I can't say enough about this shoe! I love it so much I have worn thru to the next layer on the soles and I am still going to wear them. They are awesome. I use them primarily for my 5-mile pole walks. They accept orthotics perfectly.

Very lightweight shoe. Very comfortable. Not for winter due to breathable mesh top. Great for warmer months.

i like these NB's,but they run narrow.

These shoes are great. They are not stylish at all, but they are very comfortable and versatile trail runners. The sole has slightly less give than New Balance's cushiest road running shoes, while still giving a plush ride and protecting from rocks and roots while running. The Vibram sole is grippy in wet and slick conditions. I have not tried them on ice yet, but suspect they'll be better than regular running shoes. These are great as both running shoes for varied conditions, through-hikers, and everyday shoes you can walk many miles in.

All around great shoe. Great grip on wet rocks and nice cushion. Even without a rock plate no discomfort on rocky terrain.

As comfortable as all the other NB shoes I have. Would buy again.

The size was spot on & the comfort of the shoe (compared to other trail-running shoes I’ve had) is quite good. Overall I’m very satisfied.

outstanding shoe better than last years version

The shoes fit and work great. Trails all around my neighborhood so I was able to break them in day one. More comfortable than I expected. Stoked I purchased these. Kelpy

I love these shoes. I got them as a replacement for some Asics Gel-Nimbus which weren't giving any stability or support, despite their excellent cushioning. I offer an ankle-roll-warning on those; take it with a grain of salt... Anyway, these New Balance offer exceptional stability for my supination, with plenty support for the outside edge of my foot. Great cushioning. I'm not sure about the reasoning for the extended sole in the back, but it presents no problems for me so far, and seems to be sturdy. We'll have to see how well it wears over time. I got the blue ones, and they are very vivid. I'd say just a bit more intense than in the pictures, if that sort of thing is a turn-off for you. I like it, though.

Fit like a glove. Normally wear NB Fresh Foam 1080v11 for the road. Fit exactly the same. Like an old friend.

I purchased my normal size 10 but this shoe was too narrow in the footbed for me. Other than that, I really liked the shoe and would have ordered them again if the wide option was available.

I am a recovering knee replacement customer. These were heavy to me. I also have a pair of New Balance 1080v11 and they are perfect, cushy and light. I may revisit these when my recovery is 100% but for now, they rode heavy. I would recommend them to others not in my situation.

Felt good putting on initially. Good padding all way around inside of shoe. I have flat feet and arch support felt GOOD! Usually have inserts in my shoes this shoe didn’t feel like I needed one with shoe dynamics! Have not put shoe to real test yet, but so far, all feels really well!

Overall good, but not perfect. I'm keeping them because there are very few options for stable hiking shoes in my size (16) but I recommend that folks with smaller feet look elsewhere. The sole is very squishy and thick, which would be a problem for me on longer runs; I plan to use these mainly as light hiking shoes, with only a little trail running, so the weight should not be a barrier. The shoe is physically large and wide, with a lot of padding. Very little arch support despite all of the sole. Seriously, everywhere you look, there is more sole. Moderately stylish in that ugly sneaker way. Toe guard is on the inside of the shoe rather than the outside, so I wonder about the durability of the fabric on the outside of the toe.
