The strap over the toe is not adjustable. These were very tight, the strap is rigid, narrow and very snug.

they are soooo cute! I would’ve absolutely LOVED them if they’d been adjustable, but they sewed the front part down. I have narrow feet and the front was still too narrow! plus the strap releases too easily. I’m really hoping that they will re-think this style and fix the problems. I’d buy it in a heartbeat!

I should have listened to the other reviewers who said that the straps are too loose because only one of them is tightened by the buckle...they were right. The non-tightenable strap is way too loose. Too bad, since they're the right combination of comfortable and stylish that I wanted. I'm returning these shoes and can't recommend them!

The fit was great, and they are super cute and comfortable sandals. That said, I had the same issue as some of the other reviewers: there is no lock on the buckle and every few steps the straps would come loose. Wearing around the house and yard, maybe not such an issue, but I go for long hikes and it's irritating to have to stop every 20 steps to re-tighten the straps.

I LOVE this Teva style because it feels secure and doesn't look clunky. I currently own three Tevas in size 6. I have slightly wide feet so I chose 6.5 in this style, for extra insurance. Sad to say - they still don't work for my feet. The length is fine but the side of my big toe is right on the edge of the sole. Its the kind of thing that only gets worse as you break your shoes in. So these are going back. The front of the sandal is uncomfortable because the sole curls up at almost 20 degrees right under your toes. It feels like my toes are being flattened out and pushed up. Its uncomfortable and I know this would give me blisters. The straps. The straps are not a problem for me. But you need to be aware. The straps over your toes are NOT adjustable. It LOOKS like you can pull the straps through the slots. You cannot. They are completely sewn down. If you have thick or wide feet - too bad. The only part that is adjustable is the 6 inch piece that goes from the base of your big toe, over your instep, to the outside of your ankle. Thats it. That small adjustable bit makes it a little easier to get in / out of the sandal. But it does not affect the overall fit. And if you are a size 6.5 with a high instep - that strap will be too small no matter what you do (and the other part of the X strap that crosses over your instep (the unadjustable one) will also be too small). I don't have a high instep and it barely adequate for my foot. I would love a Teva sandal like this - but they need to design it with a little more thought.

I really liked the style of these Tevas and they seemed to be just perfect for my needs. BUT only the strap around the ankle is adjustable which I couldn't tell from photo. If both straps in front had been fully adjustable, I would have loved them!! As it was, my narrow feet slipped around. I had to return them, sadly.

It appeared from the photos that the strap around toe was adjustable. Sadly, it is not. The arch support was lower than expected.
