This bag is great; well made, incredibly versatile and just big enough to carry my computer, gym clothes (and shoes), toiletries, and tech gadgets. It serves me all day, and I love the fact that it has a cross-shoulder strap to make biking with it more comfortable, while it can be a backpack at other times. I haven't traveled with it yet, but the luggage sleeve that zips into a pocket when not in use is brilliant.

I got this for my boyfriend and he loves it! It holds a lot and has a lot of pockets/compartmemts. Also comes with a detachable messenger strap. I love that the backpack straps are tucked away rather than detached so you can use them at anytime. The boxy shape of the bag kind of gives Japanese school boy

It's a cool piece of equipment. Converting it from backpack to briefcase is pretty easy. While it's annoying that the main pocket only zips on one side of the bag, it's got to be like that or you'd risk everything spilling out when you use it as a briefcase.

I use this bag for work. When estimating projects, it works great for bringing my laptop, clipboard and measuring tools all in one package.

It's very spacious given that it's small overall. Has a lot of great zipper compartments that all my stuff. Also, straps are roomy and comfortable

So far so good. The bag seems very sturdy and has plenty of space for all of my day-to-day work items. Very happy.

I was looking for a flexible bag for daily work use and travel. I've had backpacks and messenger bags in the past, and they both have different benefits. This bag is the best of both. It's easily converted with brilliantly designed clips and zippered compartments to stash the strap(s) not being used. Love the flexibility to drop it on my roller bag handle or have an extra compartment, again, thanks to a great zipper design.

Perfect size for me. Plenty of well thought out pockets. Greatl quality/ material. Only thing I would add is a water bottle holder.

Used this bag as my personal carry on for a two week trip to Italy, and it was perfect. Toiletries, extra pair of shoes, iPad, chargers, a jacket, and some other small items with plenty of room to spare. Now that I'm back, I will use it as a daily backpack for work. Versatile, compact, and plenty of room. Solid multi use bag.

This bag was purchased for my high school sophomore daughter. She absolutely loves it. She has a lot of thick, heavy books, computer, along with other items and it fits everything perfectly. She loves the option to use this bag as a backpack, messenger bag or briefcase. She loves how it zips down the side for ease of accessing the contents. The only downside is there is no designated place for her water bottle but she makes due. This bag is well made and sturdy. We see it lasting well into her college and career years.

I have a lot of bags and regularly rotate between a few, the Scheme is by far my favorite. Not too large but good enough to carry all my gear (15" laptop, iPad, papers and accessories) if I'm just running to the office or traveling. It's my default bag for most business trips because of all the pockets to properly organize my 'overpacking'. The luggage passthrough is great to have when I'm travelling, I love the fact that it zippers shut. That allows me to use the passthrough as an additional pocket when I'm not traveling. I bought it when it was available in light gray. Using the two different materials is a really nice touch. IF this bag was ever added as a CUSTOM option, I'd definitely build out and buy one...maybe two. Oh and it's convertable (more bags should have this option/feature). Great quality, great bag!

Great briefcase. Nice and light. Roomy and has plenty of space. 14" laptop fits with plenty of room. The luggage pass through is cool as it can be zippered closed and used as a storage pocket. Only improvement might be a couple of dividers in internal pocket for pens and such.

This is a great backpack/bag combo for toting your laptop to work and for travel. I wish it had a few more pockets in front flap but overall it's a great bag.

I have been looking to get a laptop bag for my boyfriend and this is the perfect one. The backpack plus messenger bag design is ingenious, perfect for work and travel. The compartments are spacious and and light coloured lining makes finding stuff easier. The material seems durable and the different textures make the bag looks sleek. Highly recommend!

Very fun item. It's not a saddle bag and it's not a backpack. It's right in the juicy median. Very cool, I wish it had the highlighter green lining like the YouTube video reviews had.

I used the Scheme convertible briefcase/backpack in Croatia, Serbia & Montenegro I have a older timbuk2 luggage bag/ backpack with wheel that is the best bag it's been to like 15 different countries with me.. but I needed a bag to go with it One that will go over a pull handle so I got this new backpack Worth a every penny thanks for the great Craftsmanship

I love my new briefcase/backpack!! I had the older version and it was my goto bag for a long time. This one seems to be even better without as much velcro and I love the color and material as well. Great purchase!!

Scheme worked great!!! First use was for a European work trip. Bag easily fit under a plane seat the multi strap options were convenient. Only request is a bottle holder one like on the never check backpack would work perfectly.

The back pack is perfect! It's light weighted, quality is good and water proofed. I use it for work as well as weekend for hiking. Good deal! Also, thanks for the customer service guy, he is really helpful and follow through!!

I was looking for this exactly - a briefcase pack with backpack straps and luggage handle strap that was small enough to qualify as a personal item carry on. Solid materials and not overpriced. I wish that it had admin pockets on the inside (e.g. for a pen or two), but I use a separate organizer. No big deal.

The bag is great, it fits my laptop (14.4") with room to spare, but it doesn't feel too big. The various pockets and dividers are great for staying organized, and I like being able to make it a backpack when I want to hop on my bike.

This is a replacement for a work laptop bag. This bag has great structure and looks professional. There are a good amount of pockets for storage. I primarily use the shoulder strap for daily use, but I like having the option to carry as a backpack. Very versatile.
