The shoe is made well, like all Teva's but the cute little flaps by the toes have squished my baby toe so much that I can't wear them. I thought it would stretch but they have not. I would love them otherwise. Also they run a little short. If I could get past the pinching I could live with the short.

Once I received the shoe, I wasn't happy with the looks of it. I should have studied the picture more before ordering it.

The material used on the inside of the heal and sides is very slippery. I was unable to tighten them without my heel slipping out. The material on the side of the toes was the same and just felt clunky and tight. Additionally, I have not been able to access the return site, I keep getting an error message.

So I love them. And I don't. The fit where you adjust tightens around the widest part (bunion) of the feet which is actually where you want your feet to be able to splay and have room to spread. Also the heel felt like it was constantly going to just slip off. But I figured out the adjustment and just had to get used to the tightness in the "toe box" of the foot. Also used these on a camping Trip by a river. They do not do well with getting your feet wet. They keep the bottom of your feet wet ALL DAY! I went in the water for a minute. The rest of the day I was on dry land and when I took them off the bottom of my feet were still wet and grey from water absorption and that was 6 hours time. Which after a few days hiking the sandals became a stink show. I had to leave them outside the tent they were just so wet and smelly. Bummer. Cause they are cute. And comfy. But I'm probably going to just have to buy the originals since that's what I've been using before I made the switch.

I've had good luck with sandals like Chacos, so I thought these Tevas would be a nice change. I hate them. They're super cute but I cannot seem to adjust the straps so that I don't get a sore spot or blister. Seriously uncomfortable for me.

I returned as I did not like the look on my feet. I will stick to the model I have. Nice sandals, just not for me. I loved the pattern

I specifically bought these for the color (aragon) and the straps interested me as well. However, no matter how I adjusted the straps my feet kept sliding forward. I'm a true 9.5 but thought a 10 would look too big. The 9 looked perfect initially but as I walked with them, my feet would slide and my toes would end up at the edge. Was so upsetting. Footbed is really comfortable though.

Quality is not as good as older purchases. Not too comfortable and half sizes are needed

I love Tevas so much. I have several pairs of the hurricane and have gifted many friends the same pair. These shoes unfortunately did not do Tevas justice. The back strap kept slipping off despite multiple adjustments. And the top would chafe against my toes. In addition, these hold water and turn the whole shoe into a dirty stinky sponge.

The Tevas I have bought have been great except this pair. Too many straps that don't stay in place and if you tighten them, they have extra long straps sticking out. My foot keeps going almost half way out of the shoe, which presents a possibility of tripping. I have only worn them a few times cause I really wanted to like them.

These are so uncomfortable. The strap that goes across my big toe does not get loose enough. I have it as loose as it can go, but it still feels tight and irritating there. There's also rubbing in lots of other areas. I can hardly wear these. I only wear them when I know its going to be quick and I won't have to do too much walking. I wished I would have returned them, but I kept hoping they would get more comfortable... I usually wear between a 6.5 and 7.5 and I bought a 6 and they fit perfectly in length--so they must run big. I do not have wide feet at all--they are also low volume.

The "universal size" may fit someone, not me. I returned them.

I ordered the original Hurricane Verge in sz 10 two years ago, and liked them enough to re-purchase even tho the strap ripped out of the sole after only two summers of use. This time around I ordered the "narrow strap" version in a sz 10 and the sizing was different. I first used them in a 25 mile backpacking trip for river crossings and short day hikes. They were so big I had them as tight as they would go and they still gave me very painful blisters by the second day (and I never got a blister with the first pair I owned). I was very disappointed and needless to say it made my trip very painful and challenging. Size down if you are in between sizes.

My teva slides were getting old so I decided to upgrade to the Hurricane Verge style cus I thought the diagonal strap across with the buckle looked cute - big mistake because it is the strap/buckle component that makes this shoe unwearable. Feet keep sliding forward because a diagonal strap is just not as securing as a straight across horizontal strap. Also the mechanism to the tighten the buckle loosens so that one keeps having to bend over to retighten. Maybe I just have chunky feet? I love the look so I wish they fit :,(

I've tried reaching out to customer service and keep getting a run-a-around and have never actually spoken to anyone. This show is too clunky, the adjustments do not sit right on the foot and it wasn't because of an overrun that they were on sale. The shoe itself is not great Teva quality. I've worn Teva for at least 15 years, and I am so disappointed with this shoe and the lack of any customer service.

I purchased 3 pairs of these Verge Teva Sandals. The straps broke from the bottom in all of them. I loved these shoes because the design helped the circulation on the top of my foot. Sadly, after being a lifer with Teva I am done. I sent a respectful letter and returned all three pairs showing my concern to have no response. I only wore them a few months and took good care of them.

This is my first time purchasing tevas but I don't think I'll be back. I wanted to love these because they seem perfect but they have done nothing but disappoint. I feel like I have a pretty average width foot, but there isn't a way to tighten these without a lot of extra strap hanging out. I was willing to forgive this. However, I have had them less than 3 months and they are already completely worn. The rubber has started to chip and one of the straps came out of the sole. I do not wear them every day just for occasional hikes, canoe trips, and creek walks.

I bought these shoes a year ago and for almost $100 you would expect for them to last over a year the strap completely came unglued from the bottom I'm really disappointed.

so so so sad because i kinda love the idea of these shoes and how they look on and the style. they're also really comfortable to walk around nyc in, barring the toe strap rubbing my bunion area :/ BUT these shoes..allow no ventilation and create so much sweating in my feet, particularly the front. i never have this issue with other shoes (ie. rainbows, birks), but there's something about these shoes that causes my feet to sweat and subsequently stink. shoe starts to stink too then it becomes embarrassing to wear in an enclosed space very very sad bc i would've loved them otherwise, but i just wore them twice and it's already becoming an issue and now i can't return them

Nothing bad about the quality or comfort at all!! Just the color I got. It was sort of a beige color, looked like it was a cast.
