This is the best sun hat ever. I bought one at the gift shop at Saguaro National Park. It covers and protects my face and neck and is light weight. I mainly wear it at the beach and for hiking and walking. I highly recommend it. Recently, I was on a Hudson River cruise and I had not used the chin strap. Unfortunately, a gust of wind came up and the hat flew off into the Hudson River! By that evening I had ordered another one!

Had one for about 20 years. Lots of people asked me about it. Loved it. Lost it. Looked for another. There are lots of sun hats out there, and I have a few, but this is the only one I could find with all the features I wanted. Bought another one as soon as I could find their website.

Great protection for all day gardening and it fits my 7 1/4 head perfectly without slipping. I had a M from many years ago and it was too loose in spite of adjusting it, so I am thrilled with the new sizing.

This is my 3rd Sun Day Afternoons Hat, and my favorite. The color Bluestone is muted and perfect for me. It's lightweight and definitely keeps the sun off my face and neck. The only negative is the inside sweatband which would work better if it were sewn down, it tends to fold forward.

I had one for 25 years and now seem to have lost it. It was my favorite hat bar none. Lightweight, neck protection, ear protection, forehead protection, glare protection for the eyes. Best hat I've ever had.

I got these hats for the whole family. This is the same style hat I've had for years. I wear it hiking, cycling, camping, and even at work when I work outside. This one my 18 year old daughter picked out. She loves to hike and be outdoors but she is subject to sunburn as I am. This provides excellent shade and she loves the beautiful color. She didn't want a place to put sunglasses so she didn't order the ultra. This hat has the little cooling vents which is great on a hot day of hiking. The strap with clasp to tighten is an essential for the wind. Even though this hat isn't the one that has the foldable brim, it can still fold in half and look great when stored flat. Sunday Afternoon hats may cost a little more but it's worth it. You get what you pay for and this is excellent. The whole family loves these hats.

The adventure hat is a very well thought out hat. Aside from all the features you have read about this hat, in my opinion it is lightest weight hat on the market with it's qualities. For me when it is hot and you don't feel like you want to wear anything heavy, this is my hat. I bought several more for my bug out bags for the extreme heat advisories that we will probably be getting this summer here in California. I love this hat.

Fits well, great sun protection and the strap holds your hat on to your head on a windy day. Worth the money and lasts for years!

Use this hat while gardening in hot Florida Sun. It keeps me cool, firm brim is the perfect size and doesn't blow up when windy, love the color, it protects my neck and happy it has a strap. Don't garden without it!

This is the perfect hat for backpacking. While having a nice wide brim in the front, the "cape" in the back does not interfere with the pack! Very well made and great customer service. Highly recommend.

I got this hat 4 days ago. Its amazing in terms of sun protection even though not high on fashion scale, which I think is the purpose of this model of hat. I have the same model for both my kids and that was my reason to buy a 3rd one. It fits my head great unlike generic ones that are too small for my head. I still need to see how it holds up to washing.

Awesome hat. I am a normal woman. The S/M was too small. Sent them back. The large came today. They are Perfect. Got two colors Blossom and Blue Moon. Feminine and cute in these colors. The large size will give me much better sun protection and is comfortable no matter how I style my hair.

Very stylish hetlove it!! Love the embroidered band and the fluttery neck covering. Also love the sand grey green color with black underside. Flattering to the eyes. Bonus is it stays on in heavy wind with the chin cinch. This is my second adventure hat, first one lasted 15 years!

Gardening? Check. Rafting? Check. Hiking? Check. Lounging? Check. I wear this hat for everything all summer long, and it's at least 5 years old now -- still looks great. I have a little panic attack whenever I can't find it. I wouldn't describe it as fashion-forward, but it doesn't look too goofy and the sun protection is fantastic.

We have one of these hats for everyone in the family! They last forever and stand up to everything. Stays on your head on windy days, too. Excellent sun protection and very comfy. My kids will all wear them without complaining, too!
