat for my 2 girls ages 2 and 4 all the time - in the summer when the sun in out in its glory and even in the winter when the sun is out because harmful ultraviolet rays are in both seasons. I have had so many people ask me what brand these hats are. Even though my older one is just 4 I have already bought the youth size that starts at 5 years! Need I say more?

I bought this hat for my daughter. It is very helpful in protecting her from the sun in the summer. It is light, will get another one for her little sister.

We have been using these hats for years. So glad they keep coming in bigger sizes. Best coverage of any hat I have seen. The strap keeps the hat on and the release keeps them safe. I love all of the color choices.

All four of my kids ages 10-4 love their hats in the pool, hiking, at camp, school recess and the beach because it keeps them feeling cool from the hot California sun and from squinting. Parents marvel and ask how I get all of them to keep their hats on. I refer them to your site! I've done school fundraisers so other kids can be protected as well.

The material is soft and comfortable, the colors are attractive, you'd never know that the shirts are sun protective. I would like the neck to be more like T-shirt for more protection. Bought 3 will buy more! Could add more colors.

I love these sun hats and am constantly asked about them when we're playing outside and at the beach. They are very lightweight so the kids stay cool wearing them and they are very quick dry. I bought the child size for my 6 month old and just adjusted it to as small as it would go, and it was only slightly big. He will be able to wear it for many years to come (if I don't lose it)! My daughter is still wearing her child size hat at 5 years old. Definitely recommend these hats, ill never be without them.

At last I found a hat that fits me. I ordered the youth and it fits great.

I have bought these before for my little granddaughters and they love them. They are so bright and in many different colors. They are such great protection from the sun, covering the back of the neck and extending out far enough in the front to block the sun from getting in the face. I have not seen any other product that could compare. The price is completely worth it when you consider how well they hold up to normal wear and tear, which is actually non-existent because of the type of fabric and construction. I would recommend this product to anyone!

My children have worn this hat since they were babies. My oldest is 10 and through the years has gotten different colors. We wear these everywhere when outdoors (beach, playing, recess at school, amusement parks etc!). We have received so many compliments and questions about these hats whenever our kids wear them. They are great, easy to transport, clean and stay on a child's head.

The hat came within a few days of the order, and it's packaged neatly and clean. I've read other reviews about the sizes running big. I got a Youth size for my 5 year old, and it fits me as well. I think the size matches its' description (in inches), it is only bigger than what other brands are selling for that age group. So if you want to get a hat that fits just right, you should go by the measurements, and not the age group. I like the fact that there are so many colors to choose from and the size is adjustable, so my daughter can wear it for at least a few years. It is a good quality hat with great coverage. The most important thing is that she loves the hat too so she'll wear it to truly get the sun protection.

Compare to other brands, the hat is a bit pricey. However, what you pay is what you get. The quality is awesome! I had the hat for my first child since he was 2. He was able to wear it for 3 years. Recently I purchased a baby hat for my little one and a youth hat for my older child. I love the fact that it covers both head and neck, and it is very light. Also the best part is the hat is durable, and because the quality is good, my older child can pass on his hat to his little brother later on...

My son wears this everywhere in FL. It's cool to have on your head with all the vents. The strap keeps it from blowing off in wind or on boat, and it is awesomely comfortable. The main feature I like is that the hat shields both the front and back of neck.

I have purchased three of these now as my children grow and all of them have used them. The break-away chin strap is important to me as we have to use a strap to keep the hat on when we're rafting. My kids all wear them in the water and only now the infant hat (on its third child) has started to lose its elasticity. I strongly recommend these hats to cover your kids face AND necks.

I got this for my 2 year old granddaughter in pink, she loves it...we have a lake house and she is with us on weekends. She is a redhead and FAIR..I purchased several items for her, but this hat will be the weekender for her! Easy to put on, and I love the safety release.

Both of my kiddos have, wear, & love their hats! They wear them in the pool, playground or anytime we're out & it's sunny. Fantastic light material, doesn't overheat them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product.

Bought this hat 3 years ago when my son was 1 year old. He loves this hat and he started wearing it since then. Now, he is almost 4 and I am getting another one (youth size) for him. Since he started to wear hats on sunny days when he only 1. He is still asking for it now when he is out in the sun. The hat is very good with great protection, I don't need to worry about him at all when he is out for whole days in the sun. Worth the buy, it is a great investment. I suggest that you train your child to start wearing hats early!

We live in a small apartment with three boys. Luckily we are in California. The weather usually permits playing outside all day. These hats are light, comfortable, and well ventilated. These qualities along with the design keep the hats on all day while they have fun outdoors. At three my little ones still haven't gotten a sunburn. We've gone through two sizes so far and are hoping the style will still be cool enough for them when they grow into the next size up. Buying one for my ten year old wouldn't keep his skin safe. He definitely has his own style.

My 2 year old son loves his child size Kids Play Hat. He even wears it inside the house. I love that the smart strap is easy to use, the hat is very lightweight.
