I was very happy to get this but they dont work for the pain in the tendons, I will keep my Hoka shoes are cheaper and they do the work better that this. Sad that I can return this because I used them for 1 day.

I am a Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Lifestyle coach, & a former competitive body builder. I used to do wear testing for Saucony, on sneakers not yet put onto the market. I take my footwear SERIOUSLY! I wear my training sneakers INDOORS, for my training ONLY! Therefore controlled conditions = spring suspension or rubberized floors, and only train low-impact for myself. I was not even in these for 1 month & the shank of BOTH sneakers (the back supportive heel made of a PVC) New Balance would do NOTHING to replace, or refund, because since I had received these as a gift, and I had JUST purchased & started wearing a pair of Hokas that I loved - thus was a good 3-5 months before I began using these. When I reached out to the company with pictures of light shining right through the backs of both sneakers, and the immaculate bottoms (oops stepped in gum/ or SOMETHING ) that never even saw the outdoor pavement, (it took MONTHS & SEVERAL calls to even get a response - CSR opened 2 case files & I have yet to even get a final answer on this!) They have told me, so far, that nothing could be done because it had been too long since purchased (they are supposedly working on a solution - 5 months after the initial reach out to them). I am FED UP & now writing this to warn others! My boyfriend has purchased SEVERAL pairs of these, including mine, for friends and family bc he loved his so...to me they are FAR INFERIOR to some of the WORST sneakers I have trained in. In 2 words = SUBPAR & INFERIOR ***Heed my warning = DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!***

I had such high hopes for these shoes however every time I wear them to the gym my feet are killing me. The way the heal of the shoe is made it feels like a hard piece of plastic is constantly rubbing your heal. The back of my heal hurts as well as the bottom. Very disappointed

I love New Balance Sneakers, but these do not work for me. The back slips off, so I can't wear them.

I order wide but still freling tight, uncomfortable , not enough cushion

These were horrible. After many runs, I was still getting a blister on my inner ankle. I changed brands because of this.

LOVED my 1080v10's but the 1080v11's are not even close to being as good. The fit is all wrong, the sizing was off. Also, is no one going to talk about that weird lump in the heel of the shoe? It's so odd and just feels like something is stuck in the back of my shoe or I need to re-adjust my sock or something. The cushion is fine but it's just not as good as the V10s's. These were awful and frankly, I don't know why New Balance felt the need to fix something that wasn't broken. Why do they do this? Bring back the 1080v10's!!!!!

Too expensive for such poor quality and not durable. Didn't last a month.

These shoes hurt the soles of my feet. I have purchased two other pairs in the past and never had this issue.

I've bought this shoe in other versions and had no issues. This one had an issue in the arch and when I presented it to the manufacturer they have done nothing.

It's very tight from the front and not comfortable.

I ordered the Fresh Foam 1080v11 for Christmas for myself and started wearing it occasionally beginning of January and then daily in March. I have to say that I had a similar pair before that I loved and wore pretty much daily for over a year, but this one is absolutely not holding up. The main problem is the heel part. It is bulging out to the back, seems cracked and gives no support anymore. These shoes are useless after only 5 months. I want to point out that I am walking mostly 2-4 miles a day, no running, jogging, climbing, cross-fit or similar. This pair was a super disappointment and I am not sure I will try another New Balance.

I purchased the shoes to switch from another brand and to try them, to my surprise the quality was very bad, I had to hand washed the. Because it rained very bad one day and the quality of the shoes changed completely they became very tied and NB didnt help at all.

Upper in toe box area too sloppy. Didn't contain foot. Painful spot on right toe due to motion. Good news is same shoe V12's are amazing!

I was "highly recommended" by in-store staff to level up to this shoe after I had gone in wanting to replace by 1080V10s. I tried them on in-store and they were ok, but felt off from the get-go (I honestly should've returned after the first run). Some things to note of that are completely different from the previous version: - V10 hugged the arch of your foot throughout the pad of the front of your foot. These do not. It feels like the front of my foot is flopping around everytime I strike the ground. My foot hardly lifted up in the last pair - which I much prefer. I purchased the same size for both versions of shoe. - The laces are a lot more aggressive across the top of your foot, causing feet to lose feeling, even when loosened. Loosening them any amount completely negates the "stability" factor of the shoe. I'm someone who likes to do a heel lock in my shoes, but these ones were so uncomfortable with that. In general, the two shoes look like completely different sizes held up next to each other, and I think the entire toe box section is significantly larger. Too bad, but will have to continue to look for 1080V10s on a different site since they're discontinued through the NB site and in store.

I've worn 2 pair of NB Fresh Foam 1080 and loved them. Recently I purchased 1080V and my feet burn. So disappointed what happened? This continued after I loosened the laces...

I love the old 1080V10 these are not the same. I had to return them. I think you changed the foam or structure of the shoe. I am searching everywhere for the older style (which I have 10 pairs of) with no luck.

They just are very uncomfortable for them on a money I paid for them I'm kicking myself!
