Best hat on the planet. Keeps skin free of sun exposure. Light and airy. I love it. I do think it would be cool if there was a hole or a flap on the top that you could put your pony tail through. I cut a hole out on the top so I could do that. It's thorough.

This hat looks dumb as heck but man is it wonderful for being out in the sun! I tried on many sunshielding hats and this one was the most comfortable and had the best protection for my neck and sides of my face.

I've purchased the Sun Guide in 3 different colors for hubby in the L/XL size (also one for my dad) and one color for myself in the S/M size. I LOVE the foldable brim. With the cap pulled low and the cape buttoned up, it gives amazing sun protection. The cape is also long enough to completely cover your neck. I think it also looks amazing worn without the cape too. Just waiting for another S/M to go on sale so I can get a second color! Also love the adjustable sizing strap. Since it clips on and off, it's very handy for clipping to my purse strap when not in use.

I love the wider brim on this hat! I rarely use the face covering but it's a nice option to have. I wish they offer black color.

I was gifted with the sun guide cap for my expedition to Mount Kilimanjaro and I was so impressed by the comfort level of the cap. I wore it with the neck cape and without and both times it is so soft and comfortable to wear and so easy to unjust the sizing. Even on windy days with the neck cape, the cap is secure. Very impressed!!

Bought this for my husband. He was always getting too much sun when he worked outside so he started putting a bandana on his head with a ball cap over that. I came across this hat and surprised him with it. Instant hit! I may need to buy another one so that I can always have a fresh one for him and one in the wash.

I am so impressed with this cap. Use it to work in hot Texas sun with > 100 F degree temperatures. Prior hats fell off, covered poorly, and didn't provide thorough coverage. This cap does. My skin can still be called "fair" and not "boiling lobster". In addition to all the forementioned wonderfulness, the cap is so incredibly cool. Overheating under protective layers is something that causes me to take off the layers, that didnt happen with this cap. I plan to purchase more so that i have one available while others are either washing or being used for trips to store/park/events/etc.

I was referred to this brand from a friend. I love the hat for many reasons, my ponytail fits out the back and the material is not super heavy, making it very comfortable to wear. There is a cinch down strap in the back to make it fit perfectly. I like how the bill folds to pack up easier for traveling. The neck cape snaps on and off very easily. I would totally recommend this hat for any hikers (or other who are outside) to keep the sun off and keep your head cool!

Love that this hat folds and I can put it in a purse or pocket. And another must for me is a hole for the ponytail. Great hat with extras - I've had three melanomas so I have to cover up.

Sun Guide Cap side flaps keep the sun off your face when driving or hiking. We have two of them.

This hat has the biggest widest brim going for a baseball cap and it folds up into nothing. I own 3 of them in different colors. I do not use the neck scarf but I will take it to Alaska with me.

I love this hat. I would add a second button a little higher up from where the bottom button is on the side flaps though, so the wearer of the hat can close in on the face a little for sun protection if/when necessary.

This cap is great. Protects your head and neck from the sun. The fabric feels light and breathable.

I bought one of these more than a year ago and have worn this hat for more than 200 days while building our house in Arizona. We throw it in the washer once a week and it just start fraying a bit on the bill. The hat functions just like the website says and does a great job keeping sun burns away. It is sweat absorbing. It stays on your head in the wind. It fits comfortably under a hood when it's cold. I'm sure there are other tools I've purchased that are as useful for the money as this hat but none stand out right now. This is a great functional hat.

I have several of these and love them. Best sun protection hat available and stays on in windy conditions. Great for travel/trips too!

Bought this for my brother whose job requires him to be outside most of the day. He is VERY happy with how this hat protects him and still be able to wear a hard hat.

I've owned 100's of hats as a bald man, and I'm picky. Used it backpacking. I give it a 4.75+ score. Fits great, stayed on even in moderate+ wind in comfort, the fabric BREATHS VERY WELL keeping my bald head cool! Lastly it was highly mosquito proof (in Safari Mode). The mosquitos were especially heavy all days too!! And it washed up looking like new. I also loved the surprising added eye glare sun protection attribute coming from the side when in full Safari Mode If the vail, which is added to the hat with snaps, could be lined black inside by the eyes for even more glare protection, then this hat would be a 5+. The head vent flaps would not stay up in wind though. The hat breathes so well it really didn't matter anyway. I have a large head and the large size fit my head great. The wide adjustment band works great making it comfortably adjustable, when it got windy I'd synch it up a smig, and then loosen it when the wind was less.

I needed sun protection on my neck and wearing neck gators are too hot in the Florida summers. Hat is comfortable and lightweight. Will buy a second hat when I have this one in the wash

Very practical and easy to use, lightweight and effective keeping the sun off my face and neck.
