Had the last years 880 and they were great. These were not. Too tight on one shoe, slipping on heel on the other. Not happy with these 880's! and returning them.

I have worn New Balance for 15+ years. I have a narrow foot and they were always the best fit and support. The last pair I bought several years ago and they cause a strain against my instep hurting my back and causing foot cramps. This latest pair does not offer the same support and the fabric has rubbed all around the top. I am a 10N in shoes, an 11N in New Balance and this new one is 11 1/2 N

i tried these on in the store and ordered the same ones (according to model number) in a different color. the ones i received felt kinda tight in the toe box. i ALWAYS wear a 9-9.5 in all shoes and the 9.5 fit perfectly with good toe room in the store. the shoes i received are not as comfy as the ones in the store. i should have sent them back but i thought they would loosen up. wrong! now i'm stuck with them.

I thought he previous versions provided more cushioning and were more comfortable. Not sure why the changes, not for better.

The color and style are great. A great improvement in that respect. But I felt that the shoe was going to slide off my foot from the back. They also bothered me. I have a pair of 880s, v 10 and they feel great.

Do not like product, was unable to return. Shoes fit strangely. usually have a good experience with new balance, but in these i feel like my toe goes off the sole toward the inner edge.

There is nothing wrong with these shoes. My issue is I don't think there's anything spectacular about them either. I've been wearing New Balance Shoes for years and I justify the price with the quality.

Walking pup, approximately 60 miles total since purchase several weeks ago, averaging a mile in morning and a mile in evening, foam already provides very little cushioning. Shoe looks great, performs poorly overall.

Ok so I wore 1080s for a long time. I had to switch to 880 but u have started to make them narrower. Is there anyway u can bring back the original 1080. U provide the best cushion In the biz but u changed the heel. Don't copy nike. Pls do ur own thing and keep loyal customers the way you used to.

Usually like the 880 for woman. Good cushion and stability but this version seems to run small. Getting some blisters; should go up a half size.

Very disappointed for an expensive running shoe.

I have been wearing 880's with Fresh Foam for over 8 years and love them; I was disappointed by the 880 V 11's because the shoe seems shorter than the V10's. In addition the fresh foam insoles didn't feel as cushioned as the V10's.

I wanted to like these so badly because they were so cute and I loved the color. But I’m returning.
I usually buy Brooks Ghosts size 8.5 medium width but The color I like is sold out everywhere so I thought I’d give New Balance a try.
I bought size 8.5 medium in color arctic fox/UV
They were so uncomfortable.. very narrow & toe box is tiny and shallow. I wore them around my house for a few minutes & decided to give them a chance & wear them to run an errand at the post office… before I even got there my toes were numb. I couldn’t wait to take them off when I got home. I guess there’s a possibility they could be broken in for a more comfortable fit but the toebox is so small I don’t see them ever being comfortable for me.
I’m definitely returning these but may purchase another pair in the D wide width.
Kind of sucks the D width is more expensive. Doesn’t seem fair to charge more for a different size… especially when these shoes run so small as it is. If the D width doesn’t feel any better I’m going back to Brooks.

This is the *only* athletic shoe that I've ever been able to wear comfortably. I have metatarsal adductus, Achilles tendinitis and plantar fasciitis and the previous 880s coupled with the NB 3020 insole were the perfect solution to my foot pain. The stability bar is the secret! My last pair are very worn so I ordered the same size/width in the Fresh Foam 880v11. I was mega excited to get them as I'd been wearing much hyped Hokas that had zero stability. This caused my feet to over pronate - which all of my previous 880s stopped from happening. I was very disappointed when I got my new 880s and found that 1) they are not sized the same as previous 880s - they are almost 1/2" shorter in length 2) They are also not the same width as previous 880s - The wides now fit like a regular width and 3) the fit of the shoe from bottom of foot to top of foot is far less deep, making use of my 3020 insoles painful to the top of my feet. I had not warn them off of the carpet in my living room at all but after a week I knew I could not use them. The fit is a 7 regular despite the size stated being a 7.5 wide. I've sent back the two pair that I bought in that size. I wore the 7.5 x-wides off of the carpet but they are still too short and, therefore, very uncomfortable. I'm *now* ordering a size 8 x-wide and hoping that they will fit properly because my poor feet are killing me and I can't live in my Birkenstocks forever.
In summation, go up a half a size and a width and you should be ok. The depth issue haven't found a solution for that yet as it seems NB has discontinued their insole offerings. Very disappointing all around. I'll update when I get the 8 x-wides.

I have owned at least eight pair of new balance 880s. This is the first time the fit was off. Although Marked size 8 they are a size 7 or maybe 7 1/2.

ouch...my heels ache from walking in these shoes. Have always walked at least 5 miles a day in my new balance. After one mile, I am in pain. Don't know why but they are just heavier than the standard NB I have purchased. They are gorgeous and I will keep them but I can't use them for walking/daily exercise.

I wore the 880V8 and 88V9 for years but since they stopped making them I gave these a try nothing like the older models. I wish they would bring back the V9

Used this as a running shoe. It is just not the same quality as the Asics brand or Brooks running shoe.

I usually like New Balance and Asics for my running shoes. I wear a 9.5 AA in regular shoes and 11 AA in running shoes. But I ordered these NB in 11 and they are too short, something you just can't have as a runner. Back they go. What's going on? Mislabeled? Company making 11s smaller than they used to?

I've owned many pairs of 880s but this one seemed to run short and narrow. Tried to adjust laces but toes still felt cramped.

I wear 8 wide shoe. These sneakers were too narrow. Buy clarks shoes. They are one of the only shoes and sneakers that run try to size.

The good: great support and cushion
The bad: the toe box cuts off in a straight line, which is weird, so you have to size up. I thought I could stretch them out, so I wore them out, and now I can't return them. Disappointed.

I had a previous version of these shoes and they were great. The new version is more narrow in the toe box. I can walk in them but get blisters when I run.
