I'm looking for a comfortable hat with protection against the sun. This hat would have been nearly ideal if the neck protector (the mullet) was wider and longer. It did not even reach to the top of the T shirt I was wearing so it leaves two vertebrae and the back of my neck exposed to the sun. And that's if I don't move. I thought it would be this gorgeous bright blue as pictured on my computer. It is actually quite bluish green. My computer has never been this far off as color goes. My photos show it against the dark green LLBean mailing bag. It is a nice, lightweight hat with some good adjustment features, reflective details and what I think are some airflow features. Folds nicely.

Can't be used wearing noise canceling headphones while mowing otherwise seems to be a good hat. My headsize (23 1/4) fell between M and L so I went with the large and have to pull the adjustment strap to the end to get it to fit which bunches the hat up in the back.

A great hat. Fits my big head, which women's sizes do not. My second one, but the brim does not fold like the original because the edge binding is stitched straight across. I'm tempted to do surgery, because I liked the folding feature. Otherwise it still does the job.

Since I love the ultra adventure hat I'm looking forward to rain season so I can use this version all winter.

Firs wella bit lightweight but that's good for warm weather

I purchased the S/M size, which is on the smaller side. Fortunately, my head is small! The coverage isn't quite as good as my other hat, which has a broader brim and larger neck coverage; however, it's a good alternative.

Took a few weeks to arrive but otherwise the product is exactly as expected. Love the color which also matches my backpack, and overall the hat is quite light and easy to carry.

I am very sensitive to the sun! I love that this has a fairly sturdy brim, neck protection, can pack up easily, and is breathable. I got the S/M and I wish it was a little smaller. This is also so nerdy! My husband begs me not to take it...and I agree I don't love the look, but this really does everything I need! I might try the all grey version, looks better than the green I have.

I like this hat a lot, but I have a truly enormous head and even the largest size is snug. But this is the best option I've found so far.

I have short hair. It allows for long hair I think. Came down too far and interfered with my vision. Is set to return but I got covid so putting the package in the mail has been delayed. Liked the gloves.

Recently purchased. Love almost everything about this cute, well-made hat, but will be returning. Reason: the cape is too short unless you are wearing a high collar shirt (which I usually do not). This can been observed when the female model shows off the hat in the on-line video; there is a gap between the end of the cape and the top of her shirt. Her hair may protect her lower neck/upper back from the sun, but the cape will not. And so it is with me: the cape leaves a gap totally exposed to the sun.

This hat is fine but it misses a few features that an older model had - a pony tail hole and a hidden zip pocket on the flap at the back. There are too many models that look too much alike to be sure that I ordered the right hat to get exactly what I wanted. Giving them cute names doesn't help and the descriptions are too similar to decide which one would be the exact replacement hat. I haven't worn it yet, I suppose it will do the job but am disappointed. Well made and certainly not inexpensive.

Lightweight, cool, comfortable. I receive many compliments for my hat

I had a regular medium size adventure hat before, which was the perfect size, but it was taken after I accidentally left it at a facility one day. I thought if I was ordering another one, I may as well go for the upgrade, but this one seems to be half the size of the original. The brim is way smaller. The original hat covered my whole face, but this one barely shades my eyes. With the hot sun here, my nose and lower face get completely burned, even with sunscreen. I really don't like this hat. All of the other "improvements" be darned.

Buyer Beware. I bought a hat to match my son, both were named "Sand" though the adult one is much darker. It seemed lighter in the pictures, and I figured it may have been different material that made it a bit darker in the picture. However, it's even darker than the pictures! It fits like a dream, and was looking forward to wearing it, but sadly I'll return to get the lighter color once it become available. I'm a 5'10 female with an average size head and the small/med fit great with room for a ponytail as another reviewer mentioned.

I wanted something to cover my pale skin and reduce the risk of brief walks and jogs without sunscreen. It does cover my face and the back of my neck pretty well; not quite as much the side of my head/neck, but that's fine. The material is a little flimsy/artificial-feeling, but not so flimsy that it will fall apart soon.

The s/m is too large. I wish the company would make a women's size small for all their products. I'm an average size person, but on the smallest setting this hat falls down below the tops of my ears. Great otherwise.

I love the design of this hat. Being foldable is a unique and useful feature--I can stash it in my backpack, purse, or shorts pocket, where it is ready to go anytime. However, I ordered 2 hats (Wild Orchid and Pumice) in small/medium and received medium (does small/medium even exist?). Even though the width is adjustable, the Wild Orchid is slightly too big for my head, and the Pumice is too loose.

I love the hat, but it's too large! I ordered a 'S/M' size, but the hat delivered is marked 'M' and does not fit. This hat does not cinch down to fit a smaller head, (within the size noted on chart) unfortunately. I love the hat, otherwise. I've had my eye on it for months, so I'm very disappointed. The three of five stars is due to fit problem only. Please make this hat in a 'small' hat that actually fits. Thank you!

The seam on the visor where it folds is to heavy and dug into my forehead. I went back to my original adventurers hat

The folding brim led to discomfort where the brim meets the forehead. I ended up returning for the original Adventure Hat. I believe the neck drape is also not as large in the Ultra model, and the slots to hold sunglasses are difficult to use so not really worth it.

Nice hat , but it took 22 days to get to California from the day of ordering. Missed my daughter's birthday.

After getting the hat and trying it on, the large size fit me well. Many desirable features are included in this hat, folds up nicely, sunglass holder, decent coverage, etc, but the hat seems cheaply made. The seams look like they won't hold. Made in Vietnam. I know why manf's do this, to save money. I would rather buy USA than to use foreign labor.

We ordered 2 hats, an Ultra Adventure Hat and an Adventure Hat, both L/XL. The Ultra Adventure hat was considerably smaller than the other hat and the neck cape is very short, exposing the lower neck and upper back if the head is pitched forward, looking downward. We'll keep the hat and have someone smaller wear it because we have to pay to send it back.
