I love this hat for the sun protection. They only issue I discovered is that the chin strap sets back too far on the brim. It continually flies backwards in the wind even when I have the chin strap tightened down. I have other sunday hats that do not have this issue. Thank you for listening!

This hat does not stay on my head while running or on a windy day, I am going to return it

I bought this hat because I bought an Adventure Hat about 15 years ago and have worn it for everything from sailing to golf to gardening, receiving compliments from everyone. It is lightweight, colorful (you don't make the patterned ones any more) and all-around perfect. So, I thought this hat would be equally wonderful, albeit a bit more stylish and feminine. However, my experience has been extremely disappointing, and I gave the hat away. The brim is so stiff and large, any little breeze lifts it off my head like a frisbee, and only using the chin cord keeps it on. I tried to play golf in it and wound up ripping it off my head because it kept lifting up. Impossible to pack it because the brim is so stiff. For me, you have missed the boat on this item. I plan to buy another Aventure hat instead! Please bring back the pretty patterns too - mine is purple and pink.
