Quality, stylish protection from the sun. These are so beautiful and so functional. Even got caught in a downpour and the hat dried perfectly as if nothing ever happened. I too get compliments from everyone when I wear these which is always when I walk which is a couple of hours a day four times a week.

My husband and I love being outdoors, especially hiking paths and bird watching. We live in the Southwest, so protection from the sun is paramount, as skin cancer is a real concern. I have six or seven Sunday Afternoon hats, which I love, since they protect all of my head and face. I especially love the Sundancer hat because of the beautiful way the back flap is finished. It looks feminine and dressy. I actually have three of them, in different colors. I do wish there were a subtly-colored hatband to dress up the look from the front and side. A great hat for looks and sun protection!

This is a beautiful hat, great color in the periwinkle, fits wonderfully and I can pack it in my suitcase for study abroad.

I own two, the white and the periwinkle. I do not work in the garden without it. It packs perfectly flat and is easy to hand wash. I am a Leukemia survivor and have had a bone marrow transplant and can not have any UV on my skin as it will cause a reoccurrence of the graft vs. host disease caused by the transplant. I have 4 other Sunday Afternoon hats in other styles.

I have lots of hats, and need them. This one is so pretty! I just ordered it, and I am so thankful I can have the protection while looking good. Thank you!

This is the most well designed hat I have ever seen. I'm on my second black one, I needed a gardening hat. I bought it in purple and white as well. It is so perfect and looks great! I bought my husband the men's field hat - he loves it.

This hat provides perfect coverage from the sun, yet it's light and airy. I wore it most recently last week to a pre-season baseball game in Central Florida. It was a hot, sunny day and it felt like an oven inside the stadium. Of course, our seats were in full sun for the entire game. This hat covered my entire face, ears and neck throughout the game. Although I don't usually use it, the cord came in handy when the wind whipped up, keeping my hat from flying away. I know I'll use it throughout the Spring and Summer for gardening, walking and hanging out at the beach.

I love this hat!! I'm really fair and 44 yrs old and want to keep out of the sun. This hat works great and keeps me cool. Love that it keeps the sun off my jawline and neck. I highly recommend the hat.

SunDayAfternoons makes good hats. I hike a lot with Meetup and saw that my hiking friends always had SunDay Hats. This hat has received a lot of compliments that it has good coverage and also stylish. I was asked very often where to buy it. I have two black ones. My sister in law in Taiwan liked it so much, she asked me to buy one for her as well.

I ordered this hat in cream/sand...I must say that the color is much darker than it appears on this webiste..it is more taupe than cream in my opinion, but regardless of color the hat is absolutely beautiful....I love it .....It is very comfortable, great fit, lightweight...I love it and will probably go back and order the white one....A+ design....and super fast delivery.Great service. Singapore is a country where sun hats would be extremely useful. However, the level of humidity makes wearing hats uncomfortable, so the trend never really took off in our country. I gave my husband's Adventure Hat a try and found the material to be extremely lightweight, durable and breathable. So I proceeded to buy the Sundancer sun hat and Sicily Visor for my own. I love both styles and I am flaunting them everyday!

Unfortunately for the Sundancer Hat, I started with an Ultra Adventure Hat, so am comparing to that. Pros: - Ponytail hole (cannot wear my hair off my neck with the Ultra Adventure Hat, which makes my neck hot) - Appreciate the adjustable sizing - Neck tie is crucial in windy situations - Protects my face and neck from the sun Cons: - Would be great if the ponytail hole was more of an elongated slit, so I could choose the height of my ponytail (it's still a bit low) - Sundancer Hat's brim extends further back around the head than the Ultra Adventure Hat, which means that it rests a bit uncomfortably on the tops of my ears - Sundancer Hat does not have a reverse clamshell folding brim, like the Ultra Adventure Hat - Sundancer Hat's fashion-forward neck cape starts further back and has more cloth, so it seems like less sun coverage, but more weight/heat Observations: - Sundancer Hat does not have the sunglasses lock integrated sleeves (not a con to me, as I rarely use them on the Ultra Adventure Hat because of the shape of my skull).

I LOVE the color (amethyst), wish there were some vents (in the same color), wish it seemed less waterproof, am glad there's not decorative braiding on the front like other models, and like the ponytail loop.

Several strangers have actually stopped me to ask where I got my hat. It's effective and graceful looking. Several others have teased me about it and laughed (kindly) at me. I don't go out without it in sun or rain. I'd like the ties to be seated a bit forward to counter wind better, and I'd prefer protection for the back of my head to the ponytail hole, but otherwise I can't find a single fault.

Love the hat, just need to figure out how to tighten the head band.

I have a smaller head (I guess) and the hat has to be cinched up for me a bit more. Great coverage from sun and light on my head.

This is the best sun hat I've ever had-- very light weight, great coverage and cooling. The adjustable band for tighter fit is a tremendous benefit. I wish there were pastel colors available-- dark colors and white not very practical- so haven't purchased any more. I hope the light blue color will be available again-

I love the look of this hat both on and off. Unfortunately the "one size fits all" just doesn't fit right for me. Its a little too deep to start with and if I have it cinched in as tight as possible so it will stay on, its down on top of my ears the chin strap is directly over my ears and I can't use it because it uncomfortable. I have a different style in kaki that I love, so I just ordered it in white. Construction of these hats is very high quality and the only reason for just 4 stars is for the 'one size fits all' size for this particular hat.

I ordered the Sundancer Hat because I liked it's wide brim and the tail which makes it very dressy and lady like. The hat is very lightweight and comfortable to wear. However, the tail is not as wavy as the picture and it has folded lines which makes it flat. I didn't expect to iron it.
